A total shit who does't care about anybody or anything and is brooding all the time. Despite this women want nothing more than tot hop on his prick, and he's more than willing to let them. Can learn anything, can convince any woman to loose her panties and hop on him. He can curse people who he dislikes and cause inconvience.
Updated somewhat, if there's nothing (content-wise) left to work on, I'll get started on part two.
Daily reminder that full memory loss is equivalent to character death.
Daily reminder that nobody gives a shit anymore.
Meh, plenty of people care. You had multiple people going over it last thread. Though I'm thinking the guy you're quoting is trying to parody them and make them 'annoying' out of spite, because of how it wasn't relevant to anything.
Anyway, those people legitimately care, as do I, so it's an issue for some people. It's important to understand that many people have different viewpoints on things.
Weren't you going to change the perks to be more supernatural and less just choosing a career path?
For the Slavemaster additional page that I will inevitably do, consisting of Super heroes, which would you like to see?
I haven't gone looking for art yet, so I'm up for ideas.

Alright so the Poll results are in.
> strawpoll.me
States we're gonna get a crapsack world where elderitch shit is happening, which is good, there's a lot of room for that, a real branching tree of choices even for a system test game.
> strawpoll.me
Stop sign is returning along with a number of other weapons and options being added. Armours are getting more options as well though I'll work that out more in the future.
> strawpoll.me
So here we are, Legsharks and Gypsies are getting their own origins.
However the question remains for the other two top choices. What beast is being raised and what grandchild of the old ones is being recruited. I'll be dropping a few more polls in a bit and possibly options for these two races. If anybody has any ideas (Neutered Yith, lions, tigers, awakened Leng spidaders and bears, etc)
Still working on the current ranks edition due to issues, however they should be done sometime in the next 48 hours
All perk descriptions are at least twice too big but station manager is ridicilously oversized.
You and people like you have been going on and on about "full memory loss = Character death" for at least one and a half years from what I can remember.
You have the right to voice your opinion as many times and as loudly as you wish. But other people reserve the right to ignore your opinion entirely.
>Not the Xeno
Plebs
Russian circus bears, Huge Platypus, or Komodo dragons would be my suggestion for the beast
Which supers? Presumably they help you recruit others? Some ideas:
A shape shifter, an elastic woman, an invisible woman, a mad scientist, a size changer, a symbiote, a time manipulator.
I thought we were getting two xeno origins, Quarians and Giant armored shark things?
Only if they don't say "you're still you" or something equivalent.
>your brain and body will be replaced but you're still you
I meant what the alpha game would be about
>sense those in debt to you no matter their form
though the Investment branch's perks could use more work
I've decreasing the font sizes and cut down on station manager's bloat somewhat.

user your brain and body replaces itself every 15 or so years.
Well if Highlander is working with the most open origin. Who knows. Maybe there will be a xeno option or the option to live forever as a toilet.
>the stop sign is back
Aww yeah.
Take your time on the ranks, boss. Rushing does no good in the long run.
Tried to balance the needs of my dick with the needs of the colony.
Skills:
-Sexual 12
-Social 10 10%
-Mechanical 7 35%
Landing Site
-The Accident 7 50%
Colonists:
-Brooks 6 60%
-Ming 4 70%
-Keira 2 80%
-Shalaka -2 100%
Complications
-You're Here Forever -1
-Did You See That 0
A couple colonists I would've liked to have, and I'm paying a premium for Shalaka but she seems like fun. Ended up with all of the bisexual girls but that wasn't actually intentional. I certainly don't mind, though. I could take the "Do You Copy?" complication for either a flat 5% survival chance or to take Mei Mei on board.
Either way, pretty creative setup for a waifu harem CYOA. Pretty enjoyable balancing all the numbers and I liked the setting.
Don't argue with Golden Truth, user. If it's in the rules of the CYOA, it's true for the CYOA.
A team of magical girls, and whatnot.
honestly, super heroes aren't my thing and I can't think of any that are attractive.
maybe batgirl, but mostly because she's the police commissioner's daughter.
Everything should have a clear element of supernatural powers, I don't know how to change it but a lot of powers right now are perks easily accessible by any muggle with enough money.
Multiple anti-demon ninjas.
let's say you're perceiving things in slow-motion, giving you a lot of time to think and react. Has your perception of time slowed down or sped up? Has your perceived time slowed down or sped up? (that's not a typo, those are two different questions)
Do they come in a variant other than a tittymonster?
Your perception of time has sped up, and your perceived time has slowed down.
Possibly both? It entirely depends on the situation.
Yes.
Elder Things?
A proud and arrogant princess type.
I'm working on that, the problem perks I have in mind are, Goons, Automation, Vending, and everything Investing Down.
A type who secretly has a fetish for submission and is really obviously trying to lose, but won't admit it.
The Antarctican pure breeds or the Penguins?
The originals.
Their history is so obscenely long, it wouldn't make sense for them not to have had a few Travellers show up here and there. Plus, they actually seem like really cool guys given what we learned of their culture.
Very rarely. Tits seem to be one of that artist's fetishes.
Yandere for me mate, you can never get enough love.
They were a pretty neat bunch, and given that Duwall was all buddy-buddy with yog-sothoth there's probably been plenty of interaction between the more diplomatic children and grand children.
The problem is that you get faggots like Nyarlathotep that break into your home and eat all your food while you try to fix some shit he got into.
Asshole.
Thankfully the Elder Things never actually worshiped the Old Ones. They actually warred with the spawn of Cthulhu a few times.
>mediafire.com
is the image version fully done?
>what grandchild of the old ones is being recruited
I vote Illithid/mini-Cthulu or the technorganic monster people that look like walking armor?
>unironically wants a mentally sick girlfriend
Not by a long shot m8. It's complete but it'll likely go through one or two editions.
This is why you bring bug spray or whatever parallel the Travellers have for Old one kids.
Pretty much, minus the lore section and the Mystery Box.
>Unironically not wanting to love sick girlfriend
Anyone got some big universe, sci-fi coya that you can really get lost in?
Incorporate goons into promotions by specifying how you can specialize them.
For automation you could get the ability to quickly summon factory architecture. Computer tech I don't know, that's something literally anyone can get in the modern world. Same with vending.
Hide-away could work if Rorch is a semi-sentient space-time bending entity that you need to be attuned to to really delve into.
Traveller, Spess Refuge, Star dust, things of that nature?
I can see that.
If Rorch is a living city that would also justify being able to summon buildings, they 'grow' from a seed.
Star Dust???
>yes, even that
...how does THAT even work?
Are the suits all mens' suits, or are there womens' suits too? Can you pick which work for you or is it random?
How do suits feel about being washed and laundered?
Suits is what punks call conformists.
This one looks great.
Let's get the additional points out of the way first.
"You are here forever"
"Did you see that?"
2 extra points.
>Skills
Medical & social. (3 points)
>Site
The Station. (3 points)
>Colonists
Felissa. (Free!)
Kanae. (1 point!)
Brooks! (1 point!)
Madison. (1 point)
Ming. (1 point)
Nadja. (2 points)
Mizuko. (3 points)
So, how will this plan out? I think my picks are very reasonable. Leadership, and extensive medical ability. The station seems like a solid choice, somewhat possible to expand, sturdy, high end.
The colonists who will be going brings a wide variety of skills, while being somewhat reason-minded (most of them, anyways) and I do not think any of them are a threat to the station or our survival. A lot of them are focused on protection of the colony, or at least keeping us alive. A few of them can play together really well, like Ming and Felissa, or Kanae and Mizuko.
>Suvival chance
20 for skills.
30 for the station.
55 for the colonists.
That's 105% total. Godspeed, colonists.
I modified The Goons perk to give suits improved physical ability.
put in factory summoning
Made Hide-Away space bending.
discerned suit biology.
You get even amounts of men and women.
Ones gained from points are random, purchased are by choice
THAT means whatever you want it to mean.
Suits in this case are basically the natives of Rorch.
Oh. Nevermind then, thanks
Absolute power. There's more to life than fighting, and more challenges than the kind you can defeat with punching.
But really, it would be better to, instead of putting extra reading material in the description, pick a better image.
All the images are square and don't really fit the format at the moment and they don't give a sense of unified theme.
I guess the visual design is will be polished later, when the content is complete.
I do, I just haven't joined any discussion about it in probably more than a year.
...
...
Sorceress who can TF you to your personal specifications
Why don't you retype the perks that you've changed instead of pasting something at the end.
It would also give you the opportunity to re-fluff Rorch to fit the living city concept. Like, now summoning is sort of an extra thing you can do with automation rather than the whole point of the perk which is what would solve the problem with the power not really being a power. And if you retype it you can connect it to the description of architecture outside space and time for hide-away for some better lore.
Like, one of these images.
A suit with somebody in it.
Oh this one looks really interesting. Would be neat to see what other builds people come up with and place them all in the same universe. I have a few ideas but won't have time to figure everything out until later.
Second.
If someone wants to die, I have no desire to stop them.
user, what can I do to make you try your hand at making cyoas?
Spoonfeed me a decent program to actually make them in. I started out doing some outline stuff in paint.net because I'm pretty familiar with the program, but the complete inability to actually edit text is a problem. Not at all insurmountable but it is frustrating and makes a good excuse to stop working on it.
Thinking about just a word processor. The Google docs one is pretty good, right?

Everyone knew something wasn't quite right with her from a young age. But what could they do about it? She was the Princess' favorite cousin! They played together as children! Why not just stick her on a populated, but out of the way planet and forget about it? 15 Years later the population of the world of Temnaya Ten' and it's moon live deep in underground cities. Under Marquise Valeria Procula's iron fist, the whole society has been practically enslaved and is devoted to mining and building The Marquise's personal army, including one of the largest ships ever built and exhausting her planet's resources. The force may be impractical, but is truly terrifying to behold. Her obsession, strange as it may be, has at least led to the disappearance of pirates in the sector. Now that Princess Theia's grown and is looking for allies in her quest to become Empress, her estranged former playmate may yet be an even greater service to the galaxy.....
Maybe I can write some more stuff up this week.

this is what I was thinking, but I confused myself thinking about it.
I feel like I need more information about all of these types of abominations before I can choose.
Definitely raptor.
People were wanting this? Male option, I guess, but she's gonna break that lucky man.
We could probably balance this shit, right? Having them as purchases seems like a good deal to me.
The megastructure shit is unbalanced for pvp, but for single player it's one of my favourites.
While not as robust as Photoshop, Scribus is online open source and free. It's worth a look, I use it for personal projects and its much easier to learn than GIMP
personally I assume the creator of the CYOA doesn't truly realize just how mindbogglingly large ringworld and dyson sphere type structures are
I'd personally scale them down by making the ringworld a ring around another planet and the dyson sphere instead an artificial planet
still worthy of the name megastructure, but not as completely out of scale with the rest of the setting
Megastructures isn't the primary problem about the cyoa.
The main problem is that the cyoa is trying really hard to be a space opera but with open access to Culture level technology that makes having economy or really any scarcity based society and the limit on dreadnoughts absolutely meaningless.
If you took all the drawbacks, and get a megastructure with 100 shipyards, and all the tech, you can churn out dreadnoughts with all the bells and whistles like cheap Chinese cars.
Your enemies can't even scratch you because gridfire gives you infinite energy, pocket universes gives you infinite matter and Particle Locking makes your megastructure completely immune to any damage from the outside and FTL inhibitors prevents enemy ships from just warping inside your megastructures.
The creator of the CYOA wasn't very good at a lot of things. E.g., figuring out how anything in a universe where Gridfire and Particle Locking exist can pose a threat to someone with those technologies without trivially erasing anyone without them.
I was just gonna make a cool setting for some space stuff. I usually build more for the story I want than powergaming, myself.
This shit is kind of ridiculous, though.
You don't even need to powergame to get the key technologies that make you incomprehensibly powerful that the politics and trade that's taking place in the galaxy meaningless.
But I did make one!
If you wanted me to post it you could've just asked.
yeh the 100 shipyards was completely OP, the ringworld on the other hand was relatively balanced in that you can get 2 habitable planets with a space port and 5 construction yards for slightly cheaper than one ringworld with 10 construction yards. If it were scaled down to the "ring around planet" level it would be completely in line with the rest of the universe
gotta agree with you, gridfire and particle locking were a mistake, rest of the techs isn't as bad though, pocket universe is reasonably balanced if you assume the universe is completely empty to begin with
...
I dunno, maybe Grid fire and Particle Locking could be nerfed to be less stable under high requirements and 'just' increase resilience proportionate to energy investment.
...brain cells get replaced? This is news to me
>>strawpoll.me
>We could probably balance this shit, right? Having them as purchases seems like a good deal to me.
They'd probably have to be really expensive to balance, right? I'd still probably consider them.
Also, it might have been wishful thinking on my part, but wasn't it already kinda implied that the departments could hook you up even more if you were willing to accept the risks of them experimenting on you?
One at a time. Comparing it to an all-at-once change is disingenuous, since it's more like a small turnover across a decade, so all data is preserved except that which is lost through other natural processes.
I could see particle locking work if it had a massive energy investment and if energy at one point ran out all the kinetic energy it absorbed would be released instantly and even if that didn't happen you'd still need to bleed the kinetic energy after a battle
grid fire, can't see that one being salvaged given its essentially infinite energy even if you can't use is as the best weapon ever
Well all of the departments are a little too gung-ho about acquiring and using shit. Bio and Experi in particular being bad.
>permanently 16
Call me a victim of modern standards, but I am far more into the adventures I would have as a young woman. I guess I'm just going to use player-fiat to imagine that says anywhere from 19-21 instead.
See "Little Girl / Wise Matron" under "Neutral Princess".
