And I never played a p&p games since...
I was invited two other games years later with other people but both fell through. The first because a player suggested me as a potential replacement for a flake, but the gm chose a friend of his. The second time I was invited by a player trying to first time GM and I got a basic knowledge of the rules, even rolled a character. However when I answered the GM's request for ideas for early game setup he lost all confidence and suggested I run the campaign (I declined).
