Well, "rest of our lives" in this context is not that much time.

I have to say I agree wit the monster, but the ecosystem is still ok. That is not the manga's strongest point in the first place. I rather like it in its own way because it the author blended the world building and the overall storyline together beautifully. It maybe be simple, but it nonetheless carefully developed. Many have tried and failed, but Meshi seem to get a hold of it somehow. I really love the way they explain the concept of anti-perma death instead of leaving it unexplained.

I still like monster despise it's base on popular traditional concepts. I mean you rarely see a Veeky Forums story that explore cooking and bestiary at the same time like meshi.

I wonder. Seems that although Mithril can cut it, you still need ridiculous amount of power to make it happen.

The characters in Dungeon Meshi have the kinds of personalities and interactions that I WISH my players brought to the table.

But somehow I suspect, you, like them, can't find anything enjoyable unless it's emotionless grimderp seriousness or forced angst all the damn time. Meshi is good because it's NOT that, when so many "better" manga are.
