ASIC resistance serves no purpose. Mining exists to safeguard against possible 51% attacks. The LTC network is now very secure and it is TREMENDOUSLY expensive for any malicious entity to overpower it. There's literally no point to have forks and changing everything up so often when IT ALREADY WORKS.
