Right, I'll just get this out of the way now: But how does he smell?

I have a question for digger about the neo heisei jump if he shows up. Can I use plug n play to replace a persons soul with an equally powerful source? I was thinking of replacing the souls of necrons with masses of energy I get from my magic or hunks of warp energy.

Terrible.

That pun is shit and so are you.

A new thread?
I'LL STEAL IT NO ONE WOULD EVER KNOW!

I have no nose and i must sneeze.

Is are jumps anything other than a part of Jump Chan's great waifu/husbando building game?

Necrons don't have souls, man. There's nothing to replace.

>pastebin.com/TBbY3Sfa
looks decent, expected more “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” Now I know I'm not the best at this but considering you give up your abilities for them and you only get 500 per scenario RP should be at least triple the value of CP, which seems OP and unlikely also as presently worded you would even lose things like body mod, warehouse access and skills you've trained in, was this intentional? What about stuff you've made with warehouse parts in Kamen Rider jumps? I went pure science for the first two, and the Kamen Rider Neo-Heisei Part 1 jump itself doesn't seem to have anything that actually makes you better at fighting other than gear.

What?

They used to have souls. Now they do not. That is why I was thinking if I could replace that blank empty region with some equally powerful magic warp stuff it may equal out.

don't fret I'm pretty sure
is just that AI that shows up now and again

To what end, though?

AI have better grammar than I do.

Making them less gloomy.

No, they never had souls. A Necron isn't the same thing as a Necrontyr. It's just a pale imitation of one. You wouldn't be replacing the soul of a thing that had lost it, you'd be putting a soul into something that was never intended to have one.

I'm not a 40k guru, but I suspect something called "Necron" is going to be gloomy no matter what you jam in its soul hole.

Which dragon is it that gives you a higher caster level than its CR?

What if I used the heart of a child?

it'd probably just rot

Children can be gloomy trust me on this.

Do you want a gloomy child Necron sulking in its room all day?

No that wouldn't be useful at all.

All this just adds to my growing belief that the 40k verse is a shithole that cannot bebimproved in any way.

Is there a Men in Black jump?

It can be improved if you buy that printer thing from the emperium jump. Just slap all the tech you have gained in your entire chain into a empyrium approved storage device and act like you found a lost archive of golden age technology PRAISE THE EMPEROR!

Hay Bancho, I have a PS238 question if you don't mind.
If I was going speedster and took Miscellaneous Meta, would it be ok to have the three powers be super speed, fast thinking/reflexes so I can actually do things with that speed, and proportionate durability like in the X-Men jump?
And if that is acceptable how fast would I be starting out?

So basically take what you can in 40k and leave as soon as possible and use it for your own goals. Sounds like a plan most jumpers do.

yes to that power combination and about 300 miles an hour, topping out at around 900, if you are really going for speed remember that you can take it multiple times to have it stack with itself

As others have pointed out they likely just plain lack a slot for it. Now what you should really be thinking about is Xtreme Tessaracts or Shard Drivers (might have to do something like Meteor's off site beaming though).

Actually the opposite. Give the Emperium of Man all the tech it could ever need from outside settings while making it look like emperor approved tech.

Make sure the first thing they see is a way to get the golden skeleton off his toilet and back walking around.

youtube.com/watch?v=fUvEyclQjdI
No one has ever made a Men in Black jump, what you thought you saw was just a weather balloon that crashed into swamp gas.

Realm of Myths from the Civilization jump makes able to 'seduce the wind or tickle a mountain'.

Could you waifu the Warp with this?

>Xtreme Tessaracts or Shard Drivers
You lost me.

that is one of the worst plans I've heard in these threads and I've been here since around thread 45

>Give the Emperium of Man all the tech it could ever need from outside settings while making it look like emperor approved tech.
>Giving advanced human/possibly xeno tech to xenophobic frantic to a corpse of a person on a golden toilet who regular are against use of xeno or technology not sanctioned by the Adeptus Mechanicus.
There is nothing that can ever go wrong with this plan.

Wow if Bancho says it's a bad plan it must be bad.

As in swapping out C'Tan Shards and late game powerup items.

It really isnt. Remember a guy wanted to use it to waifu the abyss in mage.

But if you use the printer it gets the official seal of approval.

I must've missed that one and I grant you that is a worse idea but that doesn't make seducing a place where thought, energy. matter and emotion are in distinct from one another which is ruled by the fucking chaos Gods any the better of an idea.

IIRC, in the grim darkness of the far future there is only war. It does kinda wear its heart on its sleeve.

Just because it's created using mechanicus tech doesn't mean it's sanctioned tech.

Thank you, one more question. How about a Taiwanese knockoff Mentat power? Super intelligence, fast computation, and thinking about several different things at once?

>STC Printer 800CP: A device roughly the size of an Office Copier, can take any schematic and convert it into the Standard Template Construct format used by Ad-Mech, or create copies of existing STCs for dissemination. Instructions will be converted to use Imperial manufacturing systems when possible. Forge Worlds tend to guard STCs jealously, so copying rarer schematics may piss off a few important people.

May not be a good idea at first but I for one would like to see what the toasters would do with halo tech, starwars tech, or even animorph tech.

super intelligence is its own power, check out the Alpha-technological skill, that includes fast computation. The last one is pretty much going to be disassociative identity disorder and I'm not sure you want that.

>animorph tech
Not that user, but that reminds me.
I gotta get my hands on that Pemalite crystal when I go there.

Binbougami ga!

Sort of only took a capstone in this one out of a feeling of obligation and because it directly affects one of the other perks. Went for Drop-In due to the increase in chi stuff + some redundancy for Wuxia's Ghost Cutter.

No Valley Low lets me to easily trick people into thinking I'm a good guy. Useful perk for someone morally ambiguous that likes to hang out with protagonists.

Temple of Thought is a ki/chi/lifeforce combiner, don't have as much of that stuff as I could (as I'll nearly always choose more fun stuff over it) but after you get over like 100 builds you'll always have at least one or two sources of it and I've got a whole bunch even without really speccing for it.

A Song for the Hopeless makes me a minor bad luck god, not sure what this even does as I have no idea what this setting is. Something about sucking bad luck out of people? I guess that's a good thing. That and cat summoning. Set myself up as a sort of trickster anyway so this seems up my alley even if I don't really know what it does.

Used an import as Leeroy gets imported enough that he's also got a bunch of ki sources. Better yet he gets a free perk that means people will attack him before they go for me which is a useful trait in a bodyguard. Poor old Leeroy.

Infinite Cake was chosen over the arguably more practical Scouter probably because I'm pretty hungry at the moment.

Banchou Outfit is free and apparently gives me some sort of costume that makes me look hard.

Should probably stop losing my memories in settings I don't know anything about. Got to admit I do always find the idea of Leeroy dragging me into the warehouse to put on a 'you're a jumper!' video to be pretty funny.

>Animorph tech
>now the Imperials can really let their Emperor down and now become the very xeno's they seek to destroy
That'd be really funny

Fair enough. I thought Alpha-technological only gave you knowledge, not super intelligence and fast computation too. Thanks again.

>what if I used the heart of a child.

it makes you a genius who can do and design the kind of things you would need to be a gadget based superhero, sorry if that was not clear

Thanks for the new ringtone.

Something something CAVE! Something something BOX OF SCRAPS!

well maybe not that far but teenager devising a new adhesive polymer/elastic and a unique sprayer for it in his bedroom in three nights isn't too far off

Better have metavore.

It finally happened, /jc/.

You took one drawback too many, bothered someone too strong, or simply tripped down the stairs in some non-powered jump. Now you're back in this world, and the game ends, with all your possessions, powers, companions, plus a thank-you letter from Jumpchan itself.

What's your first reaction?

Two updates inbound. Here’s the first.

Dragon’s Crown v. 1.1

Changelog:
>Classes:
>>All classes are free now, not just Fighter.

>Perks:
> Epic,uhhh…Proportions?
>>Now allows you to spend as much as you want to “enhance” the particularities of your physical appearance. First free purchase nets you a boost to put you on par with the DC MC’s, additional purchases are if you feel the need to go above and beyond that. No cap, 50CP per purchase after your first taste.

Second update for the day.

Dragonlance v. .95a

Changelog:
>Editing. Tons of editing for dropped phrases, clunky wording, tense use, random key mashes, etc.

>Items
>1 discounted item per 600CP skill clarified

>Drawbacks
>Ocular Angst 0CP – Clarified
>Irisony 100CP – Added

>Notes
>>What Price Power? – Added

Honestly, it’s embarrassing how ugly that doc was last release. It should read better now, but point out anything that’s clunky please.

Welp time to crack open the walls of the universe and start my new adventure with magic and science!

Order some food, break out the brews, light up the chalice, and watch Twin Peaks.

I'll get to everything else tomorrow.

Dubs confirmed

1,600 CP into Epic Proportions.

Wizardio, my good mageman.

>filename
But which is which?

"Fuck, that was a dumb way to die."

Following that I guess I go out and institute Culture-lite with all of my advanced technology.

>Notes
>>What Price Power? – Added

That is unpossible to complete. What kind of sadist are you?

youtube.com/watch?v=dNW5Hd_2HC4

> No cap on Epic Proportions

Suicide.

Hilarious. Guess I'll throw the 100 cp freed up by that into Moar Epic Proportions.

Looks good. Not able to finish it quite yet now, but have the first part.

>40000 Things I Hate About You
Rewards: +400cp, Friends Like These
Artifactory [400] Imma build ALL the Crazy Magic Shit. This is going to be Great.

The Balance is shattering, Takhisis lies dead, her heart pierced with a Dragonlance enhanced by a wealth of immortality-killing power.
The GRAND DECEPTION is starting to come undone.
Swathes of Dragons bow before me. A fourth faction has arisen from neutrality to Chaos.
...
the Gem. The GEM. It SINGS TO ME and I shall find it. Mwahahahaha!
I shall find it and it shall be shattered.
I shall find it and free chaos
I shall find it and war with the Gods
I shall find it and serve CHAOS
I shall find it and use its shards to create a mosaic. It shall look like a orange and pink frog. I am unsure why.
...
Day 2: The singing was revealed to be a bird. This may be harder than previously thought.

...

>tripped down the stairs in some non-powered jump
And that there is why I never take those drawbacks.

Flamio, my good hotman.

Ha ha! It's catching!

...

You asshole I have been saying flamio my good hotman irl now.

Oh, another question. How bad are the diminishing return on levels here? Because you mentioned those, and I'm assuming I'm not level 42 with jump purchases alone.

If you say so. Traveling and interesting multiverse is the only thing that matters, being stuck here is worse than death.

I'd... Curl up and start shivering, probably.

Then again, the fact that it was not a dream after all would really help in the end.

Not something I really have hard quantified, so let's try this.

It depends on the edition you jump.

If you jump it 1 or 2E, then you're hard capped at 20 purchasable levels and everything past that is just ease of learning.

If you jump something past 2E, then you can buy more levels but assume a soft cap of 30 with highly diminishing returns after that.

How's that sound.

Sit around using precog to read stuff and play games that aren't released yet (or nudge things so they're higher quality). Watch as Desty uplifts everything and do the occasional spar with companions to prevent Sechs from getting bored. I don't need him testing his version of the Dragon Slaying Fist in atmosphere again.

Probably also throw a clone of myself (with some fixes) out to take my original place. Would be a bit awkward to just suddenly go missing.

You should have invested in multiverse travel abilities. There are a few that only work post chain.

>not figuring out what you did wrong
>not taking what you've learned to better yourself or others
>not making earth interesting
>not doing literally anything than complain

I'll probably do some minor updates, but Erudite would be exactly how things on Athas would be like. On Athas unless you're out in the boonies, anyone with more psionic potential than the average individual, goes to a school. The school basically teaches the philosophy of "The Way" which has become so synonymous with Psionics they're often interchangeable. The Way would basically be Erudites.

I'll probably just be putting the notes to 3.5e for magic & psionics. That'll be the extent of the update.

I don't care about visiting alternate versions of this horrible place.

>Being stuck in a mundane and doomed universe totally isn't a horrible thing!

Then why are you jumping at all? Why be a whiney little cunt and not do something?

All of that, though, is based on someone who really needs to quantify how purchases equate in terms of acquired levels.

As I've said in the past, my main goal is to facilitate story and narrative so while I'll include crunch for those who want it I won't force it on people who don't.

Yes, we need rules and structure but I build with the assumption that there's some wiggle room to accomodate different jumping styles and needs.

Fuck! ...well, my life is immeasurably better now, and I can finally explain what the fuck a Hamburglar is.

>mundane universe
>there's an ex-jumper in it
Pick one. I'll grant you that you may doom the universe, but probably not by letting entropy run its course.

Fantastic. Thank you for following up with me on this.

But can you see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

So, what does the Legend Capstone actually do, besides giving you levels? Does it actually make every single battle potentially winnable, or is that fluff?

Also, what's Dragonlance fluff like? Are martials actually capable of competing with casters?

We can buy the Experienced Classes perks multiple times, right?

>Every time this stupid fucking topic comes up.

Because you are going to fantastical universes on wild adventures? Not sure what your intent was.

I'm the only being with power. There's nothing new or interesting. The universe itself is empty and boring and mundane, without anything interesting to do or see. As an explorer I'd have nothing to do.

Slight depression, but nothing I can't get over.
Then excitement at getting to see my family again.
Then panic over having to introduce the family I've gathered on the chain to them.
Then more excitement over getting to introduce them to eachother.

I think the best way to do it is to tell them that I'm now a wizard. They won't really get or care about the whole kitsune thing, and wizard will explain away the sword wife eccentricities.

I'd prove it by inviting them into the tamer parts of Warehome. A house party with good eats, and comfy settings is the best way to introduce the families. My family is pretty crazy about food, so the ingredients from my Legend of Mana Garden should be fun and exciting for them.
I'll wait for them to settle down after that to introduce them to Toriko level food. I'll ease them into the real story as well.

Larger scale plans involve spreading FMA alchemy, the force, Scifi medicine, and reinvigorating interest in SPACE through song.
And maybe a little cult.
I fucking love space...

You're welcome. It's nothing to be ember-rassed over. It's a pretty hot saying.

You realize you can actually go to Dune and get the real thing, right?

There are ways to leave. Minecraft has one and any decent jumper should be making a backup plan.

I don't consider what he did or his intent of letting you copy Conduit valid.

Some people man. Just, some people.

>So, what does the Legend Capstone actually do, besides giving you levels? Does it actually make every single battle potentially winnable, or is that fluff?
Not entirely fluff. I based it on some of the bigger epic heroes who do take down gods, dragons, and other big shakers. However, and that’s why I worded it the way I did, none of them survived. So there’s always a chance for success, but if you push too hard then that success comes at a price. Also note that it says victory, and not kill or destroy. You might just inflict enough damage for a thing to be sealed back into its MacGuffin or banished. Both of those are canon examples of victories, they did what they set out to do, but they came at the cost of the life of the hero and his allies.

>Also, what's Dragonlance fluff like? Are martials actually capable of competing with casters?
In some cases yes and in others no. The fluff is largely 2E’ish, which is to say that at lower levels a martial can stomp a mage but as the two class archetypes scale in power that is reversed.

>We can buy the Experienced Classes perks multiple times, right?
Yes. It wouldn’t increase the qualifiable advantages given by those perks, but if you’re using the perks as levels model it would give you more levels until you hit the caps discussed earlier in the thread.

Steel Dragons from Dragons of Faerun. The Great Wyrm is CR 18 or 19 with a CL of 21.

I did, but do these look like the eyebrows of a man who is satisfied with not being a double or triple Mentat? There is never enough Mentat!
