I don't understand this preview method. give us the full card, man.

Between the vampire edgelord and the vampire bitch, I hope Arlinn gets to join the Jacetice League so I can see more weremilf. Like, hell, she doesn't always have to be a transform card, as long as she gets more time in the limelight, I'm fine.

Shit, I mean rock bitch

Did you watch MIB 2 recently, OP?

People really did call Emrakul months ago, though. Most people HOPED it wasn't true, but we all suspected it.

>>Veeky Forums still waifufags bitchcunt Nahiri
FTFY

>I hope Arlinn gets to join the Jacetice League so I can see more weremilf

I would like that, it would be more interesting that setting her Thalia and whoever else as Avacyn 2.0 just to be killed on Innistrad 3.

But realistically

>Implying werewolves are allowed to have good things

I have a feeling the flip requirement is too hard they just hyped the backside.

new thread, emrakul a shit, holy fuck that card is terribad, can't even do one thing well, for its cost newlamog is better so its not even gonna see play in shit, can't mindslaver properly without casting it from hand. so reanimator is right out, and it doesn't even shuffle back into the deck, i mean holy fucksauce.

I just want people to make more art of her
Maybe make her popular enough to warrant porn.
I just wanna touch fluffy tail

show front side

It's not spoiled yet.

its probably shit.

>Like Arlinn and wolves and shit
>"So cool a flipwalker and those are some nice plusses"
>Play 2 Arlinns on Naya tokens since it adds nice utility and more token generation
>Hoping for some more useful wolf token shit, I traded 2 more Arlinns, just in case shit gets expensive like Nahiri
>We get this instead

Well at least I got them for cheap.

>I just wanna touch fluffy tail

Love dem fluffy tails too.

Ok, I'll get right on that.

...

>Blue instead of white

I bet some of the designers in Wizards get off this shit or do it just to laugh and fuck over competitive players, like the designers in Yugioh.

Seriously fuck Yugioh designers.

This set is going to be good.

And unlike most werewolves, Arlinn won't maul you during sex or non-lewd cuddles
Damn, this is detailed as fuck
>One tentacle has a bunch of cathars attatched, their arms free to swing around the weapons in their hands
>Even has chunks of the wall they were probably stationed on
>Other tentacle has a baby and a hand clutching it, possibly its mother
>Statue of a man on a horse, probably from the town center
>Wall ramparts surrounding the main body
It's good for Jeskai, which is what people were using Nahiri for in the first place

>Standard

Which Titan will you be using on the inevitable Nahiri decks on the future?

>Emrakul
>13/13 with flying and trample that can't be fucked up by Stasis Snare of Clip Wings, but no effect when summoned to the field with her ultimate

>Ulamog
>10/10 that exiles 2 permanents and it's indestructible, but can be fucked up by stasis snare or other instants

>Kozilek
>Refills hand and got self protection assuming you have the correct cards in hand to negate

>It attacks for 13

In that same arm is the thing this guy is wielding too. Kinda cool.

More eldrazi looking like this and were good.

>WE BLOODBORNE NOW
might be cool if there's a doll.

None of them really mesh well with Nahiri's ult seeing how they all need to be cast. You just get big beaters really.

It can be affected by Clip Wings due to it targeting the player, not Emrakul.
>>It attacks for 13
HOLY SHIT

no, Ulamog eats your deck when it swings.

none of them trigger there abilities, because all of their abilities are on cast.

That said, I'd expect 1 or two of each, with you pulling one depending on how the fights going. Pull Emrakul, crack for 13 then next time you cast her you empty a full grip out doing frustrating shit to them. Pull Ulamog, hit for 10 and mill them a bunch if they've been on a tempo focused 2 or 3 beaters plan, pull Kozilek if they only have 1 creature untapped and waiting and/or need to refill your grip for when you cast him.

Is it squid time now?

>No mana cost
So you just cascade into this and swing for 13?

What the fuck are they thinking?

It's the back side of a dual-faced card.

Stop being dumb on purpose.

Would Veeky Forums mind becoming an tentacle monster if it comes with a cute gf?

Outside of sex I think being a tentacle monster would be very annoying and boring.

Iunno, swinging around with a gorillion noodle arms would be fun.

is comfy

please WoTC... I'm begging you, DON'T LET THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS CARD MAKE IT SHIT

PLEASE

depends am i stuck at eel sized can i get bigger, also how different are a squids senses then ours?

According to the number of the card it's front side must be red or red/something.

Is red going to be good again?

Make Red Great Again!

Going by BB lore you can probably turn into a giant squid being that can even travel to the stars like the Daughter of Kozmos or the Spider dude.
But I suppose that would depend on your dedication to the dark arts.

Otherwise I guess you would just fat up and turn into a neet squid.

So the transform symbol is different, that means there's got to be some kind of new mechanic that flips it
My guess is some kind of combine or corruption effect

It has haste, so that means it must be able to transform pretty quickly, or otherwise have some weird way of entering transformed.

I doubt it's going to be cheap though. 13 combined power, most of that with trample?

It could be like the Magic Origins planeswalkers in that it gets removed from the game and returns transformed.

>There are people trapped in its limbs

youtube.com/watch?v=BncJ1yX-BgQ

THE SKY AND THE COSMOS ARE ONE

You can see a whole dude in the left tentacle.

>Those kids
I love the detail on this and the perspective.

people, animals, mostly buildings and weapons

I don't feel like they really captured the distance well enough. The houses all look tiny.

I find that kind of charming even if the distance is fucked.
I want a story about those two kids, did they escape from Hanweir as shit was going down? Did they go towards it thinking it was a safe haven?

>red/something
Multicolored cards are after green in collector number.
>red
It's possible but that would require a low Eldrazi count, which given that Emrakul is 006 in this while Eldrazi Mimic was 002 in a set with only 20 less cards I think we can imagine quite a few will be present, over 10 definitely.

Following Oath's rough formula there would be about 32 cards per color and having the Eldrazi end at 10 would put 130 firmly in the color of red, but if the Eldrazi number nearly 20 like BFZ it could be in the first couple green cards.

It could be a Madness card. That would be neat.

really hoping lands matter. tokens/lands with ormendahl and hanweir
NICE

I don't think it's that bad for a regular deck but it's a disappointing legendary.

They really need a legendary werewolf who helps control your werewolves flipping or a legendary creature who works well with transform cards in general. That would be a fun EDH deck to pilot, and it could be the crux of a fun 60 card deck too.

It is most definitely not a land, it can't be. That would require either a restructuring of the collector's number system or a set with 75 lands in it. Given that golds don't end until at least 191 there's no way 130 can be a land.

Well, corruption of the world due to the presence of otherworldly power is a lot more interesting than turning everything into bismuth or chalk I'll give them that, I'll miss all the cute eldrazi from BFZ though and that one philosopher eldrazi that got stuck on a shitty card.

They blew their load early for that though with grier reach bandit

Where did you find this image? I'm really loving the art in this set so far.

>and that one philosopher eldrazi that got stuck on a shitty card.

What?

Oracle of Dust

I love the trend of giving shitty blue cards an ability a prohibitive cost and then not even letting them get a card off of it.

Don't forget the argument that tg is bad at predicting what cards will be good

Ah yes, the cool art stuck on a shitty card syndrome.

Everyone is bad at predicting what cards will be good

I remember when a huge amount of people were saying Mental Misstep was godawful and LOOK AT IT NOW

And Stoneforge Mystic was a bulk rare for a long-ass time

hanweirchronicle.com/

That's a fact, not even an argument.

>Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is casual shit, does nothing
>Ormendahl, Profane Princ is casual shit, cost too high to transform
>Chandra Flamecaller is shit, cost too high, does nothing, red is meme
>Kalithas, Traitor of Geth is a shitty Anafenza
>Duskwatcher Recruit it's a shitty furry card

And so on...

I still know people that think MM is a terrible card. Think it doesn't actually do anything relevant in or against their friends' 4 sol ring "casual" decks because sol ring isn't that good according to them.

I'm still struggling to find a game that Veeky Forums has any decent grasp on honestly.

Please let there be good Spirit tribal cards in this set. We've been so patient

>sol ring isn't that good according to them
You should cheat one (or two, in non-singleton formats) into your opening hand just to prove a point

Honestly, who thinks that adding 2 mana on a 1CMC card is not good? Who are these people

My older brother has called quite a few significant cards that became unexpectedly popular. He picked up Deathrites when they were $1.50 each, for instance. He told me to get Falkenrath Aristocrats before they exploded in price, and predicted the hype on Vryn's Prodigy when it was announced. There are some people with the gift.

I usually listen to him.

There are exceptions to every rule, sure, but MAN do people (including me) misjudge cards

What's worse on the misjudge department?

Getting expensive/mid expensive cards because they were hyped to be really good on the future and then they turn out to be bulk tier that nobody wants.

Or hoarding a big quantity of supposedly really good cards that you think are good, with the purpose of making a good profit margin, but they never get good and you're stuck with them as bulk.

>Playing magic like it's the stock market
Why?

Why not?

I don't even use my paychecks for bills anymore, I pay all my bills with Yugioh stock market profit because it's really easy to predict what's gonna be shit, what's it's a big buck and the market still it's alive.

Magic is more tricky though, but scg helps by hyping really shitty cards sometimes, making a buck or two of bulk before the first pro tour, but most of the time the obvious good cards are already expensive.

Whatever works for you I guess. I'd rather be playing the game

But why you can't play the game and make money?
I don't understand your logic.

...

Other side of the card is guaranteed to be shit

Given that Grasp of Darkness is still a thing I'm not entirely convinced that the flip side isn't shit.

this is no more white than it is blue.
White has like two cards that return something from exile, and blue has about the same amount.

I see somebody's been reading SCP-610

Yeah, but it was also set up by Nahiri, so it fits better there fluff-wise as well.

>"yo that fleshy, living thing must be a safe haven"
>"dude you're right praised be Avacyn"

The problems of Innistrad having no schools

>baby
Where? I can't find it.

Could this thing be the result of the one ooze in SoI? It did have touches of pink/purple in its sludge already and was in the middle of a town and this thing is an eldrazi ooze after all.

theres probably gonna be a shitload of dolls there were none in SOI

>
it was just emrakul fucking up a whole town over a long period of time via control of its leaders. see: hanweir chronicle
when emmy arose it completed the process

bernouts just sore people are making money rather than getting handouts

Town'rakul

As awesome as shit like this is, I thought the Eldrazi's sole purpose was to just consume all the life on a given plane, like just make a bunch of brood lineage goons and start eating everything.

Like why is Memerakul bothering to control everyone's minds and turn them all into tentacle monsters? Is that somehow more efficient than just doing what she did on Zendikar? Can she do both? Why didn't she do both on Zendikar? Is she stronger on Innistrad than she was on Zendikar? Do Nahiri's structures somehow amplify her power or were they just there to help summon her? I'd like to think that her mind-warping powers are just a natural byproduct of her presence, but the most recent lore makes it sound like she has some kind of vested interest in not just eating Innistrad, but...I dunno, corrupting it? Having it all "become Her"? And then eating it?

Again, all the new Eldritch Moon art is really cool and I appreciate that they're doing something visually different, but does this make any sense at all in-universe?

she's trying to rebuild after losing ulamog and kozilek

lore-wise, why does nahiri want emrakul on any plane or anywhere near her? wasnt she part of the 3 that sealed them in the first place? what am I missing

she's irrationally mad at Sorin.

>what am I missing
There's been a lot of new Nahiri/Sorin lore that's been recently established explaining her motivation. I'll give you the short version.

>Nahiri, Sorin and Ugin lock up the Eldrazi
>They all pinky promise to come back if the Eldrazi ever get out
>Nahiri stays on Zendikar to keep watch, and to send out a signal to Ugin/Sorin so that they can come help
>Fast-forward a few thousand years
>The Eldrazi start to break free
>Nahiri wakes up and stops them, but for some reason Sorin and Ugin didn't show up (Ugin was basically dead)
>She goes to Innistrad to find Sorin and ask him why he didn't show up, he just brushes her off
>She gets mad and attacks him, he locks her in the Helvault
>Fast-forward to Avacyn Restored
>Nahiri gets out of the Helvault and goes back to Zendikar to find it all fucked up by the unleashed Eldrazi
>She blames Sorin (not knowing it was actually Nissa's fault) and vows to get revenge
>Goes back to Innistrad and brings Emrakul there to get back at Sorin

I think that's about it.

more like 'everything I love got fucked and it's your fault'
which is a little true. And "all my shits fucked, so now everyone else's shit gets fucked, starting with you you fuck".

So she decides to doom an entire plane of innocent people to annihilation because of it?
What a cunt.

Yeah, that's planeswalkers for you.

She does this petty shit while some dude who doesn't even live there gets a group together to stop the threat and save her plane.

She's stellar.

I wonder how Wizards will try to spin it to make her seem sympathetic
