Anyone got those tutorials for cyoas using photoshop?

Hah, the "Little Girl" bonus seems hilariously out of place in the context of the CYOA, but right at home in this thread.

>Location:
Restaurant Cellar.
A classic, and a fortress in its own right. Legitimate business up top in on a bustling city street means there's nothing suspicious about extra patrons coming and going.

>Acquisition:
Sailor Luna. Ah, I can't resist a pretty face, especially not one with her pair of... legs. Good liquor at a good price is hard to pass up and I'm well aware of her proclivities. The cops are welcome as often as the want, I am certain they won't find anything out of the ordinary.

>Team:
Billy Bones. I'm going to need both a friend and some live music for the joint. Seems like an obvious pick.

Wink. A bit of power in the right place is insurmountable. I can deal with the rag-tag cops that Luna drags in, Wink is there to head off any more serious interest.

>Challenges:
Great Awakening. Sure, they're all jazzed up by some firebrand. Swearing off the liquor en masse, I hear. They still need their drink, and they know where to get it. I can weather the storm just fine.

That Guy. That's a pretty skirt and some long hair for the city's finest detective. I'm not afraid of rumors, or some punk looking to shut me down.

>Bonuses:
Politics. Don't worry, I'm not after any of that shady business, trying to shut down the other locales I have become aware of. Just looking to keep things on the up and up. As longs as things keep moving smoothly, that's more profit for all of us.

Plus One: Agent Fedorov. Don't ask me why she walkd into my bar of all places. I could tell you, but then she'd have to kill you.

They should be in the pastebin

Does anyone have that really old design-a-monstergirl cyoa, with Dragon, Automation, Harpy, Insect, Slime, and some other options?

Posting one that may start an argument.

Put down part two of Rorch.

Posting the Sins counterpart after this

...

And this is it.

I see this all the time but i have never actually "seen" it, it'll give it a go.

This is for the guy in the last thread who wanted to see the plans of unique classes

This is easy.
>Location
Street Network
The whole city is my stage, and nobody can stop me.

>Acquisition
Wildcat Club. I'll need every bit of variety I can get in order to stay on top. It becomes harder to make it work with a street network, but I'm sure I'll be able to manage. Why do this and not a personal distillery? That's because of the power I get simply from having an in with them.

>Team
Wink. Having a cop on my side would be super-useful to have around.
Agent Fedrov, because having somebody who can back me up in a fight would be helpful.

>Challenges
Great Awakening. Why else would I take to the streets? No better time to 'proselytize' the populace than when they're struck by religious fervor and need some time to cool down. It's not a problem at all, oh no, it's all in the safety of their own homes.

>Those Guys
I have to deal with everybody else!? Nothing I can't handle, probably, but it will be extremely dangerous.

>Double Agent
I bet it's Wink, isn't it? Unfortunately for me, it'll be Agent Fedrov all along, who was exiled from Russia for being a traitor, just as she betrays me. There's nothing about what happens if you pick both double agent and those guys, so I'll pretend it just boosts Wink's competence appropriately.

>Bonuses
Little girl. Everything I did has been leading up to this moment. As a cute girl, there's little chance of others suspecting me, the Wildcats will underestimate me, and at least for the first couple of years I shouldn't have much problem with the increase in Christians, I may want to start buying makeup to make myself look a little older less they suspect me of being a devil and burn me at the stake - or even worse, a succubus and trying to 'rape the evil out of me'. No thanks.

Gun room. My prestige is low from the mass amounts of competition I've created for myself, my own reputation will be low since I'm a little girl, and the chances of a political gangrape are too high for politics. Guns are the best.

So what is Chivalry gonna be used for? That doesn't seem like a very good unique class from the looks of it.

Street Network
Personal Distillery
Mrs. Beckenbauer
Wink

I'm just going to play it safe and sell liquors to those in "need". Having my own distillery, as well as a direct connection to my customers removes the middle man, saving me money. Wink will help me out with the police, and Beckenbauer will help rake in the profits. Sure, I might not be the most liked guy in town due to my connections, but my cheap liquor and the occasional "dispersion" of rival speakeasies will bring more to me.

Right now chivalry is a placeholder name for what will essentially be a fighting style that's a cross between fencing and Palidin stuff

paladin stuff, maybe?

The term you're looking is cavalier.

So you're doing a build for the worm cyoa, without anybody posting the worm cyoa, and then posting your mario image via a link?

While we're on it though, somebody said the "wanted" thing was actually referring to a bunch of individual in-universe factions and not the ones you choose from, so if somebody would list all of the different factions I'd be willing to do a rebuild myself.

Are you seriously replying to no-reply-chan?

Don't reply! This joker's our resident psycho, who posts replies to random and sometimes non-existent CYOA's, and only responds to questions by posting yet more builds.

>“Enhancement”
thats lewd

I guess I'm not up to snuff on the resident shitposters.

I know more about Worm than I really would like to. Wanted applies to factions in Brockton Bay, right?

From what I can remember, there's the three major gangs, the Azn Bad Boys, the Empire 88, and the Merchants. There's Coil, a supervillain with a bunch of mooks. And there's the PRT/Protectorate(Not sure if they count as the same thing).

>Empire 88
>Asian Bad Boys
>Merchants
Are the local gangs in Brockton Bay. There's also the Undersiders, who are initially funded by Coil, who is associated with Cauldron. Only the ABB remotely matters on a larger scale, because their capes are hot shit.

There's also the Parahuman Response Team, essentially cops for metahuman affairs. They are very important except for their very close association with the Protectorate, who are all U.S. government capes. They're headed by the Triumvirate, strongest capes in the world, who are also a part of Cauldron, an evil conspiracy out to avert the apocalypse at any cost.

I forget most of the other groups. There's some big European nazi gang (Gesselcraft?). Maybe a mafioso type gang? There's also, IIRC, a sentai style Japanese group formerly associated with their gov. The Chinese have an enslaved hivemind of capes who can share their powers (in a diminished capacity) with everyone inside it. There's also the Toybox, a Canadian-based confederation of Tinkers (think Iron Man types, super engineers with their own specialty), the Slaughterhouse Nine (a roving band of mass murderers), and a few other, small groups. Africa's full of super-powered warlords, and there are huge areas that are off-limits just because one mother fucker who lives there is too dangerous.

Oh yeah, and the Birdcage. It's a super prison that's supposed to be inescapable.

>They are very important
They are not very important, sorry. They never do anything really important, and basically perform bureaucratic functions to enable and support the Protecterate, by virtue of having no powers of their own.

It's not a big deal or anything, but I saw some guy make a build and give himself wanted with a fuckton of people, which gave him like 25 extra points and gave me an autistic compulsion to eventually rebuild knowing that I could have had like 20 more points for powers than I did. I'll get to it eventually I guess.

I think it specified "Brockton Bay" factions, in which case there's:
>Protectorate ENE (Government heroes)
>New Wave (Indie heroes)
>E88 (Skinheads)
>ABB (Asian gang)
>Coil (Bond villain)
>Faultline's crew (Mercenaries)
>Merchants (meth-type drug dealers)
>Undersiders (young heist crew, debatably counts as a subset of Coil instead of their own faction)

>Only the ABB are important on a larger scale
Bro, the 88 has more Parahumans than the PRT and the other gangs combined

And they have Gesselshaft backing them.

Also The Teeth will try to muscle into the Bay at the first opportunity. A gang that operates in Boston, and New York City.

The Teeth, if anybody's curious, are led by Butcher, a psycho whose power is essentially that when you kill him you become him.

The Gesselshaft are superpowered Nazis.

>a psycho whose power is essentially that when you kill him you become him.

Don't forget "Also, the Butcher has slightly watered down versions of the powers of every previous host"

For fuck sake the current Butcher(14 I think?) can teleport, and explode, at the same time.

Lung's(Leader of the ABB) the only person to ever escape the Yangban(The chinese hivemind of enslaved capes mentioned in ) and he went one-on-one with an Endbringer and survived.

It's shitposter kun, user. Also what:

said. I remember several posts like this being deleted by mods sometimes. I don't know if the mods ban them though.

Yes, Lung is a badass. But that doesn't mean that the ABB is the only gang that's "Important on a larger scale."

Moreover, Lung's importance is lessened by the fact he wants to rule over his territory and sit in his Lay-z-boy, and that's it.

Also, something I've always wanted to ask: do you still have the older versions of TT, Highlander? I like seeing older versions of CYOAs to see how they progressed.

Fair enough. Not even the user you were replying to, just wanted to point out Lung's cool shit.

Using some of the finest naval technology in the world, HMS Surefire is an experiment the Albion navy is undertaking to test the capabilities of smaller, well-armed ships. Thanks to luck, skill, and a few well-placed connections I ended up with the command as my first commission. Someone in the naval department apparently had the idea to keep the new ideas out of the hands of older, more entrenched captains. I'm very happy with my hand-picked crew. Edward might have been a better first mate choice, but Isabella seems to be a capable replacement and there's no way I could turn down a spicy senorita like her. The fact that she shares my bunk hardly seems worth mentioning in addition to the highly contentious decision to bring her on board in the first place. She's proven her worth to the crew but the bureaucrats and higher officials in the navy are not happy about it.

States we are getting the Elder things, however I think the surprising upset of the Weald-fucks has made me consider adding them, and possibly another elderitch origin.

And the winner is the Irish Elk. For some reason. Honorable mentions go to the raptors and the nightmare known as the Australian Python.

Pasha gonna get lewded, but how we do it will need to be considered given the odd cut quarters for the vote. Which is going to factor into an active/passive discussion on romance I'll be having later.

>strawpoll.me/10121859/r
It seems there is some interest in "cape" type powers however I'll need to do some looking on how to do them, and to make sure their strengths and weaknesses are apparent.

Imagine how that'd look in the history books. First self-aware AI and what does he do with his free time? Shitpost in a very specific category of threads on an imageboard.

Next set of Polls along with the finished Ranks page will be in tomorrow, just need to implement those spell checks user provided.

Garbage in garbage out. He spontaneously developed on an imageboards populated by a bunch of neckbeards. How far can you expect him to go?

How were you going to do the capes powers? Would you make them purchese from different departments or would they just come from one department so they all function the same?

Just reposting a reply to a post on the last thread since that one is dead now and I only get the comment in shortly before it died.

Any way you can do some stuff with the human transformation part?
As is, if the player just chooses to remain in human form the majority of the time, it really has little to no bearing on them which dragon or which color they pick since there is no influence by either of these options on their human forms and lives.
Personally I'd like to see it where there is influence based on both of those choices.

>considering adding the Weald-fuckers
I'm for it.

>tfw no raptor origin
I'll just have to piggy-back on an established origin and fuck around with it again. No biggie.

>Pasha being romanceable
Hopefully she doesn't break us with her uber strength.

If you do include them, try to not give out the ones that completely nullify other Travellers.

The hype is real.

And I done messed up and linked to my old post instead of what it was linked to, here's the correct post.

I'm not feeling so good so my wicked ghostly waifu decided to post this instead just to get be in some mess or something
danbooru.donmai.us/posts/2339603?tags=monster_girl_encyclopedia

Well all 'Cape' type powers have origins, definitions, limitations, etc. These can and likely will be sold by the commercialists, whose job remains to be the supply of their fellow Travellers. Already we have Doctor strange, Captain America, Punisher, Minty green deadpool and Daredevil type builds as a possibility, this can be expanded into others. It won't be easy mind you but I do want to give it some thought.

>If you do include them, try to not give out the ones that completely nullify other Travellers.
There's no way I could. The literal paragon of all Travellers is a fat bearded dude whose been balding for some nine centuries now.

>The literal paragon of all Travellers is a fat bearded dude whose been balding for some nine centuries now.

The ultimate That Guy. Love it.

Although with the Punisher build, how would that work in terms of Cape powers? From what I recall, the Punisher was just really good at killing people.

Well I guess the jetpack, grav. manipulation, neuralizer, weather maker, and phase manipulator works toward that goal too.

Exactly, there's just a few things I could really add at this point, but those would be more explicitly cape.

>From what I recall, the Punisher was just really good at killing people.
Yup. That's really just it.

Does anyone know of any good CYOAs that have a level of detail akin to Demigod or the Power Armor CYOA , that would fit a decent superhero setting? Focused on generating characters and such? That is *not* the Worm one?

Get better soon, AI.

Not that I know of. Your search query seems too narrow. At this juncture, you have a few choices:

>1. Settle for a close CYOA
>2. Play an existing CYOA differently
>3. Mod an existing CYOA and post it here
>4. Write a new CYOA and post it here.

I'm working on one. Got the WIP for page 1 too. Although I'm doing heavy editing/adding mechanics.

Otherwise, you can probably just take something like a magic or gifts from a wizard or whatever cyoa and change the themes a bit.

Can you share your WIP so far?

...

And the laziest one today kids!

I know it's not technically CYOA, but does anyone have that template for kingdom describing images?

They sure get deleted fast. I didn't even get the chance to report it.

Is it any less of a shithole than it was last week?

>Satan
>Reporting something
Wow. You know it's bad when this happens.

Here we go, it's pretty much Worm v4, since I'm the one who did that. But I'm adding stuff that oughto change up the mechanics a little bit. Not a lot but hopefully enough to influence the player to have a bit more variety instead of "I create an army of super slaves".

>"I create an army of super slaves".
I don't think I saw anyone do that. I know I didn't at least, and I don't really remember anybody else's build.

By the RAW provided in the text, how are you expected to afford interesting builds using the 2/4/8 allotment of powers? The average thing is like 2 at the cheapest so you can grab one.

"Raggedy-Ann" Dullahan, Privateer & Merchant, Captain of the Halcyon Swift

Brigantine (160) Med., fastest, double-deck, large hold
Mestari Sails (144)
Forward Crow's Nest (142, gives extra sail)
Bunks (15, free), Hammocks (30, 136), Private Quarters (2, 131)
Good Galley (126)
Trap door (120)
Deck: 1/2 Guns, 1/2 Extra Cargo Space (115)
Guns: 5 Carronades (100), 3 Breechloaders (55)
Ammo: Ball (free), Grapeshot (47)
Large Rowboat (40)

First Mate: Eduardo (34) Speaks Castiellan, charismatic, man's man, tactician, well-connected
Companion: Kaarina (28) Mestari & speaks it, merchant, has connections, naive, dtf :)
Quartermaster: Apis (25) Owes life debt, very strong, smuggler, disciplined
Navigator: Victor (19) Navy-trained, adv. tools, reads weather, dislikes voodoo
Master Gunner: Diego (14) Experienced, loyal, speaks Castiellan, womanizer
Cook: Sarah (10) Tavern cook, creative, will love me, naive, dtf, leaves if cheated on :(
Carpenter: Angus (6) Efficient, cooper skills
Contract Crew (0) Skilled, loyal, good fighters

Ocean Quest: Merchant's Guild (free w/Kaarina)

Gotta go fast, and the Halcyon Swift will deliver, especially with the extra sail. Faster I go, more I can trade, evade and haul doubloons in abundance. Came up short for a fully-manned ship, but I'll make do and pick up more as I go along. Eduardo has ideal traits for a first mate: tactical officer, knows the right people, and a gentlemanly good-ol'-boy, but I'll have to watch him. Kaarina helps my standing in the merchant community, and also in bed (sorry, Sarah, just not into tavern wenches). Apis is loyal and will muscle out the expected loot bum-rushing and keep the goods well-hidden from port inspectors. Victor is like a spergy navigator savant, I'll leave it to him and his train schedules. Diego's gunnery'll have to be pointed in Sarah's direction, to satisfy both. Angus'll jury-rig the ship with little time or resources to spare. And a crack crew of sailors and fighters to boot.

I see it pop up with a fair amount of regularity. Maybe it's a forum thing.

Note to self, add dickgirl & ntr/cheating options. Bethany isn't ntr, it's a fetish.

Gee bill, 8 waifus?

I'm currently working on giving people some powers free or at a discount. However, while the intention is that you CAN break the game, you'll have to do it on a budget. You can take complimentary powers or create obvious combos to be greater than the sum of your parts. Or create more clever combos to break the game. No "take every power and turn off limits and edit every power to do everything" this time around.

Shrog'Gruth sounds perfect.

Personally, I like [Name Intentionally Left Blank]. He's an upstanding man.

Here's the template if you want to tangle with Gimp or Photoshop.

Concept manipulation sounds like loads of fun.

Because why not? But also, apparently that and mystery boxes are required for waifu cyoas. I'm just being a bandwagoning SHEEP.

Lisa's not "pure" either, I mean, unless it's a virgin birth thing.

Indeed.

Katie was apparently the most popular one last time.

It's the cheapo "break the game but know that you did it uncreatively" option.

>Required
I mean, if you're trying to make a terrible one?

Could you show me an example of one filled out, please? This just isn't making a lot of sense to me.

Oh the creativity I could have though.

It just like to leave it blank, instead of putting some half-assed name and making the whole character seem retarded.

>different user
Do we include the whole character build with that, or in a separate doc? Where/how do we submit it? I'm assuming the +/-'s are just for personality quirks and a quick summary? I've nearly completed my build, and it's going to be a good one. Well-rounded, not OP by any means, all skills and equipment revolve around character's background and fit the theme.

Precisely! Well, it's tongue in cheek and all.

Yeah, it'll either be super creative or super lame. Depends on your restraint as you use it. Loads of potential.

If I had to guess, it looks like the same format as the Allies section.

Those fish girls better be hot!

Someone should whip up companions for the virtues.

Then again, unlike the sins, they're supposed to work together anyway.

Here's a whole allies page worth of examples.

Here's one of my old abominations, just for context.

I've seen submissions done many different times, so here's some ways you can do them:

1. Post your information like , then post the template like I'm doing.

2. Post your information like , and post a text version of the template, along with the image of your character.

3. Post multiple build informations on pastebin, as well as your potential Destined for Greater Things story, and post a pdf full of completed templates onto Veeky Forums.

>I'm assuming the +/-'s are just for personality quirks and a quick summary?

Yes, along with what makes your Traveller stand out, both in combat and non-combat.

Essentially .

Oh, and for the love of all that is holy, please don't stretch the character images.

Excellent. That gives me enough to go on. Thanks!
