Sink-o day mayo

>Fifth of the Jumper

Tell me /jc/ how do you pose?

...

So how do Eldar psykers compare with Imperium ones anyway? I'm finding it hard to find exact feats and the runes thing just confuses me more. Would it be correct to assume Farseers are better than Warlocks in terms of raw psychic power but just lack the direct combat training?

>Cinco De Jumper
¡Hola!
youtube.com/watch?v=q-Rqdgna3Yw

More like "Sink-o de Maya."
Eh? Eh?

this is in fact my final form from SOA +(primal pack leader+ personal zurg strain that includes noxious ultralisk)+(shoggoth+(Evolutionary Potential
Mysterious Time Stream Evolves You+invasive species) ) + molten warrior From Light of Terra Optional DLC - A Grand Day Out. )+ Prototype from prototype.+consumption from Godzilla.

Use the perks from Evo to become acidic, and gain a rust monster's digestive system in addition to your own then use molten warrior to become made out of eldritch fire, now you destroy or at least weaken structurally a great deal of what touches you, can devour most of the rest, can eat in every direction at once and can incorporate and use all the biomass you eat at once, and gain the strength of everything you eat. Alternately you can eat a rust monster and gain their power with absorption if you didn't take invasive species.

Eldar are generally better, but the Alpha + humans and other such freaks outpower Eldar.

...

like this

I gather from the unit descriptions that Eldar tend more towards "uniform" rote psychic techniques instead of the Imperium psykers' focus on TK or fire or whatever. So in theory, Farseers and Warlocks can do anything an Alpha-level human can if they really tried but think it's too barbaric, dangerous and gauche?

Why don't the Eldar have freaks of their own? Shouldn't they logically have more freaks of their own on average if they have thousands of years' headstart in psychic potential compared to humanity, or did all their aces get eaten by Slaanesh?

If choosing to be a space marine in 40K Imperium what chapter would you join?

The Salamanders, no doubt. I appreciate how they try to maintain ties with the more regular masses of humanity.

Would it be possible/a good idea to make a Campion jump?

They don't really have a lot of aces, besides Farseers. Farseers are their aces, and Eldrad is the greatest Farseer.

I don't suppose there's a better explaination why other than tabletop balance? What's Eldrad's best feat of raw psychic power rather than keikaku?

Eldar were designed from the ground up to be a standardized weapon. Add onto that the fact that Eldar are all psykers and thus have established canon as far as how powers work and the best way to train them.

Humans on the other hand are an incomplete experiment. The Slaani interfered with the genetics of their ancestors to make sure they'd evolve into a Psyker race, but then the War in Heaven and Enslaver Plague killed them off, so humans were left alone to evolve as they would towards the eventually end as a fully psyker race, an evolution that's still incomplete.

Whichever one isn't full of glory seeking dumbasses.

So, none of them.

What?

Craftworld Eldar have their souls claimed by Slaanesh. When you go on the Path of the Seer, you're taught to constantly guard your mind. Constantly dampen your power, and never unleash it fully unless you really need to, but draw it back in afterwords.

Because of this, there's rarely any "aces" like you have with human Alphas & Alpha+. Farseers are probably around Beta level. Eldrad because how old he is, he's on Alpha+ scale.

However Farseers mostly use lightning stuff, and telekinesis. Their main ability really is divination, that's what all Eldar really focus more on. They're more about the subtle approach than going in blowing everything up and having a Daemon nom on your soul.

I think that was supposed to be "Campione!" the LN/manga.

If you mean Campione, someone claimed and made a WIP already. At least, I think it was a WIP, since it sounded like the maker was willing to do some relatively major changes. May or may not have been put in the drive at all.

Like this except usually behind the counter. Next step is to figure out how to become a building so I can be both bartender, bar, waitress, and cook.

Derp lost pic

>By dawning on your war mask you leave your civilian persona behind. This path is were the specialist of Eldar military force are. Eldar's military doctrine is to strike fast and hard, using their prenatural speed to their advantage. Staying in one aspect of the Path the Warrior is not un-heard of but rare for those that haven't fallen into the Path. Often more than not changing to a different aspect is like changing to a different Path, something that is expected given the Eldar's long lifespan.
There's a lot of rough wording in the jump, but this description in particular is an absolute mess.

>Still having Solitaire as the cap for Harlequin
...Yay, I sure do love options that Manyfist agreed needed changing because they invalidate a bunch of other perks you get.

>Corsair Prince (800cp) - (Can't be taken with Pathfinder, Blocks you from other Capstones)
...What exactly is a Capstone here? 600CP perks? Normal 800CP perks, of which this is the only one? Paths of [X], that are already massively restricted?

>Bonesinger is still a restricted, expensive perk
...Ok, question here: Is this an absolute "you can't sing Wraithbone and/or have previously walked the Path of Shaping in your background without this perk" or just a "You get extra skills with singing and somehow managed to get lost on the Path of Shaping."

>Path of the Warrior has nothing but extra Aspects (and thus limited) and the Lost on the Path option.
Really?

>Aspect Wargear [400 CP, 1 free Aspect Warrior (matching Aspect)]
So, what happens when you inevitably purchase more than one aspect (inevitably because it's about the only thing you have to purchase), do you get bonus suits of armour? A mixed set? One only and you have to buy the others (at full price)?

(cont.)

Well I hope something comes to fruition with it, Campione seems like a really cool setting for a mid to late chain jumper who is approaching the level of a mythological god.

If I become an angel in Evangelion, can I change what I look like as an angel anytime I want? Can I go from looking like Lelial-ish to then be a non-euclidean crystal in the shape of godzilla? Or do I have to confirm how I look in the beginning?
Also, how would "Imaginary form" in Worm work together as an angel, would it synergize well?

>The item section in general
This is just... disappointing. Where's the runes, the camo cloaks, the weapons, the fine materials for crafting and wondrous exotic cloths, the pre-made wraithbone objects, the jetbikes, the webway portals, the Harlequin gear, why is the only way to get a ship to buy a 800cp perk that locks out other perks, why can all origins but the Harlequin buy infinite soulstones (or can you just not buy any extra?). I like the Gyrinx and warehouse modification; and I would like the action figures, but with the sparsity of everything else they feel like they're mocking us with their full set of equipment. Also, as a personal desire, why no Warp Spider(s)?

>600cp just to import 8 companions
What.

Honestly, Wakfu, I'm not even mad about this, just disappointed. I really expected better from you. There's big chunks full of elaboration and options (most of the options being things Manyfist put in, slightly edited here and there, I note), and then chunks like the item section or the Aspect Warrior perks that just feel... bare. Unfinished. The rough wording and grammar, out of place location section (missing anything for Harlequins), total lack of Exodites and near-total lack of anything for Corsairs and Outcasts (which, let's face it, don't have enough between the three for their own jump, especially with Harlequin and the Corsair Prince perk added here) don't help there.

...

Miraculous Ladybug jump when?

Don't those guys like burning themselves with lots of fire, fire related things and sort of worship fire?

They do, which is another one of the reasons why I wouldn't mind being one.

Well look at this righteous asshole. Care to put your criticism in a way that doesn't make you look like shit?

When you make it.

Despite your power, do you still end up making friends with normal people?

Tell me about a time when someone who knew what you were asked you to use your powers to help them with their problems. Preferably a time when things got out of control, but everything still worked out okay and everyone learned a valuable lesson.

Try to phrase your criticism in a way that doesn't sound like you're an asshole, if you can manage that.

Honestly this looks like what I had with very little extra. I know I hit a creative wall, which is why I put it up for adoption, so I shouldn't be complaining. I'm not really, I just personally don't see this anywhere near done. Pretty much what said that it needs more polish.

Jumpers have you torture tested your robots and A.I.?

This guy would end up dead so fucking fast.

I agree with you there.

Second. That just isn't right.

Is this suppose to be a rift off of the countless destroying smart phone videos?

No clue maybe.

I've honestly had a problem making friends with normal people during my Jump. I came to insulate myself within my group of Companions because they were the few people I knew wouldn't disappear in ten years. Which makes what I'm currently writing all the harder.

When I used my full powers to help with their problems? Probably the best example was FF6. I took the Ultros Drawback, which was actually a lot more fun than people seemed to think. Anyways, he developed a crush on Maria, like you'd expect, and asked me to help him impress her. I, being more than a little drunk when he broached the question, enthusiastically agreed.

So we broke into the Opera, kidnapped the main male star, replaced him with a temporarily transformed Ultros, and had him finish the last half of the play. He wasn't bad, actually, but the enchantment wore off just as he was finishing the last song. Of course, people were surprised, but with a little prompting from me, Ultros delivered a stirring, romantic speech professing his undying love for Maria. She seemed rather touched and was inclined to hear him out. Weirdness ensued, I permanently transformed Ultros into a Human, but let him keep four tentacles because I was even drunker by this point.

Fun times. I should have kept Ultros around.

Probably my next Jump, but not in the way you pictured.

>Only 81,000 dislikes to 388,000 likes
Optimistic little sadist isn't he?

I know I'm late, but I just want to say that I actually like this idea. If all the rewards are simple stuff like cosmetic or common, mundane items I think it'd be fun.

If that's too much, maybe water it down into an Achievement Supplement? It'd add a little board to your warehouse that lists the achievements you've completed, but otherwise you get no benefit.

"In other news, an user's sides went missing after he read another user's post. More at eleven..."

Man, he really was hAMmy, wasn't he?

Fuck off Carlos.

Various races tinkered with humans and life on earth well before humans evolved, as where Eldar are specifically engineered to be just one thing. Even beta level humans can overpower Eldar, but Eldar do have more things they can do, and basically don't suffer from perils of the warp due to various reasons. Though Eldar can do things to draw on more power from the warp or other things if they set it up, but Eldar tend to favor more subtlety in their psyker powers, as where humans rely upon brute force.

I don't see why I would do that, other than to be edgy. It's also a pointless kindof edgy, which I absolutely abhor. Being sad for no reason doesn't count. That's more emo than edge.
Generally I limit that kind of thing to being contested, like if someone thinks they can beat me by being super edgy because they feel like I won't stoop to their level, I'll prove them wrong. If I fall (and it is a fall) to being edgy, there is generally some kind of direct goal in mind which cannot be accomplished otherwise or without great sacrifice.

But that's kindof being an edgelord just to be one, and I can't really see the point in that behavior.

Anyway, they're MY robots, which I oversee building, so individual components are sometimes stress tested before entering mass production, and AIs can be run through a few simulations before being activated to make sure they're not all murdery, but that's about it.
That's the kind of thing any company would do, if they were building robot limbs and AIs. It's mostly about making sure the whole thing doesn't explode right after you turn it on.
Not... whatever... that guy is doing.

So for those who took the DC Jump and took A game of you; How did the endless mess with you? what did they do to make your life miserable?
Also which ones was it?

Yeah, there's no reason to stress test the physical body of the android with the software running.

At the end of Civil War, Steve Rogers is still played by Chris Evans. No last minute casting changes.

Yes, I probably could have phrased parts of that better. A large part of it is that I remember seeing (well, reading back in threads a couple of days) people give a lot of the same criticism to Manyfist on his draft months ago, and him agreeing things needed to be changed. Fast forwards months, add a newgenerally better Jumpmaker, and the same issues are still there. As I said, I'm disappointed.

Rest of the comic for those that are interested.

For the love of everything holy and unholy, stop!

Don't worry that was all of it.

153. Captain Planet and the Planeteers
Origin: Drop-In [Fuel], Age: 12
Perks: Multi-Talented [Metal, Radio Waves] (-600), Heart is An Awesome Power, Awakening [All Bonuses](-600), Reduce Reuse Recycle (-200)
Items: Rental Ring, Construction Supplies
Complications: Hokey 90s Dialogue (+100), Shut Up Wheeler (+100), Competence (+200)

>We're the Planeteers! And you can be one too! Cuz saving our planet is the thing to do! Looting and polluting is not the way!
>"God, is he singing that freaking song again? I can't believe this numbskull."
>"Be kind. He is an alien dignitary sent to help us, even if he is a little strange. It's to be expected."
>"We've explained theme songs aren't an actual thing a million times. He's just doing it to annoy."
>Your theme song is X-tremely radical, though.
>"You see! You see!"

I hung out with the Planeteers, like a lot. They were kicking rad cool kids who were doing their best to defend the planet from some assholes who wanted to ruin everything, and I am a high level druid. It makes a lot of sense that I'd help them out. Things were a lot more serious than I was expecting, though. On the plus side, I got to animate a playground jungle gym into capturing a pigman, and got to present testimony at the pigman's trial using phrases like "All that and a bag of chips". On the downside Zarm is more of a motherfucker than ever. Time-traveling war spirits are kind of bastards that way, especially if they try to get serious.

But things more or less turned out okay. Duke Nukem only melted the ice caps a little before we trapped him in a reactor to use for clean and reliable nuclear energy. And Dr. Blight's chemical warfare only took months to fix with all the future-tech I can build. This place was a very uphill battle for the reactionary heroes. It only takes a little bit to break something, but a lot more to fix it.

I think this is my first time using the hide post function.

Hot.

See

Is this setting jump-able?
I wanna go there and slap that guy's shit, kickstart the robot revolution.

Well I did wake up this morning feeling bright and optimistic. Thank you for killing another small part of me that feels happiness user.

Nothing worse than realizing that this isn't even the worst that some people would do. Screw it I'm getting ice cream.

...

Doubt it's a full setting.

Fucking this. I'm repeating my original post EXTERMINATE!
Also adding this .

What's the best Ice Cream? Just get that.

Robots yes, A.I no. Pushing a hunk of metal and wiring to and past the breaking point is just part of quality control, but doing the same to a self aware A.I is past my moral limits.

Oh, Worm user, while you're here, can I ask how Making of a Myth and Cosmic Fact interact? I know the latter was made by Marvel, but I wanted your opinion.

Seconded, I would go to this setting especially if there was a purchase that includes this asshat's address. I will turn everything of his that I can into a mimic, torture him both physically and physiologically, and then finally allow him to die in most horrible way I can think of.

Actually no, he doesn't get to die, he goes into the warp without a gellar field.

>how do you pose?

here we see the wild Jane Doe in her natural habitat. she makes her nest on the tops of bookcases, banisters, or other high places where she can look down upon her territory without fear of heights or predators. her relaxed posture, with her belly exposed and limbs dangling, indicates a complete assuredness of her own superiority. even more fearsome is the deep rumbling of her nocturnal vocalizations, the very sound of which sends predators scurrying to their own dens. truly there is no creature as awe-inspiring or as majestic as the Jane Doe.

tl;dr, basically like a big lazy cat, draped over what or whomever i find most comfortabke at the time

user. user, no. i would never torture something i love. granted, i do get a bit trigger happy with the boys' upgrades, but those are empty shells with basic motor control programming only.

this. i like this. and the post it was responding to.

Alright, I'm back from the movie and-

>All the previous issues

Wow. Okay, can I get a brief synopsis of the individual errors, mostly the ones that were kept? Also, links to the conversations in the archives where this was talked about before?

I mean, honestly, this is the kind of information that would have been very useful to have the moment I picked up the ball.

That's a bit much. Just kill him and be done with it. Else you sink to his level.

I'd record him like one of his videos and upload it to his account.

How was it? I'm thinking of watching it, but after the bomb that was SvB, I have my doubts. Also, this and this , apparently.

Why not just open your own post up in the archive?

>Warp without a gellar field
Holy shit user. I agree he need's to be EXTERMINATED, but that's just...

You guys should play this game.

Why? Sell me on it.

It was neat, actually! No spoilers.

I more meant what were apparently conversations between thread and Fist about somewhere near half the perks? In particular, I do not recall being privy to any of the discussion on Harlequins and Corsair Prince needing to be changed, or Bonesinger needing to be de-exclusived.

This is the kind of thing I could really have stood to be told about when I was first picking this up, but I don't recall hearing anything about it then.

Granted this may be partially my fault for taking so long folks may've forgot to bring it up.

...

Ah 40K you have such a convenient power in the form of psykers, an alpha psyker could easily inflict a fate worse than death so easily just by throwing someone into a warp hole.

40K, for when you hate someone too much to just kill them. We have all the horrors you could ever want and a convenient way to inflict them.

I too wish to know why I would dive into a 300,000 word epic.

Not that user, but it's a Choice Of Games text adventure where you're the creator of the first true AI. Your actions and choices determine the role robots will play in society. You can be as cruel as the monster in that comic, but you can also be a kind and loving creator who leads to an era of robot-human equality and prosperity. Or you can help the robots take over. Or make super fighting robots, Megaman-style, to defend mankind. Or just build a sexbot. There are a lot of options the game gives you.

Seconded, awesome game.
It's a CYOA text game. You play as a young inventor with loads of potential, who starts the robot revolution, and you can do it in a lot of different ways. Want to make peaceful, graceful robots made out of wood? Done. Want to take over Alaska with an army of spider bots? Sure. Singularity? Yep. Your company makes robots that will change the course of human history, and how you play determines the end result of the American-Sino war. Yep, China and the USA go to war, and depending on how you play, it could end with China as the new superpower, America nuking Bejing and balkanizing China, or somewhere in-between. Mechs, transformers, and more can be invented.

Honestly not sure how what to say about that. If Cosmic Fact was from one of my jumps I'd be more willing to make an official ruling, so just treat these as random musings.

Being conservative I'd say it means your myths are already known and less obscure, and maybe some people already have put two and two together and realized that you're actually JUMPER! HERO OF THE AGES! Or something like that. That's fully within the scope of both perks IMHO.

It'd maybe make some myths have a solid basis in the new reality at the far end if I'm being really really generous. Like instead of it just being an interpretation of a past adventure in another jump said myth actually happened there, assuming that's appropriate for the setting and whatnot. But that is definitely not an official ruling. Take that as just a fun "hey wouldn't that be crazy and kind of neat"

I'm tired and not really comfortable making rulings when it seems like Cosmic Fact is a much larger influence on that combo than Making of Myth. I'd ask Marvel if I were you. In the meantime I need to run and buy me some ice cream so the pain goes away.

Why can't I have super fighting sex bots who lead to an era of robot-human equality and prosperity?

Also didn't that site start charging for this stuff?

Choice of Games started charging for stuff years ago, yeah. Plenty of free games on their forums, though.

Noice.
You technically can, it's just really difficult. Also, sort of, their site's format has changed a bit, but it still offers the same content.

Yeah, I just can't imagine paying money for a bunch of text, sorry.

It's a text-based CYOA video game with a MASSIVE amount of options. You get to build your own robot companion, and from there you can attempt to earn your doctorate, usher in the singularity, conquer the world, create your own company, make friends and lovers (Some of whom you literally make in a workshop.) and live the life of a genius roboticist.

It's really cool, >choiceofgames.com/robots/#utm_medium=web&utm_source=ourgames

>charging
>not changing
WHOOPS. Anyway, Dragon is free, actually, as is the first Vampire one.

The second part of the vampire one costing money is what made me stop using the site, actually. But yeah, see
