Let me ask you, does Kit have a novella dedicated to her? I don't think so.
And to answer my own question of the day: Aghora deck!
Also, between Fear The Masses (the card), Bhagat and some already published cards (Medium/DemoRun for R&D pressure, Spoilers...) there's something of a cool, relatively mobile milling Anarch deck I really want to try.
Chase Hernandez
NETRUNNER IS DEAD! The heavens wait for it's corpses seed L5Rs return!
Ayden Diaz
Also... sounds crazy, even to my ears, but hear me out... Three Paige Piper AND three Making an Entrance...
>NETRUNNER IS DEAD...
... long live Netrunner.
Landon Price
The toxic king kill the game. Then the great Damon came. With a change and a twist the players raised a rebel fist! Stimhack fell and giants died, in the darkness a meta died. A glowing hope, a rising pride, new deck lists are reprise. 23 comes and cards are new, thoughts are changes and decks grew. With hope and change we see new, people come and meta anew, Damon shines and we all buy, never again Netrunner Dies.
Gavin Cooper
>what's the crazy deck you're itching to try? Fixed-strength breakers with Null and without Datasucker
Speaking of new runners, how the hell am I supposed to use Khan?
Aiden Green
As I was saying in previous thread: probably better to wait an see the support cards before taking the building jump with her.
That being said: bypass does seem like it could play some role.
Talking crazy jank, not going to be a tournament darling, but a well timed Fisk Investment Seminar followed by Information Sifting looks like a Cool Moments Generator™ to me.
Jack Brown
>Fixed-strength breakers with Null and without Datasucker
Are you a bad enough Dude to Bishop or Scrubbed?
Luke Roberts
I'm falling in the awful trap of having too many decks I want to play at the same time and trying to ram everything in one build... need to scale down.
Landon Brooks
What's the max number of concepts that should be fit into a single deck by the way? For either side.
Jack Taylor
Bump
Carson Turner
Corp should be around 4+minimum deck size (doesn't require change in agenda points but adds more non-agenda to the deck droping agenda density), while Runner should be exactly the deck size (for sake of consistency).
Josiah Bailey
Hard to say - probably depends on how broad your concepts are: something small, like a neat combo, can be with a few other small things, but if you want to try a whole new ice suite or econ engine then you probably want the rest of the deck to be something simple or that you're familiar with.
Oh, there's a few - Salem looks very fun (and I'd be tempted to bribe him with hooker-bioroids), and Navi Mumbad Grid looks fun (denying shapers clone chips and SMC is great, and Blue Sun getting to "Nope!" David is boner inducing)
But I think the thing I most want to try is the Judge and go for a truly murderous Weyland deck (though protection will be an issue)
Parker Wood
Dinosaurus best console
Luke Lopez
I'm still stuck trying to make Fisk work. So far it only sped up my games, giving the Corp the cards he needs and forcing him into rush. It's reverse rush, which is a good thing because Criminals are a good match up against rush, right? Inside Job, Account Siphon, Legwork. But damn, I can't make my money last.
Dylan Watson
Well there's the cool new criminal contract coming up that should help with money in the not too distant future, but my general impression of fisk is that he'sdesigned to be a denial runner - like if Reina didn't have to pay inf for Siphon. Maybe add a bit of anarch hand attack - reducing hand size and trashing and some of their denial stuff, a bit of good ol' crim multi-access (you may want protection if you're Sifting ) and see how it goes
Jordan Collins
For testing purpose, if it's a particular strategy you want to test, I'd say one only. Then you can hybridize depending on test results.
If it's particular cards or card combinations, no more than a handful, put in an otherwise relatively safe and tested deck-shell. Want to be able to put three copies of them just to be sure to see them in action as much as possible. Then you can thin depending on results.
That's how I like to do things anyway.
Yeah, between the judge, Consulting visit and subcontract, there's probably a chance to make Weyland rush-kill a lot more vicious. I'm probably the only one, but I'm really interested in using Merger with Atlas and see how well that FA rush build can work. Liking Election day as a fastener.
Carter Nelson
I really want to make an Anarch "Ascendency" build work, getting the extra clicks from Emptied Mind and running safely with that one card I forget the name of. I don't think there's enough support at the moment though
Nicholas Hernandez
That's one thing so far for me with Fisk, he cannot be all about econ denial - others can be so much better at it than him, but I don't really see much options that would allow tempo control for him.
Zachary Morales
Yeah, between the theme and the effect Emptied Mind + The Noble Path is really something tempting (all the more since, contrary to Election Day, you *can* trash a zero hand-size grip).
And I'll repeat it until someone likes it! FIS + Information Sifting. In Fisk.
Joshua White
Also Ramujan and Guru to protect yourself.
Henry Rogers
Too bad Stim Dealer cannot be prevented. Using Ramujan. Would have been deliciously twisted from a theme standpoint.
Jordan Williams
Any combination of His ability, Seminar, Turning wheel and normal criminal HQ stuff with Demolition Run could be good - this is your hand, say goodbye to it
Blake Stewart
Well, only when going with the idea that Ramujan transfers the damage to kids, rather than the interpretation that it's a cheap way for amateur users like kids to use the net at low risk
But yes, transferring stim-induced brain damage to random kids is dark as fuck
Zachary Ortiz
Hmmm... will be trying to add back some Demo run. That proposition temps me.
Ayden Perez
Hey guys, any tips of what to change or add to my deck? To me it still feels somehow incomplete and bad.
Lincoln Clark
Atman without tools to change ICE str and Crypsis in Adam, where clicks are at a premium, really surprise me.
If you're going Aesop to trash directives, I would say not worth it. Learn to embrace the directives and play with them as much as possible and not against them.
I know people don't like the card, but if you're going the AI way with Adam, Faust is the logical answer. You're already playing in low econ range, and have native draw. Add Drug Dealer* as support and Independent Thinking for those few occasions when you need explosive draw to surprise a corp that felt it was safe, and you're basically set.
I don't know how I feel about Account Siphon in Adam. It's AS, it's always powerful at the right time, but ABR makes it so it's *very* in the very beginning of the game, one of the best windows for it. Obviously you have others left once you're set up, but... I don't know.
*: and now I'm wondering, is the implication that Stim isn't a drug, or that small time drug dealers just cn't get their hands on the stuff?
Isaac Diaz
>but ABR makes it so it's *very*
dangerous. I accidentally a word yet again. Sorry. I suck like a black hole.
Julian Gonzalez
It's not random asskids though, as far as I understand the damage is negated by being divided to everyone who is jacked in with those cheap BMI.
Jeremiah Perry
>is the implication that Stim isn't a drug, or that small time drug dealers just cn't get their hands on the stuff? I'd say it's that the Drug Dealers are peddling more commercial and acceptable drugs - noting that they come in the Old Hollywood pack, and that the art shows they have a full blown stall, I think it just represents Stims being a much more hardcore drug, as represented by the relative power of the effect and the cost

Paedophilius and street magic seem odd choices. Especially when Origami is in-faction and old TB forces you to drop a Cache (and possibly other things)
Aaron Howard
what the fuck is this garbage is it bait?
Dominic Ward
Oh, come on, don't be a dick.
Carter Sanders
I don't think drug dealers are selling drugs to the runner, although it's possible. I think drug dealers are ears on the streets, a contact to that provide the runner with information. It might be that I play Stirling with drug dealers and that's how it plays in my mind, but for me it makes more sense coming from the Criminal faction. If the card were anarch I'd probably think otherwise. Anyway, why would the Runner willingly buy knockoffs?
Cameron Barnes
I like that explanation.
Owen Kelly
I wouldn't call them knockoffs, just less hard drugs, ones that are classier and less messy But that explanation works well too - I think there's a fair bit of netrunner lore that can work like that
Caleb Parker
knockoffs are what the flavour text in the card mentions btw
Wyatt Walker
no and as said. So instead of being a dick you could tell your ideas how to make it better and modify as my post said.
Joshua Edwards
As I'm about to go into a decking list soon enough, I don't know that I'd go three Gravediggers, let alone Gravedigger without Virus Breeding Ground. Depends on what you expect from it guess.
Now going into this idea, could it be possible that we have enough options to make a deck whose main strat is decking that happens to be reliable enough (not tournament worthy, no point going that way, I think it's good for the game that decking remains hard, but you know, can be done well enough)?
So options: - Fear the Masses (this being two influence, how are you ever playing that out of faction? At one influence, Exclusive party is well-costed; Out of the Ashes you don't need to import it in bulk to make it work, so two is ok, but this?). - Bhagat (+ Woman in the Red Dress I guess, yes, I love that pair, sue me). - Spoilers. - Gravedigger (+Virus Breeding Ground) - Medium/DemoRun - DRL is still a possibility I guess. - Eden Shard. - FIS
Am I forgetting anything?
Parker Ward
Oh, and witnessed today: Runner going tag me against Jinteki thinking he has some leeway, corp plays The All Seeing. Half a rig trashed. Ouch.
It's funny when wild cards do pay off.
Jacob Anderson
ETR Code gates can hurt that deck bad.
Day Job AND Duggar. I think you're going to find in testing that it makes for a lot of lost turns, which is not easy to deal with.
3 Memstrips is overkill, and even then why not at least one Grimoire?
Samuel Lee
Chronos got an alt for Nationals... looks fucking sweet
Election Result: the Ēkatā Party(harmony/solidarity, pro-clone rights) won.
Akshara Sareen, the party leader, was assassinated during her acceptance speech, throwing the party into disarray and making the promised changes seem much, much less certain.
Akshara's brother, Krishnan appears to be trying to hold on to the leadership of the party, but there are other contenders. We've briefly seen him before...
Caleb Cox
It wouldn't be the first time there is a murder within a family. But I find it unusually dark for Android Netrunner.
Ayden Walker
Me I like the implication by card fluff that it just might be Weyland forcing a Status-quo of sort.
Gavin Collins
He also has a quote in Weyland's Commercial Bankers Group. This plus Subcontract and Election Day ominously present in the same data pack makes me agree with that Weyland might have had a hand in the assassination, despite staying relatively low profile through out the cycle
Cooper Jenkins
I wasn't sure what was the implication of Weyland with this assassination, I just didn't see what were in it for them. But keeping the status quo and being able to manipulate the new leader of the party sounds very much like them. Several president assassination come to my mind, I wonder who won what from killing Lincoln, Kennedy, Garfield, and McKinley.
Luis Barnes
I don't think it was Weyland, they're having to get greasing palms from near-scratch again. Though I guess the previous party may have been a bit untenable in such a dramatic and contested election
Chase Price
>a quote in Weyland's Commercial Bankers Group Damn, I play that and missed it.
Yeah, they've probably got a significant hand in there somewhere
Though that could just be Weyland bribing the second-in-command (and most obvious inheritor) of the party, and trusting that Jinteki can't let Akshara live.
While a Judge is a perfectly reasonable thing for Weyland to buy, I wonder if he's "Zealous" because the president just got assassinated, giving a pretext to hand out intense surveillance warrants like candy?
David Hill
But then to grease palms, you need hands that are willing to take the money.
Akshara didn't really sound like the kind of person that would allow this gracefully.
Elijah Martinez
Hope they release the art for that one day.
Thomas Gray
The artist is pretty damn awesome.
Mason Anderson
Also, we know who's *the* assassination specialist in the pie color.
Eli Murphy
Don't forget about the Enforcing Loyalty and Voter Intimidation cards in Jinteki though, they're definitely not above getting their hands dirty.
Bentley Evans
Even HB with Hellion Alpha Test and Project Ares, and just look at Ibrahim Salem, jesuschrist. Corps gonna Corp.
Easton Rodriguez
I didn't say exclusivity... but everybody knows that if you want some meat removed, the jade guys are the real deal.
(This was a message by Weyland Reprazent, the deep net Weyland marketing subdivision.)
Jason Ramirez
So here's an untested Nero deck list I've had in mind, which basically utilizes Sage and Memstrip together with his ability to safely facecheck basically everything.
(45 cards) Nero Severn: Information Broker -- Event (16 cards) 2 Dirty Laundry 3 Emergency Shutdown 1 Feint 2 Forged Activation Orders 2 Hostage 3 Special Order 3 Sure Gamble -- Hardware (7 cards) 1 Box-E 2 e3 Feedback Implants 3 MemStrips •••••• 1 Plascrete Carapace -- Program (6 cards) 2 Crescentus 2 Grappling Hook 1 Ninja 1 Sage ••• -- Resource (16 cards) 3 Bank Job 3 Data Folding 1 Kati Jones 1 Professional Contacts •• 2 Sacrificial Construct •• 3 Same Old Thing 1 Scrubber • 1 Security Testing 1 The Turning Wheel •
Other then being probably unusable against asset spam, another huge weakness is that it's extremely fragile and lacks any recursion, so if Sage, Ninja or the Memstrips get trashed then you've more or less already lost. I have an alternate list that replaces Scrubber and Sacrificial Constructs for a Levy (recursion) and 2 Councilman (upgrade protection), but I'd appreciate any suggestions, especially on economy or viable protection/recursion methods.
Christian Ward
Sage scares me. I want to like that card but the overhead set up is just so big...
I mean, just look at your deck list. You have no viruses. So basically you're paying 9 influence for that Sage plan to take hold. And *only* for that. At that cost, I would expect the the card to behave crazy good, and in general, when I've tested it, the results were underwhelming (though, to keep with the thread theme, installed on a Dinosaurus in Chaos Theory, it wasn't half bad).
The way it intersects with Nero's ability? Cool idea. I think it's going to be hard to make it work. You're going to have to tighten things. Especially MU.
ProCo, as always the question is going to be: how often do you think you'll use it more than once a turn? If rarely, Symmetrical Visage could save you two influence and some early game tempo.
If you play against a lot of FA/Rush, I have a feeling you probably could replace Ninja with Mongoose without having to fear stacked sentries that much.
tryng to give it a bit more thought, I like the idea, but I'm afaid I'm going to go in rambling mode.
Ayden Cook
>Ibrahim Salem Interestingly, he's one of the 3 individuals mentioned in the last lines of the announcement, as one of the handful of individuals who can effect bold, sweeping changes in the Indian Union.
The others are Akshara Sareen, Monica Singh - Sareen is obvious, but Monica, from Infiltration, Infiltration the card, Freelancer and, as of FTM, Subcontract as well. I wonder what she's done - though as a trained assassin I might be able to guess
Nicholas Lopez
Yeah, there seems to be a collusion of forces in the background of that Jinteki/HB conflict, with NBN as a facilitator and Weyland sitting at the center of power and going "ok, all that Clone right bullshit is cute and all, but it's getting bad for business, let's do something about it".
Ryan Jones
Go ahead and ramble, it always nice to look at a deck from a new perspective.
You're right about the high influence cost just to make a single card work, oddly enough I never even considered it to be a problem. Replacing a Memstrip or two with Dinosaurus could work (Sage on Dino + 1 MemStrip and Ninja equals 8 strength, more than enough for most Barriers and Code Gates), though having only one Dino means it could show up way too late, and having two means that the second Dino is a dead draw (though I'm not opposed to having damage fodder in hand).
Symmetrical Visage sounds like a good idea, the extra influence should be enough to include a Retrieval Run in case I lose an icebreaker, or just to do more Crescentus/Grappling Hook shenanigans. Will have to see how it goes in practice, I've never taken note of my drawing habits before.
2 Mongoose could be doable, as it still leaves Sage with plenty of extra MU as long as the MemStrip is on the table. It is an extra card though, which may or may not be a good thing.
Any extra economy suggestions?
Blake Reyes
>Retrieval Run
If you're going the Dino way, why not Scavenge? Lets you trade one program for another. Let's you swap a Sage from naked install onto a late-draw Dinosaurus.
3 Bank Job.. well, you know your meta, trouble with it is you need open remotes to make it really worthwhile. In current asset spam climate, not a dangerous bet, but against some compact builds, it could prove a liability...
Data Folding is a long term plan, you want to to start paying as soon as possible, a reason why so often you see it paired with Career Fair. But that then in turns asks for strong draw power - which incidentally your deck is kinda lacking.
Which leads us to: Hostage allows you to get three cards (two if you get rid of ProCo)...I think stronger draw instead of tutoring would on average behave better for your deck. Though yeah, you'll see in testing.
Another question, why do you do feel the need for those Sacrificial Construct? Loads of trashing going around where you play?
Robert Myers
Hmm, while Scavenge does sound like a good idea, A MemStrip or Dino is really important for Sage to be effective early though, so I don't know if Sage will ever be installed early. There's also the possibility of not having a program to trash to retrieve programs, as well as the added utility in Retrieval Run to get back Grappling Hook/Crescentus.
My meta usually has 1 or 2 unprotected servers so it should be ok. I'll swap one out for other options if I don't see too many opportunities to benefit from it.
Hostage was basically to get ProCo out on the table faster, but if I lose the ProCo then yeah Hostage could probably be replaced for either more economy or draw power. Would help with the Data Folding thing too.
While trashing isn't that prevalent, it was mostly there since if you lose Sage from a Trap or Ambush then you basically lose 2/3 of your icebreakers. I think I like Levy + Retrieval Run vs Scrubber + 2 SCs more though.
Ryan Price

Jeremiah Gray
Has anyone ever made a deck that uses that card and IQ to have a impossible high codegate?
Brayden Peterson
Would anyone happen to have the deck list used in the Why I Run website? I'm sure it's probably invalid for actual use, but it definitely looks useful as an introduction to the absolute basics of Netrunner. Thinking of keeping a set to use for demoing purposes.
Jacob Jackson
...
Jordan Baker
Yup, business carries on regardless
I've not, but I've done something similar with Draco - playing Gagarin with Banking groups and I got stupid rich, but there I came across the big flaw of immensely strong (iirc it was like 20, and I could out-trace the runner just fine) ice like that - it still dies like a bitch to David
Lucas Davis
Do you think Commercial Banking Groups would work outside of Gagarin, or would PADs/any other economy asset be preferable?
Angel Cook
I think it's possible - if you can protect it by various means then it's a fantastic money spinner, but it's not easy.
Protecting it could be as simple as the runner seeing an SEA in your hand - intimidation is one of Weyland's greatest weapons, after all - but there's also a few assets and upgrades that might do the trick (though Polop has pretty much put the final nail in the coffin of Off the Grid, unless you can absolutely guarantee constant Crisium)
I'm actually kind of tempted to see what Bernice Mai and DRTs can do (in general, though they're perfect for this), but I suspect that's a pipe dream
Leo Carter
I've played against, if that counts. Fun, silly deck.
Sorry to say I don't. You could always contact the original maker, Nagnazul. A quick search shows me he's on Stimhack. Also has a twitter.
I'm not even convinced about it *in* Gagarin (past the Museum builds I guess). At least playing against. Haven't played with yet.
Ayden Harris
>contact the original maker That sounds like a plan, I'll check around and see if he posted a list anywhere under that name too. Thanks for the lead.
Joshua Lopez
I doubt it is an actual decklist but more a combination of useful cards for demo purposes. I just played a game. Focusing on drawing more than running. This is what I got until I lost.
ninja Ninja Corroder corroder gordian blade gordian blade magnum opus Magnum Opus
special order Special order Modded modded modded diesel diesel diesel sure gamble sure gamble Maker's eye makers eye
R&DI R&DI
FFG has a couple demo decks precisely for demo purposes, specially convention and stuff. It does a good job at showcasing the game. Shaper vs Jinteki. Setup and programs vs ambushes and net damage.
The lack of enthusiasm for it is palpable, but anyone tried to play with Harishchandra Ent.?
Hunter Morris
Thanks for writing up the list, Hard Mode seems to also add Daily Casts, Public Sympathy, Dirty Laundry and Quality Time.
Corp side is a bit harder since they're mostly hidden. Most I can tell is that the following cards are used, not sure about the amount. BABW seems to be turned on too.
Hedge Fund Green Level Clearance Blue Level Clearance Scorched Earth
Melange? Snare!
While I haven't tried the FFG recommended decks, the Why I Run cards seem to be really intuitive to me; Corps need to protect their servers and get lots of money, Runners need to calculate risks and build up to break through the ice. Could leave a favourable impression very easily to a complete newbie, and you'd generally be done in
David Parker
It is fantastic in blue sun, combined with AIZ, nets you 6 credits a turn for a click a turn.
