I wouldn't hold, the novelty of this could wear off very quickly. The ETH network is getting worse making breeding and trading expensive and tedious. Im almost certain the only people driving this at the moment are speculators and day traders which makes it a genuine greater fool scenario.

Breeding time i guess. Each time a cat breeds it takes longer to breed again limiting supply and increasing the value of early generation, fast breeders. Looks like the developers are periodically releasing new gen 0 cats but they're expensive ($4500 ea)

My whole strat is to just find under priced gen 2-5 swift breeders, nothing over 0.3 eth that I can flip for at least 100% profit. Haven't had a cat that hasn't sold yet. It does mean a good hour can go by with no viable prospects but I have no intention of being stuck with a dozen worthless cats when this thing dies.
