my guess: giant ruined robots and shattered tech everywhere, overgrown and largely obscured, derelict high technology, civilizations living in the ruins of said tech, scavenging and repurposing everything for their needs. lots of mystery, lots of substructure exploration. magic items are tech bits from previous eras. monsters are variously mutated biomega cyborg hideousness.
so, like, rad as fuck.
