Does your character exercise?

Does your character exercise?

>three or more fights a day
>6 to 8 hours walking on dirt roads with >100lbs of gear and loot
>strength 12, constitution 14

Does this count?

Let's get to bashing butts

As well as DEES NUTZ

He's a lich so no.

But he makes sure his living apprentice keeps in good shape. Just because one goes around raising the skeletons doesn't mean they need to look like one.

>29 STR
>14 CON
>Endurance Feat
>13th level Warlord

My character is the only character that puts time aside to perform physical activity that doesn't come through battle or adventures.

My DM has a shorthand homebrew for exercise that granted my character Endurance for free. Despite having piss CON, I've had him actively doing training for HP so my character is the closest to his potential maximum health.

For gains? No, mostly because there's not a rule for that in the system and results can only happen so quickly. As far as "burning a damn good chunk of calories via doing scientific-definition work"? Definitely, they get antsy if they have to hunker down in the same place for more than a few days, and lazing around makes them question what their life of wilderness survival training was for if they can just sit around all day with a stocked pantry and enough money to buy food for the rest of their lives.

No.
His power is proportional to his ego.

>strength domain cleric of the strength god
It's literally part of my prayers in the morning.

You don't need gains when you're a bear

Yes indeedy doo. We get to decide how we spend time between campaign arcs, or when traveling long distances. Sometimes we have to trade off how long we take or what bonuses we get. So we can travel faster, or go slower and study or exercise each day. Or we can train up vs. Socializing, but maybe you'll meet a merchant at a party who will give you a discount, or go hunting with a minor noble that can provide information or access to places and events.

We also roll to see how effective the time spent is because we're whores for randomization.

So sometimes we get a +1 for a stat, or saves, or a bonus to initiative. Maybe we hurt ourselves and have a malus, or lose big gambling.

Once our Paladin ended up with an enamoured young novice Cleric of the same faith following us which resulted in an escort mission once we caught him and we had to decide what to do with him.

No big plot with him, the Pally just wanted to spend time teaching about his encounters and critted on his charisma roll, and our DM rolled low for who he impressed.

no he has max strength why would he need to grind strength points

No. He's an android, so he has no muscles.

>Worshiping at the Iron Church.

No, she's a fatty mexican who lives in North Carolina.

She does but it's unclear if it actually affords her any benefit, since her biology is complicated.

No, it's an astromech. It leaves the heavy lifting to the meatbags.

I sorta have to as part of membership in the Guts & Glory guild.

Not intense, still tiring.

Yeah, stretches and flies laps around things every morning. Also, he is usually flying.

Every.
Damn.
Day.

Gotta stay on top of that shit.
Gotta stay fast.
Gotta stay in shape.
Gotta take time to think.
Gotta stave of death.
Gotta counter the bad habits.

My EP character is so much better than I am.
Except for his constant drinking.

>OP just wanted an excuse to post the latest moe trash

>tg indulges him

Honestly, I saw the gif and it made me wonder about my character, and I also thought it would be interesting to hear what other people had to say on the topic. I don't even know what show it's from, and, honestly, I likely won't get around to watching it because it doesn't look all that interesting.

To be utterly honest, I also think Veeky Forums could use a bit more relaxed and spontaneous threads.

>Honestly, I saw the gif and it made me wonder about my character

Yes. My character thinks that anyone that willingly stops themselves from being strong and capable is trash.

As do I.

I'm in the middle of designing a character for a "big" game. Everything makes me wonder about what my character might do.

>continuing to lie

>complains about moe trash
>posts Umaru

the lady doth protest too much, methinks

... I'm an apple and yam loving weaboo who wants to spread the good word about exercise and vitamin C.

She shoves massive amounts of greasy, fatty foods down her gullet approximately 13 hours a day while she builds her robots, working underneath her car and trolling the Matrix for new Trids. However, despite her mostly sedentary lifestyle, the massive amount of Rip-Its and Jazz she ingests basically means that her heart will stop if it drops below 180 beats per minute. Her body is completely trashed, and had she not been shot in the head, she would have dropped dead by 30.

So no, not a whole lot of bending and stretching for this one.

I think a better question is "does your character remember not to skip leg day?"

Ones an adteomech robot so he doesn't have to, and the other's a flesh wizard so he doesn't have to either.

>proportional to his ego
Oh my god

It's you!

Dirk Kick'em

Oh yes, we do exorcise.

What'cha gonna do about it nerd?

Not my character, but we have a half giant monk who is in the process of making a gym called "The gym of the colossus." He even has little business cards that he randomly gives to people along his adventure. Im genuinely curious how many of those people will show up at the gym, cause at this point he must have given at least a hundred cards out by now.

She is an air force pilot so of course that needs to get fit

Absolutely nothing.
