Got liquidated again. every time I get stronger

Got liquidated again. every time I get stronger

i bounced right off my liquidation line today user...

What was your margin?

60x. I was doing precious metals though. there was an.. unexpectedly large downturn. still the lev was too high. I was too overzealous again

Well there you go. I know a dumb albanian guy who stacks boxes at costco who made about 150k in two years from forex and metals but he still gets burned every now and then

No, you get poorer every time.
Fucking dumbass

false, it works like an airplane. every mistake you make goes into the blackbox. One day Ill be getting absolute returns

its zero sum game newfag

Please keep 'getting stronger' if it means I keep getting your money :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Pretty sure my money went into the hands of JPmorgan shorting metals

I don't know whose money I'm getting, but chances are it's not the people at JPMorgan.

xauusd and xagusd you should aim for 3-6x traditional leverage (warrants and cfd) range depending on your timeframes. etfs might be daily resetting but even for them if you go over 3x you'll then again have too much leverage drag

Did you sprout wings and devil horns? Is their a black cloud fallowing you around and you smell of sufur? Than probably not.

fallow (ˈfaləʊ/): adjective

1. (of farmland) ploughed and harrowed but left for a period without being sown in order to restore its fertility or to avoid surplus production.

Do you even trade futures?

true. I was drunk all week and put in several average down positions with super high leverage. my total losses are only 150$, but thats all my stock profits this week so its a bummer

>Do you even trade futures?
Reluctantly. I don't like having a small chance at massive gain, I want a sure thing.
I don't like getting into fair trades, if I hold derivatives most of the time it's to hedge something.

I have an arbitrage bot getting some small profits in crypto for example. Safe and slow, and totally unfair.

what do you use gold/silver to hedge? it doesnt even seem like its inverse to the dollar or anything anymore

personally Im in metals because they spike up HUGE every time north korea makes a threat

Nothing complicated, I'm no warren buffer, I don't have a particularly complicated strategy. I just take opportunities when I see them.

With all the hordes of PHDs that dedicated their lifes to this, I don't think I can win against them just by reacting to (or trying to predict) the news.

It's only because there are random people playing casino with stocks that I can extract anything from this.

its not their education, its that institutional investors specifically target stops to manipulate the prices

btw... did you make the arb bot yourself or is it one of the github ones?

There's certainly some manipulation going on from times to times, but that's far from the primary way institutional investors make profits.
It's not just us vs them, they're also competing amongst themselves, it's not that easy to manipulate the price when you have other whales to contend with.

It only just makes sense that an institution with hundreds of talented people working on a subject would be more successful that the average person, without getting into manipulation.

It's homegrown. It trades between exchanges, and it LOVES when every exchange is dying under the load and it's really hard to pass an order. That's where the price deltas get really juicy.

well, my whole strat Im trying to develop here is based on trying to find footprints of institutions in indicators so I can latch on like a shark cleaning fish. Like, volume size, where the majority of people would put their stops ect ect

well good luck with your bot. Im cashing out crypto slowly to move into safer investments

Thanks, can't blame on that.
