Yes you can join a round as an observer.

that was just a basic mix but it was also rigged up to heat and cool the station as needed.

Also, I might be able to convince 3-4 wastrels to join me on the station. How is it? I haven't played since 2010-2012ish. That period is a little fuzzy. I used to play as Alpharius Omegon, old bald white guy with a big beard.
