Bloodstained mire and wooded foothills aren't expensive at all. Even the good version.

Why would Grim Lavamancer prevent you from going mono-red? Fetches give it extra fuel, sure, but even without them it's still turning your previously used burn spells into Shocks.

I dunno. People tell me not to use him if not running fetches.

Might want to consider Atarka's Command for the mainboard, and almost certainly Molten Rain for the sideboard. If you're running 4 Destructive Revelry, you probably don't need Smash or Ancient Grudge either.

Lol. It's true. I tried ordering these fakes at 3.75 a pop and they look so hilariously bad. These wouldn't fool anyone.

I've ordered from each of the stores on AliExpress, and the most believable one is Best Shopping Centre. They're less plastic-y and the color is much better.

I've put some of them in KMC Perfect Fit sleeves, so people are less likely to feel the actual card, and traded them. Pretty good bang for the buck.

Counterfeits are so common here any card over 40 dollars and all fetch lands are taken out for testing even during casuals. It's really lame. I hate my scene. 99% of the time they can't decide if it's fake or not and hold a grudge, or if it's deemed fake that player is banned from the store for life. Fuckin' nerds.

Been playing reanimator (basically grishoal without the combo, added blue), UR delver and Soul sisters which is pretty good in my store's meta. Not a lot of tron, collected chord and affinity everywhere.

I'd be surprised if more than 1 or 2 copies of jeskai crack the top 8's this week.

Can someone explain to me how in the hell Death and Taxes is tier 2? The deck just seems bad to me. The deck has a bad matchup to anything aggro, and it's missing like half the things that makes D&T good in legacy. Whats the decklist for it nowadays?

I need to update the buff spells abut it runs Glistner Elf Ichor Claw Myr and Elvish Spirit guide for ramp

blinkmoth nexus and stuff, Mostly I fiegn mana ramping to make the opponent think I am setting up board but usually It's 1-3 lands one creature and 2 ramp spells
trample 10/10 infect at turn 3 will make you concede pretty fast.

Also the Phyrexian buff spells like mutagenic growth are very important to pulling as you are going to use your life in exchange for 4 of them and you've won

it's always like that, Pull cards people are following the popular opinion on and then don't think about the cards or even attempt to incorporate them into the meta instead they are left for the theory crafters and magic heads in the back rooms. then the Prices Go up but Only after the cards have suffered sufficient neglect will they be recognized as useful cards.

I play against people with waifu sleeves and lewd playmats in several card games and they tend to be the be the best opponents: courteous, well-mannered, and most of all fun. I realize this isn't everyone's experience but it's kind of ridiculous to me to shame people for no other reason than they like some Chinese cartoons from the 30s.

It's the overtness of the otherwise inherent sexuality in anime. It's one thing to have weeb sleeves like shown, but the bounds of societal decorum (I would argue) become somewhat infringed on when panty-clad pussylips are the most prominent thing on the sleeve or playmat. I've got some horrible fakes.

The biggest problem is the color. Secondly, they feel like a poker card, or regular playing card. The thickness is only notable (bigger) if you're looking for it.

Some of the better ones I play with are still off, but look convincing on their own.

Agreed, kinda. I feel like they need to set down some more concrete rules about what can get sleeves/boxes/mats banned. On the other hand, I feel like a lot of people just need to stop being such victimized shitheads and get some thicker skin.
