Post GOAT Space Marine colour schemes

...

I thought we were passed this

It's always fun to play " kick the retard".

...

None purer.

...

>None purer

I don't count NEARLY enough purity seals for you to make this claim.

Sons of Horus were pretty cool desu senpai.
Fuck Abadon for giving the the lamest colour scheme imaginable.

How come those SoH are in LW colors?

Red Corsairs are also pretty rad.

Almost as rad as Tiger Claws.

Mantis Warriors also come close. Especially their sniper's camo.

The Badab War had the most swag chapters involved.

cant beat pre heresy world eaters, pure rage bubble wrapped in blue and white packaging

I love how Forge World 'modernised' all those old schemes.

Exorcists just got thrown out and replaced with not-word-bears. Suits them DESU senpai

What the fuck happened to Salamanders?

>black armor with Doritos™ appliqué

They took their name very seriously back then.

...

...

I thought this was AK colors?

Different-colored face masks. Unf.

Rolled 17 (1d20)

Test.

Muh chainaxe wielding nigga

Patrician taste, brother

:^)

Forge World's take on the Alpha Legion is goddamn beautiful

...

>Simple.
>Clean.
>Not trying too hard (unlike 90% of the colour schemes posted in this thread).

The Greatest of Them All.

...

...

>problem, Ravens?

I love the Word Bearers scheme. So much that I'm basing my loyalist chapter scheme off of it.

Original and best.

Best legion. Best armour mark.

I wish GW had made plastic Mk V instead of Mk IV.

Fucking why. MK V not only looks like dogshit, but canonically is dogshit. What they should have done is make plastic MK III.

I didn't know I wanted marines with camo schemes that much.

> Literally gold-plated
> Leadership wear fucking cloaks, crests and tassels to mark them out for enemy snipers
> Draw their aesthetics from an empire that failed 40 millenia in the past.

agreed alphanon, this shit is beautiful

>World eaters will never be a loyal chapter

> Great Crusade era
> Warhound splinter
> Endrydd Haar's boys
> Warp-related time travel

Belieeeeeeeve.

Death shroud has the wrong file name

>Leadership wear fucking cloaks, crests and tassels to mark them out for enemy snipers
> Draw their aesthetics from an empire that failed 40 millenia in the past.
Congratulations, you just described every space marine army.

...

I've been wanting to do the same for some Blood Angel successors, kinda make a mix of Heresy Word Bearers (silver or white face mask, grey shoulders) and Thousand Sons (scarlet, gold or bronze gilding) to make them somewhat distinct, but keep the general red theme of the Blood Angels. Largely because I love the color schemes of those two legions, but especially the Word Bearers.

Mk V has bad performance fluffwise, but aesthetically looks really aggressive and cool.

Those are Mk III's

Not just bad performance. Its armor rating is the worst.

this image makes em seem too gaudy. love me some celestial lions though

This I like

You like different colored face masks, eh?

Hammers of Dorn have everything you need.

>Literally Gold Plated.

You've never seen the Auric Patricians, have you?

No shit. Mk III worst mark.

Wow. Found the fucking Dark Angel I guess.

HRRRRRRRNG

You like it, don't you?

Here's some official art.

...

Betcha the beakies were begging for Mark III during Gate 42.

So, a quick question about this Pre-Heresy UM color scheme - what's the secondary trim color here?

It kind of looks like an aged Bronze, not the normal gold/yellow of the 2nd company.

I have a UMs successor chapter I'd like to draw up and that's a cool color.

...

...

...

Ironic that these two are basically on polar ends of the Heresy spectrum but have such similar color/iconography.

...

What is the one on the right?

This is pretty cool

Dark Angel

Their legion days had different colors?

Looks like it, could be a pale gold of some kind as well.

>Found the fucking Dark Angel I guess.
>Dark Angels
>Hating MK III
U wot

yeah they used to be similar to the ravenwing even the lion himself wore black, not green

Yup, most of the Legions changed their colors throughout the Crusade and the Heresy.

The Consecrators are cool.

Honestly, I prefer the Dusk Raiders color scheme over the Death Guards'.

That's actually pretty cool, the little carved aquila on his breastplate.

Now I need to look up who the Dusk Raiders are.

Wait, I feel stupid, that's Death Guard before they were Death Guard.

I'm tired.

Death Guard before Morty.

Man these color schemes looks so fucking good...should've stayed true. Also, the fuck does GOAT stands for?

Greatest Of All Time

GOAT= Greatest Of All Time

I actually love the Dusk Raiders colors. I was thinking about doing a 30k army with that scheme.

White gold.

No no no, it's a reference to actual goats, like the goat tower.jpeg, certainly not a metaphor for stop spoonfeeding faggot

Rate my corrupted Palatine Blade character's colors.

Iron Knights.

Looks like someone killed a unicorn wrapped in the last rainbow, put the carcass in a paint mixer, and sprinkled untainted virginal blood with just a hint of Christoper Walken in it.

-1/10.

Can we post our donut steel chapters?

I know, perfect ain't it?

If they're GOAT.

Fucking iPhone turning my pictures on its sides REEEEE

What could I do to make them GOAT, user?

Genuinely like them and be passionate about them. True GOATness is all about perception, my dude.

Black and Dark Grey Tiger stripes.

I mean, color scheme-wise. The Scions of Tarvitz up there are mine.

The colours are nice, any pics?
