my highest measurement put me at 13% using calipers and grabbing as much skin and fat as i can.
so how far is it off ?

This isn't Veeky Forums related but if you really want to shred fat healthily I recommend the Keto diet, minimal to no carbs, moderate protein, and high fat, your body after a week or so of this diet will stop consuming glucose for energy and will instead burn fat.
It's also good for treating epilepsy.
13% looks like a reasonable estimate, calipers will be more accurate than measuring by eye anyway.
