This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a twelve year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.
>Rules
At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.
In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins
Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.
Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process
You tell Oolong and Bulma to run while you keep Goku distracted.
"Kid, that's crazy!" Oolong tells you. "He'll eat you alive!"
"No way!" Bulma tells you. "There's no way you can take him!"
You let go of her hand and turn to face Goku. Like your mother, you yell, wave your arms, and run to draw the creature's attention.
With a roar, Goku gives chase.
You run as fast as you can, trying to get the monster as far from the others as possible. But you know it will catch up before long. You can't run forever.
>A. Turn and attack
>B. Fire a Kamehameha at it
>C. Try to hit it in the face with a Kamehameha
>D. Keep running until it catches you

Do we still have Yamcha's sword? Use that to cut his tail off.
Jackson Flores
You do, but you have no way of knowing that his tail is his weakness.

>B. Fire a Kamehameha at it
John Cook
Then shoot the fucking moon with the kamehameha.
Jaxon Kelly
Yeah, your Kamehameha wouldn't reach that far, and even if it could, it wouldn't be strong enough.
James Jenkins
Would it hurt him more if he got us closer to his mouth and we fired a kamehameha down his throat?
Would the dc be higher or lower then just hitting him?
Alexander Gomez
You spin as the creature comes barreling after you, holding your hands toward it and cupping them together.
"Ka....me....." you begin, bringing your hands to your side and focusing. "Ha....me....."
The beast gets closer, and you leap into the air, thrusting your palms toward its face.
"HA!"
Your blast hits its target, but it doesn't seem to do much. The beast pauses and lets out a roar, its face turning red with anger as it raises a massive fist.

Goku roars and slams his fist down on the ground, but before it makes its impact, you charge forward and roll between the great ape's legs.
As Goku looks around in confusion, trying to figure out where you went, you dash behind him and grab him by the tail, attempting to spin and throw him.
He's heavier than you expected. You can't throw him, and you expect that he's about to crush you. But, instead, he slumps forward onto his knees, supporting his upper body with his fists on the ground.
He growls, but it's far weaker and less intimidating than the roaring he was doing just a moment ago.

Or you could discount the samefag that's trying to push B. I'll repeat myself: >SIX VOTES >SIX UNIQUE POSTERS
Do you see how the math is working there?
Cooper Morales
Oh....god I feel stupid.
Nathaniel Hernandez
You squeeze harder on Goku's tail, and he lets out a whine and falls forward, ending up face-down in the sand.
You think you've found his weakness.
You have an opportunity, here. You have the monster that killed your parents helpless in front of you. You could keep hold of his tail with one hand, and take out Yamcha's sword with the other.
You could kill the thing that killed your mom and dad.
>A. Kill Goku
>B. Keep him restrained
James Jones
>B. Keep him restrained
Jacob Jenkins
>B. Keep him restrained
Elijah Brown
>B. Keep him restrained Vengeance solves nothing. Maiming Goku once he transforms back might.
Leo Foster
You dismiss the thoughts of hurting Goku. It won't bring back your parents, and Goku is your friend. He's been nice to you longer than anyone else in your little group.
But, what can you do now? He's stopped for now, but how long can you keep him like this? And how can you change him back?
Goku continues to groan, but another sound catches your attention.
Looking up into the sky, you see a plane heading right for you and your friend. You can guess who owns it, and a moment later you're proven right.
"You may have taken my Dragonballs!" A voice shouts from the plane. "But now you will see what happens when you make Emperor Pilaf mad!"
That thing probably has guns on it. With Goku unable to defend himself, he could die.
>A. Let Goku's tail go and run like hell
>B. Let go of Goku's tail, and see if you can hit the plane with a Kamehameha
>C. Something else

>B. Let go of Goku's tail, and see if you can hit the plane with a Kamehameha

You release Goku's tail, and the massive ape pushes himself back up, roaring in fury and furiously stomping on the ground.
You leap out of the way to avoid being crushed, and Pilaf's plane swerves to avoid the mad monster.
The sound of the plane seems to temporarily turn Goku's attention away from you, and he swats at the airborne vehicle, barely missing it as it zips by.
You try to prepare a Kamehameha Wave, but it's so high up and moving so fast, you doubt that you'd hit it.
Goku begins giving chase to the aircraft, which turns around and lets loose a flurry of bullets that strike your friend in the face. He roars in anger and leaps at the plane, attempting to crush it between his powerful hands and barely missing.
A fly buzzes by your head, and a moment later you're staring at Oolong, who watches the fight between Pilaf and Goku with wide eyes.
"Oh, man, I honestly don't know who to root for here," he admits before looking at you. "He's distracted, come on, let's go!"
>A. You aren't leaving Goku
>B. Ask if there's a way for Oolong to get to that plane
>C. You saw Puar turn into a flying carpet earlier, ask Oolong if he can do the same so you can get a shot at that plane

You turn and run with Oolong, listening to the sound of bullets firing, and the roar of Goku in the background as they continue their little fight.
You find Bulma waiting not too far away, and she urges you and Oolong to hurry up so you can all get out of there.
As the three of you start running, however, you hear Goku roar again. Not in anger, but in pain.
You look over your shoulder to see your friend fall to the ground, not moving.
Bulma and Oolong stop, staring back in absolute disbelief as Pilaf's plane circles your fallen friend.
"Goku...." Bulma cries, tears in her eyes.
The plane circles him a few more times before flying in your direction.

Good going anons, we're completely fucked now.
Gavin Wright
He's not dead. Just in pain.
Gavin Morris
You ask Oolong if he can turn into a flying carpet.
"What, why?" he asks.
You explain that you saw Puar do it earlier, and that you want him to get you high enough to take out that plane with a Kamehameha. You know you have enough energy for one more.
"Alright, kid, here goes nothing!" he says.
There's a loud noise, accompanied by a puff of smoke, and a flying carpet hovers in front of you. You jump on, ignoring Oolong's shouting to watch the face. He lifts you into the air, and you watch the plane approach as you cup your hands at your side and prepare the attack.
The plane begins firing, and you leap off Oolong, avoiding the bullets as you thrust your hands toward the plane.
"HA!"
A blue beam of energy shoots from your palms, hitting the plane and causing the front of it to catch fire.
It quickly falls from the sky and crashes somewhere in the distance, but now you have another problem.
You're up pretty high and falling fast.
You watch Oolong fly under you, and at the last moment he turns into a mattress, allowing you to land without hurting yourself.
Oolong returns to normal, rubbing his back and grumbling.
>A. Thank him
>B. Go to Goku

"Thanks, Oolong!" you shout to the pig as you take off toward Goku.
"Yeah, you're welcome...." he grumbles as he keeps rubbing his back.
You move as fast as you can, reaching your fallen friend before long. His eyes are closed, and he remains completely still. You can hear that he's still breathing, however, so you know he's alive, just hurt.

You pull out the sword you took from Yamcha, approaching Goku and standing at his tail. Other than that extra appendage, he looks like a normal kid. Maybe it has something to do with why he transformed.
You swing the sword down and sever Goku's tail.
The monster begins to shrink, and its features become more human, until an unconscious, naked Goku is lying on the ground in front of you.
You put the sword away and let out a sigh of relief.
Bulma and Oolong come running over, seeing that Goku's back to normal.
"Wow, nice job, little buddy," Oolong tells you. "I thought we were goners for sure."
"We almost were," Bulma says, before whirling on you. "And don't ever do anything stupid like that again! I thought you were going to get yourself killed!"

"Were you worried about me?" you ask Bulma.
"Of course I was, you idiot!" she shouts at you.
Oolong clears his throat. "So, uh, we have a naked kid here."
Bulma sighs, taking off the jacket part of her outfit and putting it over the sleeping Goku, who looks quite peaceful now.
Bulma gives him a little smile as she stands back up.
"Hard to believe this little kid turned into that big monster," Oolong comments.
Bulma nods. "And we can't tell him he's the one who killed his Grandpa, it would just break his little heart."
"Well, what about Tofoo?" Oolong asks, glancing over at you. "He lost his parents. Shouldn't he get a say in what we tell Goku?"

Landon Barnes
"That monster wasn't Goku," you tell them. "And I'm not blaming Goku for what it did."
Bulma nods, then sighs. "Well, at least you know what happened."
"Not exactly how I'd like to learn," Oolong comments. "So, now what?"
"Well, I have an airship in one of my dynocaps," Bulma says. "I can fly us all out of here. Then we can meet up in a year to search for the Dragonballs again."
"Why that long?" Oolong asks. "Why don't we start looking when the kid wakes up?"
"Once you make a wish, the Dragonballs turn to stone for a full year," Bulma explains. "You wouldn't even be able to tell what they were until a year has passed."
"Great," Oolong grumbles. "So, what do we do until then?"
"Well, I'm going back to West City," Bulma says. "I live in a big place. You guys could stay with me."
>A. Thanks, but you and Goku told Master Roshi you'd train with him once you found the Dragonballs

Adrian Morales
>A. Thanks, but you and Goku told Master Roshi you'd train with him once you found the Dragonballs But since we don't really have anywhere else to go, we may end up taking her up on the offer at some point.
Alexander Smith
You thank her, but tell her that you and Goku told Master Roshi you'd go train with him.
"Well, alright, but I still expect to see you in a year," Bulma tells you. "We did have a deal after all."
You remember, and tell her that you'll keep your promise. You also add that it'll be nice to have someone you can count on in the city.
Bulma smiles.
The sun comes up, and Goku sits up with a yawn.
"Good morning," he says with a smile.
He stands, and Bulma's jacket falls off him. He looks down in confusion.
"Where are my clothes?" he asks.
Bulma convinces Oolong to give him some clothes, and soon Goku's running around in suspenders, tripping every few steps.
"That's funny," Goku comments to himself. "Why can't I stand up straight."

"Fine, I guess," he answers. "I don't know why I can't stand up right."
You ask if he remembers anything from last night.
"We made a wish, and we talked about a monster, then I went to sleep," Goku sums up.
You guess that answers the question of how much control Goku had over himself while he was that monster.
He takes a few more steps, then falls over again, pushing himself up with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Kid, you gotta practice walking without your tail," Oolong tells him.
"Why would I need to do that?" Goku asks, reaching back and pausing when he can't find his tail. "Oh no, my tail's gone! It must have run away! Come back, tail!"
Goku runs off to look for his tail, stumbling every few steps. Bulma and Oolong walk over to you.
"Keep an eye on him, okay?" Bulma asks you. "I'll be seeing you in a year."
