IOTA is literally too big to crash down now. The tech works already, and the transactions go through in under a minute at best, feeless. It's got more news scheduled up. It's still way less market cap than ETH, which blew up in a week, and currently can't even handle a few kittens. We'll see some corrections, but a complete crash is just completely unlikely.

This coin is so fucking dumb. They have to continually make snapshots of the tangle because of the tangle size gets so massive due to everyone spamming the network so the network is secure. They call the coordinator "training wheels" but when the network is large enough to support itself, the tangle size will be untenable.

Because it’s needed by businesses to save them money because of its inherent usefulness. There is a limited supply so the value of the token increases.

Absolutely sorry to everyone that is involved in this process, as it's been taking longer than expected on our side to finish up the tool for all the claimants to go through. As the claims have been decreasing over the last few days and the majority have so far send their claims through, we will be issuing these payments as part of an upcoming snapshot (next week).

We will start issuing payments before that snapshot already, to speed things up for some users.

And even if they leave the coordinator in, it will work fine and not be "centralized", as you fudders like to lie. Point is, they're not even gonna leave the coordinator there.
