Reposting from previous threads: an oldschool fantasy troll obliviously taking his time (a-la "Ohh! A penny!") trudging in a greenery/grass/woods type place (think world 1 in a videogame), while in the background on an active-looking volcano (think final world in a videogame), three shadowed figures are fighting with world-endingly powerful magics. One figure shorter than the other two. The exact composition in reference image is not obligatory, it's only an example.

There were a few people curious about this characters backstory last thread, and and I'd be willing to answer any questions about her.

The campaign is winter-based, hence the parachute pants and the fur cloak. Isara has traveled north in search of answers for herself. Until recently, she had a normal life. She worked at the local bakery with her father, had a crush on the blacksmith's son, etc. She then started to have these magical powers manifest from her that she couldn't explain. Her friends would comment on how she felt ice cold to the touch and how where ever she went, bad luck seemed to follow her.

Afraid of what was happening to her, she covered up in cold weather gear and and ran away from town to travel north, where her father told her is where he met her mother. She's become very shy around people, afraid and unsure of herself due to her powers. While traveling, however, she met an arctic fox, whose outgoing nature and chipper attitude always puts her in social situations she's trying to avoid, causing her to end up in awkward situations. A surefire way to get her talking is if you bring up baking with her, and she loves it when people want try her bread.

This guy's art is really good though, I am just not entirely sure his style would fit everything my game has in it. To be honest my dream would be to have several artists doing the card art, MTG style. But that is just a dream for now.

Requesting Venom Snake in a medieval version of the armor on the top, including some of the tacticool stuff, armed with a großes messer like the one in the bottom left. Instead of his robot hand, he has the prosthetic like the bottom right. If you could make his scars a tiny bit more pronounced, it'd really help. Headband is optional.

If you're a bad enough dude to color it, I made most of my stuff in V white, so I guess black, white, and red would be cool to work in, but whatever colors you would feel would work would be fine. Thanks

well, we'd be working on fixed price contract most likely.

But arrangements would have to be made so that the artists get compensation for time spent even if the project goes under.

MTG pays 400-800 per card, from memory.
But no one is expecting a passion project user to pay those amounts.

If you're a contributing artist, nobody has any right to complain about which medium you use. is right though, as most anons come in here expecting an instant delivery of digital commission quality (unreasonably so), which is not your fault, nor should it deter you.

Not him, but why is this? As long as it's not on line/grid paper and is digitized properly (e.g. no camera flash reflection) what's the problem?

I think the level of drawfriends has risen immensely since 1-2years ago. That might pass though as current drawfriends move on with their lives.

I think you're right, but maybe only because I'm comparing a delivery I got from an artist a year ago vs a delivery I got from the same artist a few days ago and can really see the improvements.

Requesting this little girl handing a footman his bastard sword as you see a group of other footmen and militia nervously get ready for a battle. The town they are in is under siege and its not looking like they will survive. The footman is trying to comfort the girl as best she can as she is clearly scared. Background will be important to make the scene, and I do not mind if this takes a while to do. Footman on the left (Though coloring should be red not blue) Militia middle little girl right. Feel free to add a little more personality to character faces if you wish, but I will settle for mook squad background characters. Thank you for anyone who does this!

It's a really long story haha.

The tl;dr version is that my necromancer had to lie low in a town and pretend to be a priest when a massive bounty was on his head. He was asked to do burial rites for a fallen paladin after the city was set upon, and (not wanting to let the body go to waste) I raised him instead, bought him some full plate, and had myself a new servant/trap finder.

Cast the spell every day to maintain control until the DM ruled it permanent. The big joke was that whenever the party paladin picked up the skeleton (now named Toe Más) on his Divine Sense, I handwaved it as Toe Más harboring a very deep and bitter hatred for the bard.

It was a really fun campaign, lots of laughs. I went on to become the BBEG and Toe Más was my most faithful lieutenant.

Requesting character art for a valkyrie-like magical girl. If it helps, consider it a request for a teenage mage/fighter instead?

She'd wear pretty much this outfit (i.imgur.com/DbAn9kM.jpg) without the mask and maybe with winged hair ornaments instead of the hood. If you wanted to draw her with metallic, bronze-feathered wings instead of the cloak, either would be cool and fit the character.

Her hair's gunmetal/dark gray and somewhat messy, her eyes would be gunmetal gray too- she's Japanese/mixed race, and somewhat wiry. Doesn't really stand out too much in a crowd...untransformed anyway.

Personality wise, she's pretty shy-evasive in combat- but rather neurotic and twitchy. She wished to find out what happened to her friends. and she has lightning powers.

Her weapon is a fairly short handled partisan spear, like the picture. Her soul gem might be around her neck like the gem in the reference art, and have an amber color.

I'd like to put in a request for my classical adventurer-type character I'm playing. Envisioned as the guy who brings all the tools and maps to dungeoneering, with a little bit of combat skill and magic to back it up.

Basically looking for an elf in a nice coat, lugging some equipment around with him, (rope, climbing hook, torches, etc) and holding a blade and possibly some fire magic at the ready.

I'm hoping that the coat incorporates the style in the first two images, but not as flashy. Earthen colours, browns and blacks, that sort of thing. Maybe some embroidery if it fits.

It's a simple character that I've been wanting to run for a while, and now I finally can.

Requesting a dark haired, viking-looking, beggar holding a cup up with one hand while the other rests on a black blade (pic related) in his lap while sitting crosslegged. Looks well kempt and happy for a beggar.

Requesting a martyred prophet/messiah figure for my setting, the Undead Prophet, messenger of Death (the god) and figure of salvation and mercy. Long story short in my setting the life/death duality is flipped a bit on its head compared to the norm, life is evil for the god is imperfect and melancholic, and these flaws are reflected on the world. Death wished to spare the creations of Life from misery, and thus created the afterlife and gave souls to all of Life's creation to preserve their consciousness. The first prophet saw Death in a vision and wished to spread his word of hope, was burned at the stake for it. Death made him immortal so he would be unliving proof of his power and gift of salvation, and the burning prophet ripped himself from the stake as a skeleton with no flesh left at all as proof of his word.

Going counter clockwise in the ref pic, firstly a typical burning stake setup with a roaring inferno of fire obscuring most of it. As in the bottom left image, there is a skeleton heated red-hot stepping down from the stake and the roaring inferno engulfing it, unharmed by the flames.

In the bottom right pic, the glowing red skeleton is standing in a similar pose to the angel, hoisting the now melted chains that had bound him to the stake above him in triumph, looking up to the heavens. Liquid iron drips from the red-hot iron to the ground below.

Finally like in the top-right pic, behind the skeleton prophet is a medieval style halo of light behind his head. The only difference is that instead of gold, the halo is a brilliant neon green, the holy color of Death.

Could a kind drawfag draw me a picture of a sort of insect-looking humanoid guy. Bipedal, stands upright, large front-facing eyes with yellow sclera, no irises and beady pupils. With locust-like features (with a sharp-toothed, humanoid mouth), a fur coat (and generally fancy, Victorian era clothes, complete with bowler hat), lots of rings and other jewelry and the biggest shit-eating grin you can imagine while smoking a cigar.

Sorry if that request's a little too elaborate. I'm never sure if asking for too much or too little is the bigger dick move here.

Armored dude is about two heads taller than the Satyr, but other than that how the satyr looks is completely up to you.

For context, armored dude is my LG fighter and satyr is a game buddy's CN bard. They don't get along too well.

Requesting an elf rogue.

He has tanned skin with white hair, an athletic body with well defined 6 pack abs. His eyes are a shade of yellowish-orange. He's been in a number of fights and has two good scars to show for it the first is a single large scar across his upper chest, the second is a cross shaped scar that nearly cost him his left eye.

I would like the leather for his armor and belt to be a dark brown, his pants a light red, and foot wraps light brown. The wolf motif can stay silver with ruby eyes.

For his pose could he be flipping one of his twin blades into the air with his left hand, while pulling his high/wide collar down (which is high enough to cover his lower face) with his right arm far enough to show a lopsided toothy grin.

And as a final request could this be done in a character concept design showing his front and back profile? If its too much work I understand.

Looking to get a warforged assassin with four arms.

He has a deceptively thin body that allows him to move quickly but is still amazingly strong. Looks like a combination of General Grievous and this other robot. He doesn't use any weapons as his own hands can cut through armor.

As an extra could I get his disguise which is a collection of rags forming a cloak while wearing a kasa hat.

Requesting my human warlock. He is an early 20s male with short brown hair and scruffy facial hair, he has a gemmed necklace, and wears deep purple almost black robes. He should look fairly defeated and have a limp left leg as he's just been rezzed from the dead. He wields a golden war hammer that has a lion's head for the head, in his other hand a half destroyed shield with a painted sun on it. Can also add on his quasit if you'd like, usually takes the form of a frog. Thanks ahead of time if any drawfriends take it up.

I'd like to request a lamia man and his daughter.
He is well built, having broad shoulders and a wide snake-half, though looking a bit haggard and skinnier than he should be. His proportions are inhuman, having a slightly taller torso and longer arms ending in reptilian claws, and the musculature beneath would look wrong to a human. His face is also somewhat alien, his mouth being wider and his features sharper than would be on a human. His hair is a bit scraggly and wild, but kept in check with a few loose braids.
The daughter has similar features, though smoother and more human than her father. Her hair is similarly braided, though longer and better groomed. She also looks healthier and better fed than her father.
Both wear simple linen drapes, mostly covering their decency, and the father has a roll of furs tied to his tail. If you do colour, the father would have faded olive skin, golden-brown snake skin, and dark brown hair. The daughter would have pale skin, white and pale brown snake skin, and reddish brown hair.
If you could draw the daughter riding on the fathers back, or the father coiled protectively around the daughter, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance if someone wants to give it a go.

Also, if you don't mind a bit of backstory; the father was the heir in line for the throne of his land, but had a few enemies in his siblings. Before his succession, one of them kidnapped him, stuck him on a ship and dumped him on a semi-frozen island, cutting off trade routes to said island when they began ruling as regent. The father survived for years by living in a cave system with hot springs, eating whatever fish or animal wandered past, during which time he met the girl's mother, a human who took pity on him. Eventually a ship arrived, and they escaped on it, but were intercepted by pirates and separated. He now searches for the mother, while protecting and caring for his child.
