When creating a character, do you normally think of a theme song for them? Any particular battle theme music? If so, post them in this thread with your character's summary/alignment.
Example: Game - Pathfinder Alignment - Chaotic Evil Character Schtick - Intimidate based antipaladin; went into the middle of combat and used Dazzling Display + Signature Skill (Intimidate) to CC the enemies around her Theme song - youtu.be/KQraIiI3S-c
>Hot-dogging mecha pilot full HOT BLOOD and GUTS, who doesnt know the meaning of "too dangerous". To him the only the only thing bette than kicking ass is looking good while doing it >youtube.com/watch?v=4gDch1p4c_M

It's the middle of the 21st century, after an economic collapse leaves much of the country in lawless state, similar to the wild west. Times are hard and my character's father has to work as a drug courier for a criminal gang in order to put food on the table. Shit goes bad on a deal and gunfire is exchanged after an inside man tries to help the buyer steal the drugs. Father is wounded but escapes and goes to ground, not knowing who to trust. Criminal gang thinks he is a turncoat as well and decides to execute his family in retribution. He's half a step ahead of them and is trying to get his family to safety when the hitmen show up. Everybody dies except my character, who is out scrounging for scrap with her friends.
When she learns what happened she flees town and earns enough money to survive giving tug jobs in the backroom of a bar. She knifes a guy when he isn't satisfied with a tug job and tries to force himself on her. She's beaten for the offense, but the boss is impressed with her ability to handle herself and to take punishment. He ends up using her in various criminal operations. At first it's non-confrontational stuff, but by the time she's twenty, she's a full blown enforcer.
She dedicates as much of her free time as possible to becoming as deadly as possible. Physically speaking, she's nothing special, but her determination is 11 on a 10-scale, and once she puts her mind to something, she will not stop until she's achieved her goal. Her desire for revenge carries her through the hard times, and after a few more years, she decides she's ready to go, but the boss refuses to let her leave, and has her beaten again when she refuses to cooperate. So once she's sufficiently recuperated, she walks into his office and lets him have both barrels of her shotgun. She shoots her way out in the ensuing chaos, and she escapes town, joining travelers going to the city where her family was killed (the party).
Is DM(N)PC close enough? My players are mech pilots working for a PMC. This guy is their boss. He's an old man in a profession where practitioners rarely live to see 35. Regardless, he's like your crazy uncle with terrible fashion sense who only wants to have a good time. Schtick - Experimental modification that basically gives him a harpoon cannon that can reel mechs in backed up by strong close-range weapons youtube.com/watch?v=Gvuhw9nBx20

>trying to gm a game >get interrupted because players want to play "their theme" >takes three minutes to reach from YouTube. > they roll a dice >they miss >next player does the exact same thing so glad they picked up on how stupid it was after two combats
Gabriel Fisher
Why is everybody's music terrible?
Brandon Nguyen
Never ask for music from Veeky Forums.
Jace Ross
>AC/DC >Terrible
bruh?
Brandon Kelly
AC/DC aren't terrible, but they're way overrated, and that's not even a very good song of theirs.
Christopher Campbell
Whats your idea of "a good song of theirs"?

>tfw cybernetically resurrected into a glorified combat servitor
Game is Pathfinder Alignment is Chaotic Good Character is a Bard in a game where the gm placed us in a far off frontier town filled to the brim with depressed and dying people after the kingdom supporting us suddenly cut off supplies. All the other PCs have really depressing lives so of course I decided to play a plucky bard with who always tries to keep everyone spirits up. Theme song is youtube.com/watch?v=T5qV-TVemmI
Christian Scott
Not exactly on topic, but this is the theme our GM plays when we're fighting our anti-villain
>tfw I just want to play Pharah for a little while, but keep landing in teams full of codbabbies who think "support characters are for other people", leaving me to play Lucio or Mercy and desperately try to keep two Hanzos, a Widowmaker, a Reaper, and a Tracer alive while they scatter across the map and ignore the objective
Thomas Mitchell
Nigga it's unranked pub games only right now, care about team composition in ranked mode
Jaxon Evans
That's why I praise the lord that I ended up really liking Lucio, I never have a problem when it comes to team balance vs me picking my favorite character. I just pick based roller skate nigga, zoom around the map at mach 5 and grind on walls, rack up crazy kill streaks, heal all my boys, and generally put the team on my back.
Nolan Long
I don't think any of the characters in my group have theme songs right now. My GM has an individual antagonist suited for each of us in addition to the main plot, and all of those have themes, though. I'll link this and ask him to post.
I had theme for my first character, though; a CG Incanter/Stalker (Brutal Slayer archetype)/Bladecaster who had a serious hate-on for a militaristic anti-magic city-state in the setting and nobility in general. He did eventually lighten up and stop being an unreasonable brooding arsehole (first character. Went better than it sounds), but this was his theme until then
I am quite proud to present an inquisitor of the most inquisitorial sort. Goodluck my fellow gaurdsman youtube.com/watch?v=ZY3ufkZPm1s

I don't do it for characters I make, but I like to have a theme for Big Bads
Game - Shadowrun Alignment - Lawful Sadistic* Character Shtick - BDSM Cowgirl Cop Lady working for Lone Star Security. Skills lean towards investigation, intimidation/interrogation, and quick-draw pistol combat. youtube.com/watch?v=xkFZn4oPMqE

>Game - D20 Spies >Alignment - Secret >Character Schtick - Taking the position of leader of the group Mattew Chappel often mediates between the most extreme options. Coming from a mysterious agency in Britian known only as "the red tie agency", within only a few months he'd set up a safehouse in the vault of an old American bank. Using it as a front they began trading as "South Western Finance". It is unknown why Chappel was lent over to the new agency, however it slowly becomes known that he has PTSD from a botched mission for red tie that saw his entire unit killed save for him (see song). He may appear a doughboy more comfortable sorting confrontations from his smartphone, but he actually has near savant knowledge of weapons and carries, of all things, a knuckle duster, in his right pocket. His weapon of choice is a colt defender .45. >Theme song youtube.com/watch?v=DsE7hUx0iY0&index=28&list=PLF000EB573891300C
Game - Shadowrun 4e Alignment - Unlawful but alive Character Schtick - Shooting stuff until it's dead, managing team's tactics. youtube.com/watch?v=bqSHI4Of5g0
Leo Bell
I have a PC in my group who's occupation is as a pro-wrestler. It was agreed that the manager would pick out the theme song so she had one picked out for her.
Game - Only War Alignment - Lawful Imperial Character Schtick - Imperial Guardsman drafted against his will and dumped into a Mechanized Recon regiment that uses armored cars instead of sentinels. Thinks road safety and speed limits are things that only applies to other people. Has developed a bad habit of chewing a local bark during missions to calm his nerves. Chewing said bark has a similar effect as dropping acid (and who knows where you'll be when the acid kick in).
Game - Star Wars Alignment - Imperial Remnant Character Schtick - Intelligence officer with a knowledge of small unit tactics and extensive CQC training Theme song - youtube.com/watch?v=cLoytewvn0g
Description This elf has a cocky and smug air about him, he holds himself with the confidence of a health and fit twenty-something. He has a hard-bitten face with a sly smirk often curling his lips. His dark hair is short and cut in a typical military high and tight with a sharp arrow-head chin strip under his bottom lip. He is typically built for his kind, a little lean but with enough muscle to not look lanky or skinny. He has a few tattoos, a line of script on his left arm and a few hidden by common clothing which is often a mix of military surplus and cowboy gear.
Known History Born and raised in Tir Na Nog, The Youthful Land in the common tongue, with a strong streak of Irish nationalism running through him and his family. Silas has worked almost exclusively for the Tir Na Nog famlies with the most recent job having sent to do a little work in Boston before moving on for a job in escorting some cargo across U.C.A.S in part of a convoy. From there he lingered around and gradually moved towards Athabaskan territory, doing the odd job and easy run for money.
This was the tune my hard-boiled ex-Arbites sacrificed himself to in the campaign finale.

Pretty sure the devs said she didn't.

God I hope she's not a quad amputee. Then the porn of her is going to be nothing but quad amputee garbage that only sick fucks like like.

>Then the porn of her is going to be nothing but quad amputee garbage >implying masturbating to fan-drawn porn of video game characters is normal regardless of subject matter

5e Human Monk Chaotic Neutral - (spoiler) Formerly Evil Old drunken beggar that carries a strange cloth roll, suggested to contain a weapon. He can be found in taverns, or outside in the dirt depending on his depressed financial situation. He's beset by bounty hunters and thugs all claiming some vendetta. He was generally humorous and did good for common people and refugees. His money is either given out or used to buy alcohol.
He ended up getting struck down Obi Wan style by a high level human fighter. It was in this battle that he drew his sword for the first time - which was essentially a vorpal sword shaped like a Dao.
Probably one of the best role plays that I worked out in writing with the DM.
