Run Through The Jungle is a good one. Make sure to brush up on your firearms, particularly stuff like the M16 vs M16A1 with Failiure To Fire.
Christopher Brooks
Go watch Hamburger Hill, and The Siege of Firebase Gloria.
John Harris
You really shouldn't you fucking cancerous /tv/ memeshitter.
Jaxson Wright
Three movies to watch in order, preferably with your players.
Tigerland, Platoon, then Gardens Of Stone. Ought to get everyone set up.
Ian Turner
>It ain't me
The CCR song title is in the OP. Protip: It's not 'it ain't me.'
Bootin: Barry McGuire, Eve of Destruction
Levi Diaz
It's a shit /tv/ meme.
Xavier Cook
>see someone refer to Fortunate Son as "it ain't me" >it ain't me starts playing
Owen Wilson
My grandpa joined the Marines in '63 at the age of 18. He tells me stories all the time. It's unimaginable horror, I think. Nothing I've watched or read has ever left me more terrified.
Benjamin Thomas
Would you like to get any of those stories off you chest, user?
Names and locations changed to protect the innocent(or not innocent) of course?
Cameron King

Everything done by Garth Ennis' Punisher Max. I recommend the miniseries 'Born'.
Andrew Anderson
An excellent choice
Nicholas Davis
Not him, but it's an abstract kind of feel to hear and/or think about grandparents' war stories. My grandpa was conscripted at age of 18 in '41, and it's wierd to think that I, my father, my uncles, my siblings, would not exist if he had been an inch to the left or to the right at some point.
Michael Richardson
Chemical Warfare by the Dead Kennedys Warthog by The Ramones Atom Tan by The Clash Charlie Don't Surf, too. Pretty much whatever by The Clash actually
I recommend you to read the book "Tiger Force". It's pretty good. Detailing how an elite unit is slowly sliding into madness.
There's also the book "The Things They Carried". It's made of different short stories - some are pretty good. It was the main inspiration for the RPG called "Carry - A Game About War".
Finally, if you like vidyas there's the Vietcong collection. Decent FPS with an awesome soundtrack.
Nolan Russell
The Oliver Stone's Vietnam War trilogy is worth watching: Platoon, Born on a Fourth of July, Heaven and Earth. Casualties of War is another good movie.
Justin Green
I'd say ARVN or RFPF due to the narrow trouser cut. ROK forces tended to have baggier US style trousers.
Grayson Bennett
ARVN: Life and Death in the South Vietnamese Army, 25 year century & black april the fall of south vietnam are pretty good books on the subject and pretty easy to find online in epub form.
Jacob Baker
Maybe they shouldn't have given up North Africa so easily.
Nathaniel Thompson
Get some sabaton playing for music!
Leo Hall
More music recs:
>The Animals - Boom Boom >Spencer Davis Group - Gimmie Some Lovin'
both of those songs were used in psychological warfare campaigns against the Vietnamese
As some other anons have suggested, Project Phoenix and Tiger Force are great sources.
there's a story involving a LRRP patrol that came across and devastated an entire brigade of NVA by calling in artillery fire while fleeing into the night that sticks out in my mind
