(Short version: 2007 edition of the rulebook, 2010 Update, and Armada)
Revised is a set of fan-rules, written almost entirely by a Dark Eldar player. It shows.

First for Tau when.

Hopefully never

Xth for ramming Ork ships with your convoy transports and causing them to warp out

I still lost the match but it was worth it to see that giant Ork cruiser chased off by the little transport who could

Well too bad, they got announced.

Though it's probably atleast 3 months off.

Really, mate.

space marines soon?

yes

>play retribution and widowmaker in 2v2
>widowmaker gets taunted and destroyed
>Insubordinate Captain on the retribution that hasn't even taken a single hit so far

>play orks 2v2 with muh bro
>"holy shit"
>"what"
>"aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

I love how people respond to orks.

Does Goff favour work on boarding torpedoes and assault boats?
Is ordnance bay spam boarding ork viable?

There was some youtube video where dude won the battle by ramming an enemy ship with one of his transports.

Literally only regular boarding actions. Assault action related favors are pretty mediocre like that.

>Is ordnance bay spam boarding ork viable?
It's not good, it doesn't work every match since rng, some build will shit on you I'm looking at you mono nurgle with triple crew upgrade. But there's high chance the first ship you see will end up fucking useless. Also I'd go bad moon or blood axe for it.

As my IN fleet has now universally hit level 10, what fleet should I try next?

Panzies,
Orkz,
or spikies?

Orkz

Orks, they are great fun, though be prepared to hate panzies even more.

Orkz it is.

Given my IN shipz were all named after cocks, I think my naming convention for the Orkz shall be old British metal bands.

Are you this user?

...yes

Isn't the Imperial Navy supposed to be green and white? Why is the default color scheme...grayish? And then...why the fuck is Imperial Navy favor PURPLE AND AND GOLD?

I'm still very fond of the "Purest of Motives" as in the context of the rest of them, it just somehow sounds filthy.

...Maybe they forgot?

why do my tyrant and lunar lose a brawl to a dauntless and a mars

Maybe you keep turning them so they can't broadside but can be broadsided?

Are you ramming and torping enough?

Git gud

The default scheme is green and white. It's just pretty drab compared to tabletop colors. The lighting is also colored so shit always looks off-palette, for example tzeetch ships look purple, but are actually blue.

...

I missed the Ork dickwaving last thread.

What are your relative upgrades? Behaviors? Ranges? Are you using abilities effectively? Melta torps > regular torps.

I'm liking your build there.

You'z still in toime!

this is my lineup
setting both to 3k broadside engaging, using meltatorps if they're not burning
but i never manage to ram anyone

Ah, i see your problem user, your ship is dead.

that happens every 2 turns

>just got my car inspected
>they had to tear off my rear window decal
rip

Oh, so that's why its called "Unmoving".

Why did they do that?
ARE THEY FILTHY HERETICS?

Is the "Heirless Throne" Achievement only awarded if YOU kill the Eldar?
Because that dumb space gay nigger put his ship into abaddon's death ray like a goddamned idiot, and I do not have it.

...

I'm surprised you didn't get told to remove it in case anyone thought it was offensive

PA is full of heresy when it comes to vehicles
>no window tinting on cars
>it's perfectly fine to have a decal on the back window of pick up trucks though!

Shit sucks.

But completely unrelated. Why the fuck do you Americans still have that many electric poles and lines hanging around. Literally 3rd world tier shit.

Because America is a big place and not every little town of 500 people can afford such things. Our government funds go into military, not wires.

Because to change it all, we'd have to go dark while everything gets changed over.

Also, who's the #1 country in the world? That's right, shut the fuck up you stupid jealous sand nigger or possibly britbong.

Figure out which one is the liberal and which one is the conservative

Damn, that's cool.

Yes. Tell the Eldar to fuck off each time they ask you and you will eventually fight and kill them.

Brit here, but I imagine they keep their shit cabling for the same reason corporate IT is often rickety as fuck; changing it is expensive, changing it causes downtime, it works if no one touches it so don't touch it.

So you get two achievements for removing Eldar?
The Ordo Xenos and that one? It's their game I guess.
Also, the game gave me the "no-mesis" before the Eternity of Pain showed up.

...

B-but why. You can't just let them deface the Emperor's glory

>So you get two achievements for removing Eldar?
>The Ordo Xenos and that one? It's their game I guess.
Yes.
>Also, the game gave me the "no-mesis" before the Eternity of Pain showed up.
For some reason killing three nemesises (the order in which they appear is randomized) is enough to earn that one.

apparently, the remove all nemesis is unlocked yif you killed all of those who apperad in chapter 3 basically, before the black Crusade proper. or it was before the 5th chapter, do'nt remember.

Concerning the two eldars successes, one is dedicated to the fact you managed to kill Eldrathain himself.

I support Trump and I'm the one that didn't say nigger.

See but also, America is Big. Much less concentrated population than Europe. And sure, the telephone poles and whatnot may be kinda gauche, but they're much cheaper than underground wire. Very dense and wealthy urban areas will have underground wire, but the vast majority of the country (especially where it gets really sparsely populated) will be using aboveground stuff.

Question about Melta Torps: do they start a separate fire for each hit or what?

Because when I use them I never notice the enemy catching on fire more than once despite an entire barrage of six hitting them, which makes it feel like I'm wasting a lot of damage by using Melta over regular.

IN Favor colors are blue and gold, not purple.

They aren't armor piercing (for some reason) but yes, they start multiple fires. Up to four.

So insecure about power lines, hehehe. But seriously, you can dig those lines underground and then switch when the underground gable is ready. Switching from poles to underground doesn't take long and the dark period is about 10-30 mins.
Also underground lines are much safer than poles.

Then on BFG, what is your favourite overachiever in TT or in video game? For me it was one armed transport in TT. That transport managed to destroy damaged Murder and one Iconoclast before running away.

Vs bombardment ships and carriers you need to get close and keep side-on to them. Set the target on their ship to generator or weapons. Try to stay close enough to let AP shells work.

Get AP shells.

Looks more purple to me.

Each hit has a chance of causing a fire. They're actually not very effective because they will both get shot down by point defense and have no armor pen, plus orks and IN give zero fucks about fire unless there's a several of them.

They do good against chaos though.

Other people have mentioned, but a few other things:

America is south of most of Europe. Paris, for example, is 8 degrees north of Banglor, Maine. Buried wires are cheaper if you get enough winter weather to damage them otherwise. Such winters are rare in the US.

America isn't full of retards that will try to steal power from suspended wires, or try to steal wires.

This is the lighting, like another user said.

It's really blue though. There isn't anywhere near enough red in that to make me think purple.

>America isn't full of retards that will try to steal power from suspended wires, or try to steal wires.
Fuck...

Im still thinking that it's either very dark blue or just and just violet.

But spending public money to improve infrastructure and develop the nation sounds a lot like what the people on TV say is communism.

The only lawful, capitalisr use of tax money is defense procurement and massive subsidies for companies.

>America isn't full of retards that will try to steal power from suspended wires, or try to steal wires.
...Europoors actually do this?

oh man that pulsar range nerf really made eldar more fair to play against!

i'll just continue instantly capitulating every game the enemy has an eldar

Yeah, especially ex-soviet states people will cut down power lines and sell them as scrap.

Blame the migrants.

They haven't done anything yet you stupid autistic shit.

Copper is a quite valuable metal. There are organised gangs (as in, the actual mafia in some places) who rove around stealing it and selling it.

Best Ork favour for light kruisers?

There hasnt been a patch yet retard.

I stick Bad Moonz on them for all dem shok-attaky actions.

Send help

Evil Sunz on everything. Blood Axe is okay for 1v1 nova spam, but Traktor ramming fleets are better for general purpose.

Evil Sunz or Goffs.

>single assault action
>no auto crit
>minimum range
>limited fire arc
Uhh...

The other factor is that in underfunded or sparsely populated areas benefit from having hanging cables because you don't need to dig them up to replace them. That makes them quicker and cheaper to replace and so they're more likely to be replaced than just left broken.

>eldar gits dive into range
>eldar gits run away
It only takes one lucky strike to nail their engines, user.

Go fast, ya grot.

Evil Sunz it is.

>always played Corsairs on the tabletop
>decide to try to main them in the vidya
>always lose

I think im shit when it comes to microing

Ah, right. America has metal scavengers too, but they mostly hit the abandoned houses and industrial facilities that became super common after the financial crash in '07.

>queue up
>pick random ork ships with torpedoes
>if enemy has eldar i capitulate
>if my teammate is eldar i ram him and shoot torpedoes in his ass

having more fun than actually playing the game this way

Lucky is the operative word here. Every one of your strikes may fail and even if they're successful it's more likely not to disable their engines than it is to disable them and it does nothing at at to affect their movement.

>Eldar git dive into range
>Taunt them
>40 assault and a ram later it disengage because it doesn't have weapon anymore
Sometimes boarding spam make me scared.

>Ork Admiral Name
Danald Krump
>Battle saying
BUILD DA WALL.

Approve?

I once won against two Ork cruisers with one crited Eldar cruiser, some web-way fuckery and shit ton of torpedos.

Yes

Anyone else is a little disappointed at the minimal line-up of Eldar crafts past light-cruiser?

>being an asshole to your teammate because they want to play a faction

why?

how do i git gud as eldar?

they fit how i want to play, i just cant pull it off well enough

How is life treating you, Alphie?

he already is the major asshole by playing eldar
i'm just trying to even the odds a little
