Retro Sci-fi

How about some retro sci-fi campaign inspiration? Feel free to post art (genuine or more contemporary but designed to imitate it), recommend books, music, etc.

I'll post what I have.

What do you mean by retro sci-fi? a 2016 where more than ten people live and work in space?

...

...

Well, that's part of it, but mostly I just mean the aesthetics of what sci-fi (in particular pulpier sci-fi) was like 50-60 years ago. Look at old science fiction pulp covers for examples. Giant bugs, bubble helmets, flying saucers, etc.

Ah, a future that cannot exist but looks plausible.

Why from just 60 years ago? It's not like anything has changed. We're still imagining a future that will never be.

I'd wear the shit out of that helmet.

How would you know though?
I mean it's not like we've been there.
Maybe all the scientists are keeping the hot amazon women to themselves?
