A youtuber named Zeitgeist Eater is an expert in computers (he's incredibly intelligent) and he says that people are currently working on a decentralized internet that the governments and elites won't be able to control. He said it's close to alpha stage. I can't remember how far away he said it was, 6 months, a year, but either way, it's VERY close. Bitcoin may not be all that private but other cryptocurrencies are much more private than bitcoin (such as Monero). Everyone likes bitcoin because it's uncontrolled. A LOT of people are going to discover gold and silver from first discovering bitcoin. They're going to realize that what makes bitcoin good (limited amount of them) is what makes gold and silver good. Gold and silver are controlled through the futures market on the COMEX, but bitcoin is uncontrolled and it will destroy the dollar and all other fiat currencies. Blockchain technology COULD become the worst thing ever to happen to humanity, BUT it could also end up being the best thing ever to happen to humanity. What will make the difference is whether the evil elites end up in control of blockchain technology and the internet as a whole, OR whether no one ends up in control and we end up with a free and decentralized internet. It's all about whether people fight or just lay back and let the elites take over the world. It really IS at a point in humanity history where it's fight or die.
