Are there any perks that would let you cancel out stupid story lines taking place in a jump entirely ? For instance lets say it turns out Captain America turns out to have been a deep cover Hydra agent all along. Before you ask no I don't know what the marvel writing staff is smoking.
Is there any perks for just undoing that particular plot point. Because certain things reach a level of stupid that the actually physically hurt.

There's a perk in Total Drama Island that lets you make it so that people's characterization won't suddenly change for no good reason. Wouldn't protect you from other dumb plot twists, but at least sudden character shifts won't happen.

Doormaker is one of the shard powers in the Worm jump. It is, rather uniquely, also a piece of equipment you can buy in that jump in the form of the Dimensional Breach Controller (which is canon, portal tech comparable to Doormaker's abilities exists in that setting, even if it's very rare and limited up until the end of the story). So you can get whatever shard you want on top of Doormaker's abilities through the DBC, which you either keep somewhere secure or integrate into your body through a technology-absorption power.

Medusa head from Castlevania I'm planning on adding them to a Jumping puzzle with lava where gravity increases as the lava rises and decreases as the lava lowers from 1/36 to 2X the ceiling and sides of platforms will have ceramic mechanical spikes thrusting in and out of them at regular intervals only tops of platforms are safe jumping made more difficult by changes in gravity.

That's not how human beings work. Persuasion has three main elements; appeal to emotion, appeal to reason, and appeal to authority/credibility.

You can't convince human beings of basically anything they weren't already sure of or going to do unless you have all fucking three, or are at least good at pretending.

Red Skull has no fucking credibility, arguably strong appeals to emotion, and as reasonable as the things he might say in that panel may be, his conclusions, goals, and calls to actions don't follow logically from their premise.

Marvel is too fucking caught up in their own emotions to see though what people who disagree with them are saying beyond their emotional appeals, and are basically incapable of turning their opposition into villains without turning them into flagrant retards.
