There's not a section about the king, but the entry on Power Seekers explains him a tad bit. Or did you mean of Verend? That king is more mysterious.

I was trying to be as implicit as possible so that your imagination can fill in the blanks there. But as far as "easy to get away with," no one is going to question the private lives of people that can kill souls. That's like asking for trouble.

Depends on what you prefer. You have varied lengths, varied genres.

My favorite CYOAs are rather large and often power fantasies, which take some time reading and making builds for.

So I just got a 9 but nothing seems to have changed yet. Does this CYOA take a while to have an effect?
