You analyze their wave signature, produce an anti-wave, and allow it to neutralize the being.

You have to find a way to seal it away, like the shadow in Wheel of Time.

Get it a McDonalds combo.
Bye bye energy.

Punch it til it dies.

Channel their energy into the reactor core of a ship designed to create an enormous matter energy conversion and make a new planet.

Entropy

>Pure energy
It's made of new wave-y, hippie dippy, lazing writing copout? Kill it by making it get a job.

reverse the polarity

Use it as a battery. In my opinion, it's the most productive way.

That's the same way they killed Don Bluth's career.

desu counter picking and/or ganking is a pretty solid choice. Outfarming always gets the trick done though desu

Hit it harder

A being of pure mass x velocity?

It's unstoppable.

> "Usually on the show, they came up with a complicated plan, then explained it with a simple analogy."
> "Hmmm... If we can re-route engine power through the primary weapons and configure them to his frequency, that should overload his electro-quantum structure."
> "Like putting too much air in a balloon!"
> "Of course! It's all so simple!"

You transfer all of its energy to an iPhone and then deplete it by downloading and installing 1 app.

...

Fire the opposite kind of energy at it.

Teleport it to the plane of positive energy

Teleport it to the plane of negative energy

Polymorph it into a kitty cat

Feed it to a demon/God for power

Hire Harry Dresden.

...

I install a properly grounded lighten rod.

Dad?

unplug it

Cross the streams

You put it in a box of pure matter.

>being of pure energy
as opposed to?

what the fuck is anything made of that isn't energy?

Well, whatever you do about it, it doesn't matter.

Find the holy grail.

>a box of pure matter

THEN IT ISNT A FUCKING BOX ITS A GOD DAMN CUBE

Depends on how this being exists. If you think about it, a (presumably non-corporeal) being of pure energy would either

a) Have to be constantly replenishing its energy, as energy doesn't just stay together on its own (unless we're talking about stars or something similar) or

b) It has some kind of device that keeps itself together.

In the first case, all you need to do is trap or contain it so it runs itself dry, or distract/tank it for the same reason. In the second, rely on your boss fight instincts and smash the thing that keeps it together.

Start a chain reaction

> "Like a balloon and... Something bad happens!"

you hit it with energy. or matter.

"how do i kill a being of matter?"
"try pointy sticks. or blunt sticks. or fire. pretty much just hit it with anything until it stops moving"

turns out same principle still pretty much applies

Harness the energy, convert it into some other kind of energy.

Even if it's just kinetic energy, by making it spin a little motor.

Would that be roughly analogous to stringing a person into a wire?

find something hungerier then it is powerful.. chaos netural charecter... a lamp... a sacrifical vessel to store it's essence and destroy it...

Best Superman.

you plug it into your moms vibrator

>Oh boy what's this thread gonna be-
>Xenosaga post
>Suddenly remember Episodes 4, 5, and 6 will never happen

T-thanks user

Stick your dick in it.

I heard you like fun...

Disperse it.

Air and liquids are matter

Watch Titan A. E

consult this man

Apply liquid nitrogen (if the energy is heat), stick a wire into it (if it's electricity). What other kinds of energy can it be?

food is energy, mate

kinetic

how do you fight an earthquake?

You play zed

Battle of attrition, wear that fucker out. At the very least if he uses too much energy he will run away.

As a former Xerath main, I never had problems with Zed.

I'm bronze though, so I've probably only played against shit Zeds.

plug in a hot plate, air conditioner, or hair dryer

Energy weapons.

It should work, my gun shoots bullets made of matter and it was designed to kill things made of matter.

according to my this handy mass-energy conversion table ( labs.minutelabs.io/Mass-Energy-Scale/ ), the amount of energy required to create a new planet (earth sized) would be 5-ish orders of magnitude larger than the energy output of all the stars in the milky way in one second. does this align with whatever happened in that movie ?

Nigga you lock in zed, wait till level 6, frantically smash your face into the keyboard, spam laugh

With an ocean.

or any assassin with a gapcloser really

Leblanc, talon, fizz

Give it the interdimentional rift, it will go away, I promise.

rubber.

>Pure speed force
God they're running out of shit to do.

Ish. They sucked an entire race of energy creatures including their ships which were also made of energy into the device and shot it out of a cannon and formed a new earth. I believe it was called Bob.

Rechargeable batteries

that'll probably do it, maybe. how does a race like that exist in the first place? considering the things you just said, it's most likely really really soft sci-fi, right?

depends on the type of energy, but generally id say put it in a vacuum- remove all the air out of its locality and it should dissipate

It's a Don Bluth film, so it's the softest and fluffiest of Sci-fi. More Sci-fantasy really.

Kill it with a being of purer energy.

Pull out the plug

by transforming it

...

I'm sure he won't mind sharing some of his being. My batteries are running low.

That is a very elemental fact.

>5-ish orders of magnitude larger than the energy output of all the stars in the milky way in one second

You can get around low power by applying it on a long time scale; 10^5 seconds is only a bit more than one day. So by operating for a century, you have at least 10^7 seconds in which to provide the same amount of energy.

unplug the cord

The same way you kill a person, shoot it till its torn apart, you cant function if none of your parts are connected.

perform dark and forbidden rituals to summon a being of pure entropy to fight it.

Let Entropy take its course.

I'm sorry user. I didn't mean to hurt you but considering what they did with 2 and 3 it's better this way. I say this even as a die hard faggot for the Xeno-verse

>We will never get the continuing adventures of Space Jesus and Robot Mary Magdalene

Thermodynamics.

Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow

Turning into pure kinetic energy is an old thing on the Flash comics though, it's there since the 90s at least Barry dies like that at the end of the CotIE

IIRC the background lore on Titan AE was that the reason the Drej attacked earth in the first place was because the matter-energy conversion tech that would power the Titan was the same kind of thing that created the Drej in the first place, and seeing this they saw that it could either revitalize them as a species or wipe them out completely.
They chose to think it would to the latter, and were right because of it.

Dammit, I was going to post that. I felt so clever.

AKA. How many times doe I have to hit the rewind button until you make up your damn mind?!

Blow it up?

Plug a bunch of uncharged phones into it

>disliking 3
2 is only playable for the story, I'll admit, but 3 was great.

I admit I'm being picky but I just think there was some things they could have done better. Namely not making Allan just a punching bag and a running gag considering the situation between him and Shion and Kevin.

I mean Allen didn't have to be a manly man or anything but definitely have his place in the sun. because the dude did kill a Gnosis with his goddamn hands how can he not get anything special at all going for him?

THIS.

In the end, Allen's character development was absolutely spectacular, how it was always slowly happening and then finally all came together, but if he was his own playable character in 3, it would have made a lot more sense when he finally mans up in front of Kevin. I think 3 was rather rocky in the beginning, because A Missing Year happened in between 2 and 3, and Shion leaving Vector didn't really make sense at first. I'd say the game got a lot better with Rennes-le-Chateau and after.

The main problem is whatever the hell happened at Monolith between 1 and 2 that screwed everything up in the first place.

Though I can't call 2 a bad game, cause I still loved it. The prologue on Old Miltia I loved, I just felt it did a great job of setting up the whole game's events, and the fact that Sweet Song is the same as the opening theme is something I enjoy. After that 2 was a slog for me until Old Miltia, after which I loved everything that happened.

I thought the game was about to be over after Old Miltia, but then the Omega System popped out. Sergius was almost reciting Nietzsche as he rants about society. Then he's going on about how you can't beat him, then the Testaments show up and one-shot him while telling the supporting actors to exit the stage. The stuff between Jr. and Albedo was great too, and the ending is one of the greatest hooks I've encountered.

I wish what was originally planned had happened, but I'm still alright with what 2 and 3 turned out to be.

tfw they'll never finish the whole story that was planned, including a Xenogears remake

Jesus christ my dick would fucking explode if they said they were remaking Xenogears

It was less matter energy conversion, more transmutation. They used a freakishly dense asteroid field made of mostly ice as raw materials.

They just consumed the Dredge as energy to fuel the transmutation process.

I'm not supposed to talk to Strangers.

Not really fair, considering that at the peak of his power he's the most powerful character in fiction.

The worst part about that is that it sounds plausible.

Cast fist until it stops moving.

You don't kill it. You harness it and use it to power things. You name him Tesla.

It doesn't matter

Pull the plug

don't pay the bill

Faraday cage

I wanted to fuck you student as a child.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

So...once then?
