Roll up a Craftworld

Ok, first time rolling up stuff. Let's use the 1d4chan table, then.

Roll me a 1d10

Rolled 6 (1d10)

So, the Imperium spotted us in M37

Now, let's see what biome we have.

Roll 1d8

Rolled 2 (1d8)

Ah, so we're Desert Elves now.

I wonder what our most common path is?
1d10, please.

Rolled 1 (1d10)

Ok, we're apparently a craftworld full of artisans. Good to know we've got people making fancy stuff.

So how are our numbers doing?
1d10 again.

Rolled 9 (1d10)

Nominal Strength. So we're doing ok.

What's our favorite tactic?

1d8 this time.

Rolled 1 (1d8)

>Tactics - rape

I suppose that counts as Close Combat?

Now let's see who's our favorite unit type

1d10

Rolled 10 (1d10)

Rolled 1 (1d10)

Ok, so this one brings up:

Other (such as Seers, Harlequins, Manipulated "Allies," etc.)

I guess we could hammer that out later.

What's our favorite Aspect Warrior?

1d10

Rolled 6 (1d10)

Wraithguards, maybe? We Ianden now.

Goi Swooping Hawks!

Alright, then who's our Hero?

1d10

Rolled 5 (1d10)

rolling an 8 would have given us wraith constructs

We could have a lot if killer clowns pass by, as our artisans might build some less esoteric bits of gear for them sometimes.

Maybe also a shrine for the laughing god, if there are such things.

Love em, fits the desert very well.

We got a Spiritseer

so what did he/she do?

1d8

...

Sounds good to me.

As an alternative, eldar corsair mercenaries? We supply them with spare parts, they protect us.

Rolled 1 (1d8)

Why not both, I like that as well.

Crazy clown/pirate bazar.

Oh ho ho, we pissed off those Tau something fierce.

Now they want the seer's head, sending out stealth teams every time they hear about him/her whereabouts.

next up disposable paw- I mean allies, yes....

1d8

Rolled 2 (1d8)

Well, fuck blueberries anyway. Double mon'keigh.

Looks like you're going to have to put up with those mon'keigh, because we've just been stuck with the Guard as 'allies'

Want to know who we hate?

1d10

Probably fucked them up when they tried to mess with a maiden world.

Better watch your trade routes.

More plunder for the corsairs as well.

Rolled 4 (1d10)

Fits, maybe diverted some Damocles troops in the day and kept them from getting killed....at least immediatly.

wow, minor aliens.

going to have to roll 1d100 for that.

Rolled 83 (1d100)

FUGGEN KHRAVE, REEEEEE.

Loxatl

not sure why we really hate them, but we do.

so give me a bit to make some bullet points in the next post.

>The Imperium first found us in M37
>Our biome is desert
>We're a craftworld of artisans
>We've got an average population for a craftworld
>We like Close Combat
>Our most common units are... (Seers, Harlequins, Manipulated allies, etc)
>Swooping Hawks are the preferred Aspect Warriors
>Our hero is a Spiritseer
>Killed a bunch of Tau enough that they really want said seer dead at all costs
>Working with/manipulate IG to their ends
>We really hate Loxatls.

Time to fluff things up

Hmm, aren't they potentially related to the old ones?

Theyare mentioned as mercenaries, so maybe some turf war with our corsair friends due to possibly tau hiring them out to protect their juicy convois.

Extra annoying as they know more about our trickery and have faster ships.

How dare they!

Damn cold blooded bastards. Think you're too good for the desert heat, you scalie freaks!?

So apparently the Tau hired mercs to kill our spiritseer and his entourage , using loxatls, who set up a trap in a rather dense forest or somesuch we had to pass through. Being more used to desert, we didn't fair quite as well as we'd liked, and ended up with a considerable number of people dead, but the seer at least made it out.

We are a craftworld that keeps to the alien popilated areas of the eastern fringe due to serving as a well liked restock and market for corsairs who like to trade for our goods.
We even accept them as nearly an own path, possibly.

Potentially also have some Clown trafvic due to an old shrine to the laughing god which they tend.

Bumped into the Imperium as they expanded into that area and hot inbetween them and the Tau during the Damocles crusade when we helped raiding both factions supply lines for profit and securing our assets , especially a maiden world...

anyone want to name the craftworld?

Continued:

The Tau, good in alien relations hired Loxatl mercenaries who were acvustomed to our tactics and started counter smbushes at valuable targets and actually hurt us, likeSaid.

So we refuse to trade with them anymore and are out for blood as we do not aprecciate their only business approach.

Used a name generator and liked "Idranavar".

Dont forget we supported guard regiments with rangers against tsu commandos.

Damn stealth suits.

Maybe we're helping them out by sniping tau officers and providing intel?

Or we're secretly letting them have some other xeno tech to mess around with?

Personally I see this more like "using guard to beat tau for us instead of risking our own forces" instead of "assisting human armies".

That was the idea.

Fuck off Tau, we ard full.

seeing as how we're desert elves, maybe we're working with Tallarn or Tallarn descended regiments?

Nah, too gimmicky.

If we have mostly desert biomes on our craftworld doesn't mean that we seek out likeminded humans to manipulate.

Personally, I think Salvars, or someone of equal disrepute would work better. Penal legions maybe. Press-ganged criminals or death-sentenced cannon fodder seems like a good candidate to be manipulated by a world of artisans.

Maybe, perdonally think any humu would have done...but we could not totally hate one specific Tallarn regiment from the battlegroup we had fight the Tau for us.

Agreed.

I hear Tallarn actually has a sort of friendly relationship with Eldar

Hm, yeah, probably someone desperate would also begrudgingly work for the Eldar.

Maybe eldar are manipulating both?

Definetly manipulating both.

Those dirty animals might know some tricks and be of use, but it ends there.

I like the Hawks Corsair synergy by the way.

All those wings!
