Why?

So he can start the next thread with it I would imagine.

Naw, I was doing an alternate one to satisfy my autism.

Because that's what we need. Going back to the fights over the OP image instead of just sticking with the agreed upon one

Remove chickin.

What do you mean? Satisfy it how?
The genestealer one is already in the agreed upon OP image

See:
FAQ rulings are in effect now. You're always free to houserule or cheat, though.

I did say alternate one.

I can't satisfy my autism if i have to cupsale an inferior resolution sample.

It's just a silly edit but i had to get it done to get it of my mental checklist.

What's the most fun point limit?

1500.

Fuck off.
At this point it's clear you're just trying to start shit.

Well ok then.

I find 2k to be the most fun typically. Large enough to give a solid game with some list diversity on both sides, but not quite apocalypse and still a teensy bit restricting.

Where are the new FAQs?

How did they fuck up the Dark Eldar this time?

Except they aren't in effect, hence why it specifically states it's just the "first draft".
Hell, there are currently discrepancies between the image version of. The FAQ and the text version, where one says yes to a question and the other says no.
If they are truly "in effect" like you say then which one is the right one? The image or text?

This is acceptable, though we might wanna remove the guardsmen that don't match and use the template to add one back in

Passengers fire Snap Shots after Jinking or moving more than 6", even in Fast vehicles.

I have two models I want to make to represent promotions for their battlefield deeds
>Sniper Scout that killed Fateweaver in Overwatch
>Scout Sarge that KO'd Pedro in CC

What would be a good model/decoration for those? I was thinking a Devastator with some sort of special marking for the former, and a new power fist Captain for the latter

facebook page Warhammer 40,000

REMOVE THE FUCKING MEME CHICKEN. JESUS CHRIST I HATE THAT BASTARD.

I'd say 1000 personally, though 1500 offers a bit more variety.

Smaller games tend to be faster as well, which is a plus

Oh dear

First draft just means the verbiage is subject to change, not the ruling. If the text and image of the same draft are different, that's clearly a typo and you should wait for a definitive answer. Which question is it, anyway? Is it from the image where the answers got all scrambled?

1500 are great. 2000 take too long

A Lascannon heavy weapon user might fit well for the former. Maybe give him a small feather or something.

Captain might be a bit too much of a leap from scout. An assault seargeant would fit better.

Made a weird list. How well would this actually work?

Farsight Enclaves 1500/1500
Dawn Blade

Core: Retaliation Cadre
>Commander
Multi-spectrum, Puretide, Iridium, Talisman of AM, Drone Controller, VRT
>Broadsides
3 missilesides w/ SMS, 3 missile drones.
>Riptide
HBC, Stim, SMS
>3x1 Crisis suits
Dual burst cannons

Auxiliary: Ranged Support Cadre
>3x1 Broadsides
Railsides w/ SMS, 2 with velocity tracker 1 with Counterfire
>Pathfinders
2x4 pathfinders
1 unit of 1 pathfinder, 1 Shas'ui, 1 ion rifle, 2 rail rifle, in a devilfish with point defence

Officio Assassinating Detachment
>Elites
Culexus Assassin

Off the top of my head the Flyers questions has a discrepancy.
And what makes you so confident the rulings won't change at all?

1250-1850.

Anywhere in there is fun for varying reasons.

Daemons of Khorne. Add- remove stuff from this to make it good. I'm a noob.

10 cultists
10 Chaos Space Marines
3 Bikes
5 Raptors
12 Khorne Berzerkers

cheers

Did you remember to buy the knife to every tau model, except the commander?

>what makes you so confident the rulings won't change at all?

For starters, they specifically said the comment period was to gather feedback on the clarity of the rulings, not their content.

Loving the kroot.

Boo fucking hoo.
Go bitch about it somewhere else.
The agreed upon OP image has images with the chicken and without. If you can't be satisfied with that like everyone else is, then you're clearly some spoiled little brat what can't even begin to comprehend the idea that you don't get everything you want and may have to compromise, and instead resort to shitposting, essentially the internet version of holding your breath, screaming and throwing a huge fit.

If i had artistic talent I'd do one in-style, it irks me a bit.

Oh, I'm not saying that people bitching will change it, just that it's not outside of the realm of possibilities that they look over the rulings again and decide that something else is the better thing to do.

>I want you to be on fire
>You don't want to be on fire
>We'll compromise and just light you a little on fire, don't be a child

2000 can take a lot less time if everyone doesn't need to look up the rulebook every five minutes.

Why isn't Warmachine fun?

I want to get off GWs wild ride.

well some of them are even in the faq so poorly worded that it could change the effect by being properly formulated

Scout Sergeants are the same rank as every other sarge, I thought
Maybe a Veteran Assault sarge? A new Vanguard Vet?

Yes

>having a chicken in part of the OP image is comparable to being set on fire

well small scale high customization is what many tired of 40k wants.

sadly warmahordes is small scale, less choice, no customization.

Because warmachine is a wargame that's called a skirmish game but it's really just a combo game.
There's nothing to do but prepare and activate your combo. That and get hard countered.

>wanting to get off the ride just as based kevin rountree is making it fun again
Why?

Wait it wasn't fun before?
Then why were you playing it?

>just as based kevin rountree is making it fun again

I sure love paying for 10 grenades when I can only use one, seeing a superheavy on the table every time I play, and paying $35 for a codex that contains 5 units and no special equipment

>$35 for a codex that contains 5 units and no special equipment
Which one is that?

>reading thousand sons
>start to dislike the space wolves

Fuck russ

>>seeing a superheavy on the table every time I play
>7th edition rules, something made before Rountree became CEO, is his fault

That was a good book.
Psychic Warlords when?

He must be referring to Imperial Knights and tempestus scions

Indeed. Can't wait for Prospero book.

TS best legion

>buying codexes

>clarification of a rule that already existed but was exploited means that the new CEO is trying to ruin the game

Most factions novels manage that.

Temp Scion has their special taurox and rapid fire hot-shot gun.

Knighs have.. well knights and knightly stuff.

>Can't wait for Prospero book.

theres going to be a new book?

Horus Heresy book

1000, but with the option of physically hurting your opponent if he brings something cheesy.

>Ruin the game

It just means that it's going to be years until the game's in a state where it's going to be fun for me to play anymore.

Yeah, things are getting better, at least in comparison, but it's still not in a GOOD place. Superheavies are everywhere and half of the factions are just not fun to play against other factions.

I'll keep an eye on 40k, but I'd rather my dollerydoos go to a game that makes me happy and I actually look forward to playing instead of a clusterfuck of dice and bad game balance. Maybe in 8th when they've had a chance to give all of the factions a round of updates.

It took people all of 10 posts to realize I had removed chikin from the OP when I used this one. Just let it be, you are being petty.

Chickin is not 40K.
It does not belong on OP image
pls remove.

>Temp Scion has their special taurox and rapid fire hot-shot gun.
But aren't they already in the IG codex? I'm at work and haven't access to my codices.

Warmachine is a game for tourneyfags by tourneyfags.

Why does this matter to you so much? Is it worth ruining threads?

Remove chikin

What else do they have time for without a work or social life.

Guys, let's just use the image with the Kroot and move on.

Seconded.

And we're back to arguing about the image.

No, they get a unique one.

chikin lover is unreasonable. We ask what does chikin have to do with 40k. Please remove.
he then gets mad at us.

>TFW you don't care because you made most of them.

Personally i prefer the clean boring one, but the dyslexic and phonefags couldn't tell it's apart from the Roleplay general.

It's skirmish scale, the fluff is dull, and the models are ugly.

It's not fun for the same reason you play 40k instead of just chess.

1750 - nearing the size of 2k, without some of the bloat

You retards have chased away most of the legit posters. Im gone for a week, come back and see you're still arguing about trivial bullshit. You losers deserve each other. This thread isnt worth checking anymore.

kthxbai

Good, go away

Take chikin with you

And thanks for the all the chikins.

So hey, if I'm footslogging 60 Boyz and 60 Gretchin, how long do you think they'll last against most armies? Assuming those armies are non-tournament tier lists, casual only.

That'll be the core of my army, so I'm wondering how fast I'll probably lose.

how many points.

Not sure if you are the right person, but I digress.

It does not say anywhere on the FAQ (which BTW is long), that you lose objective secured if an independent character joins your unit. Where did you get this from?

2000

That´s not new, that´s how the rules have always been. FAQ are not new or changed rules, Fast Skimmers can fire 2 weapons after moving 12", but nowhere does it say embarked models can fire at full balistic skill after the vehicle has moved 12".

Give Orks one option available to another army (transport, wargear, upgrade) that balances them.

What is it?

Good luck getting it adopted by phoneposters who only like to start new threads.

Well seeing as it's not even 500 points.

Pretty fast.

Uh? never said anything of tha, I guess you're quoting the wrong person.

Dunno man, sometimes this place is likeable. I just avoid the latter hours, when Tau haters swarm this place. Last general was pretty nice.

I said core. That's not the whole army.

Fuck them, i could turn it down to a 300x300.tif and they wouldn't be able to tell.

Never played Imperial Guard before and I'm going to do it soon.

Is the vanilla Leman Russ a good option or should I go for a more especialized one?
Veterans or infantry platoons?
Basilisks, yes or no?

Mork-erlights (or possibly Gork-erlights)

There is only one guardsmen, then there is a renegade and a genestealer.

Regular Russ is for generalist work and shoudl be in squadrons, if you know what you need, take a specialist.

Vets vs. infantry is down to taste (and wallet)

Basilisks are like vanilla Russ, take them in batteries if you don't know what else to take, otherwise grab a specialist "variant"

>and they wouldn't be able to tell
That's what I mean.
I'm not saying that they'll resist the new image, I'm saying that they don't read the threads, and don't notice subtle changes in the image.
They'll be posting the older ones because they haven't updated their cellphone albums. The most resent tiled version is radically different and noticeable. Proof Kroot is a little subtle.

You're not trying to overcome stubbornness, you're trying to overcome ignorance. That's why I wished you good luck.

When I played orks I used 90 boyz and didn't have access to pain boyz, so use painboys.

We can't give you good advice if you don't tell us what you want your army to be like? Massed troops? Tanks? Mix? Artillery? Elite infantry? What? What do you want?
