Okay so, I'm trying to get a Roll20 D&D game started up. I've got a few interested players. One of them wants to play a female rogue. Okay, fine. But for her character's portrait, she sent me a picture of a porn star. Pic related - it's the picture she sent me. Is this a big red flag? Should I kick her out of the game?
Okay so, I'm trying to get a Roll20 D&D game started up. I've got a few interested players...
I'll take shit that never happened for 1000, Alex.
same situation but naked druid what do
She obviously wants your D. Cancel the game and get her on skype.
Doublecheck that it's actually a girl, user.
But wouldn't 1000 mean it's kind of a hard question? I feel like this is maybe 200.
your player is either planning something incredibly awesome or incredibly cringey. Either way you can always kick her out later.
>reverse image searching and doing research into it to the point of concern
or
>identifying a porn star on sight
Yeah op, ban her. It is the best out come for he-, i mean you whatever you, make sure you let her know that she should never have anymore contact with you so she is not lead on.
Have you tried asking your player why she chose this for portrait?
Seriously, just talk and have a civil discussion. Either they'll be reasonable, or you'll find out you don't want them in your game.
It would mean that a question has been answered, and you're asking for another one. It's actually a bad reference to the show; it's like if Trebek read off "This monument is famous for having one side of its foundation shift, causing it to lean to one side" and you answered "I'll take 'The Leaning Tower of Pisa for 100, Alex.'" You'd be called an idiot.
turns out this woman doesn't have a penis
frankly i'd say don't bother doing roll20 and just try to find a irl game. recruit friends who have never played, look at your flgs, join a club at your college, etc
every roll20 campaign I've joined has blown
it's both a problem of the people you meet on there, and me just not really enjoying tabletop without the real social aspect.
also all the dms ive had suck
There's a URL in the bottom right corner labeled "rev her engine." It's pretty fucking obvious.
No. You can always make a piano fall on her later.
I had this happen once. It ultimately was fine, because her entire shtick was using her looks to charm or lull people into a false sense of security so she could manipulate them or stab them. Totally viable and useful character archetype, played well.
Just an image, unless it's a lot more explicit than this one, isn't enough to start freaking out. It is, however, an indication that you should keep an eye on things and make sure she doesn't go too far.
Girls enjoy playing the same kind of slutty rogues guys do.
"woman"
It could be an innocent mistake. I've accidentally used a camgirls photo for a character portrait before
Turns out, searching for librarians brings up a lot of porn
>Some girls enjoy playing slutty rogues
FTFY. It's kinda uncommon.
Really? Where do you get that impression?
Lipstick and nose ring ruins it.
>her
>she
That's a man, baby.
Tats and nose ring kills it for me
Admittedly it's largely anecdotal, but of the dozens of characters I've seen played by women, I think there are only two, maaaaybe three you'd call "slutty".
Meanwhile, close to a dozen female characters in bikinis played by dudes.
Changing an old fav pornstar into a fantasy waifu?
Eeeeey I know where I'll wank to tonight.
I know a plenty.
It was online, though the community was small and lasted for long time so ultimately IRL meetings were an often thing, and, well, most of them actually were girls.
Those girls were playing things like bdsm 1y=5-yo ex-sex slaves, priestesses of bdsm godesses, using excuse of being an elf to make "virgins" that were totally OK with getting naked around and showing their tits (ofc explicitly described as awesome) in public, literal prostitutes getting hired in local "estabilishments", bisexual slutty tieflings, all that played by actual girls, proven by meetings and pics from meetings I didn't attend to.
And yes, most of them LOOKED how you would expect - glasses, bad complexion, overveight and so on. Also surprisingly big share of 30-40 years old women married with children
I dunno, I'd kind of expect middle-aged mothers to want to play that kind of thing. They get to feel young, beautiful and, most of all, desired again.
HEY LOOK, IT'S A NEW VERSION OF THE "ACCEPTABLE PIC FOR A CHARACTER" COPYPASTA!
Enjoy your lack of a game shitposter.
How many instances have you had of women players in games compared to man players?
That's interesting. It takes all types, I suppose.
Pretty close to 50-50, for my games. I'm also counting friends' games with which I'm familiar, which tilts the ratio in favor of the guys.
