Rolling a GoT Noble House

Saw one of these threads go up earlier, but it disappeared, which is a shame.

Now, give me 3d6 for where we're based, be it Dorne or the North.

Rolled 6, 6, 3 = 15 (3d6)

Westerlands get.

Literally two off, sadly.
We got the Reach, meaning we're under the Tyrells.

Let's follow it up with 7d6 for our Defenses.

Rolled 6, 1, 1 = 8 (3d6)

Iron Isles

Rolled 2, 2, 3, 2, 3, 4, 1 = 17 (7d6)

Hooray for getting the most inoffensive house in Westeros

The other thread had best of 3 for each resource roll, do we also want to go for that?
If so, then give me two more rolls for Defenses.

Rollin

Rolled 5, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1 = 12 (7d6)

Rerollin

Rolled 3, 6, 5, 2, 6, 5, 5 = 32 (7d6)

last roll, make it good

And lo, it was good.

With the -5 to defense from the reach, that adds up to 27 Defenses, which is "Defensible, with at least one fortified town or castle. Roads and trails are present, and rivers or ports are likely."

Now repeat the process for our Influence, which is a +10 modifier, likely making up for our poor defenses.

No it didn't.

Rolled 1, 6, 2, 5, 1, 4, 1 + 10 = 30 (7d6 + 10)

CIA give me strength

Rolled 6, 2, 6, 4, 5, 1, 6 = 30 (7d6)

Rolled 4, 4, 4, 4, 2, 2, 2 = 22 (7d6)

>4 4 4 4 2 2 2

Is OP dead?

Seems so

>inoffensive

Aren't the Tyrells the second most powerful house after house Lannister?

>30
Influence
>30
Lands
>22
17 Laws

How about we finish the shit just for the hell of it, anyone still here wanna roll for Population/Power/Wealth?
Gonna need 3 sets of 7d6.

Rolled 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 3 = 23 (7d6)

Rolled 5, 5, 5, 2, 4, 5, 2 = 28 (7d6)

Rolled 5, 4, 1, 2, 5, 5, 4 = 26 (7d6)

>23+5
Okay Pops nothing to write home about.
>28
Same for Power, could always use a bit more but hey at least it gives some room to play.

One last time for the most important stats goyims

We've got 40 influence don't we?

>26+5
Oy Vey, there we go. Let's do a quick recap then.

Defense
27
Influence
30
Lands
30
Law
17
Population
28
Power
28
Wealth
31

Good stats all around.

Nah, I'm just using the 1st rolls for each stats, Veeky Forums always did that for all the Houses creation. If the OP comes back he could redo it as he wants.

I can safely assume people would want an Hall for 20 Defense, right? or two tower for 10 each?

Alright what do we roll next?

History and events.

No no you dingdong. Look. You linked as the roll for influence yes? You forgot the +10 from our region.

Now would be the time where people buy their starting settings, lands/troops/infrastructures/kids.

Always been a fan of leaving Influence for last.
So being a Reach House does give a lot of choice in how/where to build the House. Though the lack of Hills/mountains is a bit ...

Rolled 5 (1d6)

History roll then

>7d6+10
for real?

Rolled 5 (1d6)

So Blackfyre Rebellion founding

How about small grassland town with river and road
or maybe lake?

Rolled 5 (1d6)

Events

Blackfyre Rebellion, Give another 1d6-1 for the numbers of events

4 Events
So we need four sets of 3d6

That's what the tables say nigga.

And as well, history comes next.

Rolled 6, 3, 4 = 13 (3d6)

Rolled 4, 6, 6 = 16 (3d6)

Do you have the events tables?

Rolled 5, 3, 4 = 12 (3d6)

I got em.

Favor
Glory
Ascent

-Favor
-Glory
-Ascent

Jesus we are a true favoured son of the Reach we need one more

Taking on a trip for the duration of the thread.
4 events...so give a 3d6 for the 1st one

Rolled 5, 5, 6 = 16 (3d6)

Rolled 2, 3, 2 = 7 (3d6)

Fucking GLORY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! KARBAN MOVE OVER WE THE NEW LUCKIEST HOUSE!

-Favor
-Glory
-Ascent
-Glory

So, 4d6 for the first, 4d6 for the second, 3d6, and then 4d6.

Glory again, sheeeiiit, guess Karban is about to get a real contender.
So...give 4d6 for the 1st favor

Rolled 4, 2, 5, 5 = 16 (4d6)

Rolled 1, 1, 3, 1 = 6 (4d6)

Bahahaha.

Yeah I roll crazy good for this shit. Just ask House Malroy about that.

That takes us to 44 influence, 32 lands, 33 power, and 36 wealth. Need another 4d6 for the first Glory.

Rolled 2, 5, 5 = 12 (3d6)

I already know sleepy, im a regular.

Rolled 4, 1, 6, 4 = 15 (4d6)

Rolled 6, 3, 5, 3 = 17 (4d6)

Oh ok. Still fucking ridiculous though yeah?

Rolled 6, 1, 1, 4 = 12 (4d6)

We'll save that for the 3d6 shall we?

A 3d6 for the 3rd event

Oh shit you're right. I was looking at ascent on the table. Could you tally this up sleepy? I'm not not too used to these tables.

It's all 4d6 mate. Every. Single. Event.

No, our influence is 40. Not 30.

And why not? Good rolls are fun.

Rolled 2, 1, 5, 5 = 13 (4d6)

Rolled 3, 6, 3, 3 = 15 (4d6)

Ascent gives us 4d6 for Influence, Lands, Power and Wealth

Next time answer naked gets them to leave real quick.

Oh my god I'm gonna have a fucking fit user.

The dice he took already had the +10 into the roll.
You only put the modifier of the Realm once.

He didn't. Look.

Oh no, you're right. I was looking at the wrong roll. I need to get to bed.

Defense

I was half naked with a raging boner because I had my morning wank while doing this and the guy didn't even flinch, gotta give him props.

Anyway time to buy your stuff.

Also we are at 52 influence. Not 42.

Also don't we get to roll a die to add to a stat?

No, I was wrong. The user who rolled the first thirty had the +10 included to start with.

But I think this might be correct.

Do towns cost lands or population?

Lands.

Does population buy you anything then? Or is it just to describe your number of people? Anyway, in that case I say.

>Lands: 33
>Plains: 28
>Small Town: 8
>Coast: 5
>Grassland: 4
>River: 1
>Stream: 0

But idk. Reach doesn't seem to have a lot to work with.

Population is mainly used for the House Fortunes modifier, though it was hardly every used in that way. Most of the time it's a quick trade to get Power.

Do you have the tables for power/defense btw?

I don't think there's one for those, the only other stats that gives a mod to Fortune is Law. I might be blind though. Also I don't see where a bonus die is given at the house creation phase

And what those bonus do, or something like that.

Is there one of these for a nobleman's personal deeds of note and backstory?

Yes, there's something like that, but wouldn't want you to finish the Houses 1st? Since no one provided options for the lands other than I guess we could continue on.

The Defence points are most likely spent into a small castle?

docs.google.com/document/d/1qm-psOSbKz_FbT9XpMXcNfwuOLmSRokmevgt9jkMVzo/edit?pref=2&pli=1
There's also Father's list of homebrew holdings that could be used

Absolutely.

Okay then, here's the PDF with most of the holdings one can buy. Influence can be the next stat worked on or could be passed for now. Will post the table for buying heirs next.

Tower+hall?

bit tired of Minmaxing the crap out of these houses

Heirs.

Why not, a goal would be to build a wall around them to turn the thing into a real castle. Wouldn't take long with the dice loving this House.

I'd say going for the Hall near one end of the area we live in would work with a Tower to work as a guard post for the other area, maybe with some townships nearby to help supply it. Give us some measure of holding up our lands you know? After all fortifications are needed for defending certain areas.

Christ we have so much influence...in that case we better fort up with so many kids!

>First Born Son -20
>Second Born Son -10
>First Born Daughter -10

Should leave us with two influence left so more peeps to work with.

Rolled 1 (1d6)

Agreed. Also rolling for extra Wealth the god stat for a house.

Sounds like a lot what Harrock did, worked well enough, fits with the favor given after one of the Rebellion

Sounds good, sounds good. HEy anyone ever thought of trying to run a GoT game without a house? Maybe even establishing the house during the timeline and see where that leads?

Most the time these threads seem to devolve into doing minor house things against a bigger background of the main story line events. Which is cool and all, but it would be nice to maybe switch it up a bit, play after the television score or something along those lines, is that too much to ask?

>SleepyAnon gets a 1 on a roll for shekels.
This is something you don't see everyday

I shall commit sudoku as atonement. May my blood wash away the sin.

>GoT game without a house?
Someone did, it lasted a thread. Can't find it on suptg.

Wonder why GoT game threads dont last that long...

I mean its a rather fun world to poke around in, though I do wonder as to why the techonology level had petered off where it has.
