The author really needs to give more points, I dont mind the increased difficult, but getting the entire world on your ass in exchange for a level 20 power is not going to work unless you go Cauldron every time.

With Kill order and S9 flaws no hero team is going to take you because they are too busy killing you, no villain is going to want the heat that you will bring no matter what kind of power you have, either you go mobile like the S9 or you go cauldron.

Or you can can take a low level power and get killed by Scion in the golden morning.

It depends on the individual. Some people hate WIP, some people are cool with it up to a point, and some people are always happy to see WIPs.

I'm between the latter two camps. Sometimes I can look at WIP after WIP, but sometimes I just wish the Author would simply finish it. It depends on the frequency for me.

I don't care either way, but constant WIP's tend to annoy people.

Now that I have replies, it's box tiem. Please don't read before making your build, the CYOA's hints are pretty good to be honest.

It really depends on how they do it. If it takes them 5 posts to get to the first "playable" version, they're doing it wrong. If they start with a playable version and edit to clarify/extend/patch holes that's better.

Suggestions on class abilities would be welcome. I'm in particular having difficulties for the warrior. They're going to be very general skills, e.g. one of the warrior's will be mastery over any melee weapon.

The passives here are inherent to the class, by just picking it you get it. I tried to make them synergistic with others.

Well it does say they're like hammer hardened iron. Coriaceous is not quite the right term I think then.

My First Century plan revolves around renovating the Traditions of the Sect, understanding new human technologies and the risk they pose to those of the Clan, and the upholding of the Masquerade. I'm assuming that I can speak the language of the pirates even without Exotic Scriptures as otherwise Disguise and Secret Identity are kinda pointless.

I plan to do this with less sneaking and more disguise. Pretend to be a local who wants to go and join their crew. Learn what we need to sink them to the bottom of the sea.

Water Jutsu + Any of the Breath holding ones feels a bit too cheesy a combo. It should likely be amended to be one of the 'You can't do it simultaneously' ones to prevent 10 min time stop beatdowns. Either that or amendment that you can't affect stuff while timestopped.

You know, if everyone is supernaturally gifted then no one truly is.

The lesser races (those not blessed by the Gift) are not. The primary enemy in the CYOA is not superhuman (except the leaders).

And not everyone is trained to use the Gift for combat or battle. Very few people out of the entire population are combat-ready.
