Ten-thousand years before the events of the Spuresworth Saga, saw the First Blacktron Incursion! A galaxy-wide war which consumed unimaginable amounts of lives and left destruction on a massive scale in it's wake.

However, several years before that saw the Pirate Wars, where a certain Leto of Paradisia led a great pirate horde against the united armies of Unitron. Leto however, would soon meet his fate at the hands of a rather plain and unassuming bounty hunter with a grudge. Unbeknownst to him however, Leto's death would trigger a series of events that would eventually become a brutal war on a galactic scale...

We join our hero on the city streets, somewhere near the docks. A merchant lies dead ahead, and the local cantina is down the street and to the right.

What will you do, Headhunter?

Investigate the crime scene

Xheck the body for loot.

Investigate... the nearest bar for tasty drinks

Ask around at the bar about what happened.

Buy the Shreep in the background. It will be our mount

You approach the Frog-Man beggar, whom you presume to be dead. Your assumptions are proven wrong, however, when he extends a frail hand holding a mug, and utters the question that all good beggars ask:

"Spare s'm change?"

You decide since he's begging for cash, he probably doesn't have anything of value on him.

Moving on down the street, you approach the scene of the recent crime, a trail of blood outside the tent!

Though the two Space Police officers you saw walking away probably wouldn't like it, you take a glance inside the tent.

"Lovely"

A rusty dagger protrudes from a poor wench's abdomen. From the looks of it, she's been dead for a while, a look of horror permanently imprinted on her face.

oh fug

Get out now. They'll try to pin this shit on you

Considering the Space Police's tendency to not care who gets arrested, you decide sticking around isn't the best option.

On the way to the cantina, you pass by the Shreep salesman, and consider owning such a beast. You shake your head and keep walking, noting that a Shreep would simply be too stupid to carry around, much less try and mount.

"Welcome to the Texas Cantina. Leave your problems and your quarrels at the door." says the Kranxx doorman, who's breath reeks of fish-meal and alcohol.

Preparing your nose for the worst, you make your way into the cantina...

[Loading next scene!]

>Texas Cantina

They'd better have some damn fine steak and ribs to have that name

The Texas cantina prides itself on being the only restaurant in the Industrial Sector that doesn't serve meat it found lying dead on the street!

Don't keep your hopes up.

The Texas Cantina, filled to the brim with aliens and humans alike.

What will you do?

>Should we be looking for heads to hunt or investigating a crime?

Remembering why you came here, you step up to the bar. Perhaps an old friend might be in...

"Is Denny in?"

"Yeah, but he said not to let anyone-"

"Is that a yes...?"

"Through the door behind you."

...

"Oh... oh yeah! Right there, babe"

"[Alien noises]"

"Come on, ba- huh?"

"What part of 'do not disturb' do they not understand..."

"Well don't stop on my behalf."

"Well I'll be a son of a sandworm. I didn't think I'd be seeing you around here for a *long* time. I assume you're here for more work?"

"You guessed it."

"Well, pull up a chair."

You both wait in silence for a moment as Denny brings up his logs.

"It would appear that I've got three active bounties as of the moment."

"Shoot."

Is anyone still up, or have I taken so long that everyone fell asleep? We can always pick up again in a few hours.

*dissents* :3

Is that a Christmas tree ornament?

bump for interest

I'm excited to see where this goes!

>New Jerusalem

Narrowly avoided a Xenogears Perfect Works/Xenosaga reference right there.

legoquest.wikia.com/wiki/New_Jerusalem

Yeah okay, quest's own canon.

xenosaga.wikia.com/wiki/Fifth_Jerusalem

Oh good, I didn't sleep in too long. Quest will be back up shortly.

"I've got three active bounties up at the moment: An escaped gladiator on Thyrus VI, a bandit clan leader on Arkad, and a smuggler hiding out on Regis Minor."

What will you choose, headhunter?
>Smuggler on Regis Minor
>Bandits on Arkad
>Escapee on Thyrus VI

If you'd like more information about one of these planets, feel free to ask!

Not to be a dick, but I think the resolution of the pictures might be a bit too high.

Lets go with the Escapee on Thyrus VI

Go for the gladiator, seem interesting enough.

"Interesting choice."

"I'll need a ship, though."

"I was afraid you might say that."

"Can you fly?" Denny inquires, a nervous sweat on his forehead.

"Without crashing."

"Well as it so happens, I've recently acquired an old heavy fighter that I was going to sell on the black market. Can I trust you won't fly it into an asteroid field?"

"Of course!"

Was baneposting part of your plan?

"Aint she a beaut?"

"Eh, I've seen better"

"Remember, not a scratch."

"Denny when have I ever let you down?"

"Don't get me started."

It's an old Vulture-Class heavy fighter, with dark-red markings indicating it was made on Ophiuchi Prime. How Denny came across such a fine fighter is beyond you.

The sound of footsteps behind you draws your attention from your preperations.

"FREEZE!"

"By order of Unitron law, you are hereby placed under arrest!"

...

"...for what?"

"Uh..."

"(What did we agree on?)"

"(Murder, right?)"

"(Yeah, murder.)"

"Murder!"

What will you do, headhunter?

Inventory check!
>1x Burner, Mk.III
>1x Vulture-Class Heavy Fighter

Roll a d12 and link to this post for whatever you do, please! To roll, put dice+1d12 in the Options field!

anyone?

Rolled 5 (1d12)

seduce the police

"Now now, officers. Surely there's a more..."

"... peaceful solution?"

...

It's not very effective...

Try something else, and quickly!

Rolled 5 (1d12)

Keep going, I can tell he is almost seduced

Rolled 11 (1d12)

Use whatever the burner is towards them and try to jump to the ship

"You like that officers? There's more where that came from!"

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

They've brought in a riot trooper! Armed with four rotating barrels of death, these elite troopers have enough firepower to wipe out an entire crowd of unarmed protesters!

Be sure to roll a d12 and link to this post for whatever you do next!

At least someone's enjoying the show.

Rolled 11 (1d12)

Duck and charge forward, grab the gun away from that bastard!

Ever ready to tempt fate, you charge ahead...

...Firmly grasp the riot trooper's rotary cannon...

...And steal it right from his hands!

But not before knocking over the riot trooper, just for good measure.

Suddenly you find yourself on top of the situation. What will you do next?

(Remember to roll a d12!)

Dispense over the top vigilante justice: rotary rifle style.

Rolled 6 (1d12)

Whack em with it!

Hmm, for some reason my roll didn't go through?

Rolled 1 (1d12)

Slowly retreat to your ship. Don't forget your coat!

dice+1d12 in the options field

"Now you two just stay right were you are, and nobody else has to die."

*pew*

The smell of ozone and burnt fabric fills the air, as a fist-size hole in your coat is made from the pig's laser beam.

*wwwwhhhhhrrrrRRRRRRRRRR*

*BRRRRRRRRRRRT*

...

STEEEEE-RIKE

With nothing left to do in the hangar, you proceed to take off with your ship. Best not to hang around anyways, no telling how many reinforcements the Space Police will bring next time.

Time to leave, Dr Doak.

Hopefully you remember how to fly...

To be continued?

Wow, that was pretty fun. Maybe next time I'll try and be a bit quicker.

Good first try, user. Looking forward to next time.

It might be a while before next time, but I certainly plan to start another episode at some point.

That's the Coruscant ball from the Star Wars Planets line, which came out like 3 years ago.

GAS THE NEW KIKES

SPACE WAR NOW

I can never get the lighting right when I try something like this.
