This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a thirteen year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

Leaving the flaming wreckage of the enemy submarine trapped beneath the water and crushed beneath rock, you and your friends rush down the long passageway in front of you, moving forward into the darkness.

It isn't dark for long, as lights begin to turn on above you, and the passageway is soon illuminated.

"That's weird," Bulma comments. "I didn't think anybody lived here."

Krillin's eyes go wide with excitement, and you see him trembling with something other than fear for a change.

"What's gotten into you?" Bulma asks him.

"Don't you know what this is?" Krillin asks.

"A cave?" Goku guesses.

"Not just any cave," Krillin tells him. "The pirate cave!"

"Pirate cave?" Bulma asks skeptically. "What are you talking about?"

"There was a pirate who terrorized the ocean not too far from here," Krillin explains. "His great strength and terrible stench were legendary. He disappeared a year ago, and people have been looking for his treasure ever since. They say it was hidden in a cave that nobody but the pirates could find."

Now Bulma looks interested. "Treasure?"

Krillin nods excitedly. "More valuable than you could imagine!"

>A. Mention that you fought a smelly pirate a year ago

>>A. Mention that you fought a smelly pirate a year ago

You tell Krillin that you fought a smelly pirate about a year ago.

"You did?" Krillin asks excitedly.

"You did?" Bulma asks. "Was it close to here?"

You'd swam halfway across the ocean at the time, but you're pretty sure a pirate ship could have easily traveled that distance. Besides, the big pirate guy was pretty strong, and smelled almost as bad as that Bacterian guy Goku fought in the tournament.

You give your friends some basic information, and Krillin grows more excited by the minute, while Bulma gradually looks less skeptical. You suppose her hearing a firsthand account from you is more convincing to her than an old story coming from Krillin.

"You see?!" Krillin asks excitedly. "We've really found it!"

Bulma grins. "Then let's find the Dragonball, and that treasure!"

Bulma and Krillin run forward excitedly, only for Bulma to yelp and fall onto her rear as Krillin ducks beneath a spear.

The two of them sit, trembling with fear, looking in the direction of the weapon that almost killed Krillin.

As you and Goku get closer, you can see the walls lined with holes, and the floor lined with tiles of some kind.

"It's a trap," you announce.

"GEE, YOU THINK?!" Bulma screams.

Krillin gulps and quickly scrambles backward, standing up and hyperventilating for a moment, as Goku looks at him strangely, perhaps feeling as you do and thinking that Krillin is simply overreacting.

Bulma gets up, putting her hands on her hips and looking down at the floor. "Yeah, looks like the trap is pressure-activated. We'll have to go over it."

"No problem," Goku says, getting a running start and leaping over the tiled floor.

"Goku, wait, use your Power Po-" Bulma starts before Goku lands safely on the other side. "Nevermind."

"Come on, you guys!" Goku calls. "You can make it!"

"Okay, here I come!" Krillin shouts, also getting a running start and jumping.

Unfortunately, Krillin jumps too high, and slams his head on the ceiling, falling down and landing at the very edge of the safe area. He windmills his arms, barely keeping himself from falling back into the trap.

You pick up Bulma, who yelps in surprise, getting her in a princess carry and running, jumping right over the trap with her, and landing safely on the other side.

"Thanks," Bulma tells you as you set her down.

"You're welcome," you tell her.

Krillin rubs his head, and you ask him if he's okay. He assures you that he's just fine, and that it's just what he gets for being able to jump so high.

"That was fun," Goku laughs.

"For you, maybe," Krillin tells him.

You tell everyone to watch out for traps as the four of you continue down the corridor. The group moves slowly and cautiously, wary of some new danger.

Fortunately, you don't find any more traps, and soon you come to the end of the tunnel, finding yourself in a massive room.

There are piles of crates stacked everywhere, a pool of water with a fairly large submarine sitting in it, and even a tall building that stretches almost all of the way up to the ceiling.

"Wow!" Bulma says. "They have an entire port down here."

"Think this is where they keep their treasure?" Krillin asks.

"Well, they probably would have unloaded it here, at least," Bulma answers, taking a look around. "Maybe some of it's in these crates, but I'm guessing the rest is in that building."

>A. Suggest that everybody go search

>B. Ask where the radar says the ball is

>C. Tell them to keep an eye out for traps in here

>D. Something else

>B. Ask where the radar says the ball is

>B. Ask where the radar says the ball is

>>B. Ask where the radar says the ball is

You ask Bulma where the radar says the ball is.

She takes a look at the device, then points across the room. "There's another tunnel over there. Apparently, the Dragonball's at the end of it."

"Well, then, let's go get it," Goku suggests.

You hear the sound of something hitting the ground nearby.

Goku and Krillin hear it too, as they both freeze and look around, while Bulma gives you all a confused look.

"What is it?" she asks.

"Something's in here with us," Goku explains, scanning the room with his eyes.

Bulma looks around, frowning as she sees nothing.

"Come on, guys, you're being paranoid, there's no-"

Something comes barreling from around the submarine, not exactly running, but more sliding on its feet.

It's not human, that's for sure. It's much taller than any of you, with a long, skinless skull with a skull and crossbones painted on it, black eyes with red dots glowing in them, and a mouth that includes some wicked looking sharp teeth.

Its body is mostly green, with some brown on its shoulders and tail. Its arms are the same white as its skull, and in its right hand is a massive sword. Its left ends in a cannon, not unlike that of Orange's mech.

The number two is written on each of its feet, and it moves in a fairly jerky motion.

"Yo, ho!" the thing says in a mechanical voice, raising its gun-arm and letting a barrage of bullets fly your way.

Everyone leaps away from the blast, and Bulma takes cover behind some crates. The machine begins to turn its attention to her.

Goku and Krillin break into a charge.

>A. Join them

>B. Go check on Bulma

>C. Ready a Kamehameha

>D. Something else

>C. Ready a Kamehameha

>>C. Ready a Kamehameha

Goku and Krillin keep up their charge, and you cup your hands at your side. You believe that this is a tough opponent, and the safest measure is to take it out quickly.

Goku and Krillin both jump, Goku punching the machine in the head, and Goku kicking it in the side of the mouth.

It doesn't even flinch at Goku's punch, and while Krillin's kick gets it to turn its head just a bit, it does no damage.

"Ka.....me....." you begin.

The machine swings its massive sword at the boys, who do a backflip in unison and land side by side. They charge at the robot, who lets loose another barrage of bullet fire.

Goku and Krillin move out of the way, which results in the bullets striking you.

You scream in pain at the shots throw you to the ground, packing much more power than a regular bullet.

You keep your hands at your side, not giving up on your attack.

Goku leaps up at the robot, punching it in the head again as Krillin gets behind it. The bald fighter springs off the wall of the nearby building, and hits the machine in the back, causing it to slide forward.

"Ha....me...." you continue, rising to your feet.

The machine turns around, swinging at your friends again with its sword. Goku ducks beneath the strike, and Krillin manages to punch the sword from the machine's hand before following up with a spin kick aimed at its face.

The machine quickly slides backward, avoiding the attack and ending up right in front of you.

"HAAAAA!" you scream, thrusting your hands toward the machine and unleashing your Kamehameha Wave.

It's a direct hit, and there's a loud explosion accompanied by a great deal of smoke.

The machine's tail emerges from the smoke, wrapping around you and pinning your arms to your sides.

>A. Try to break free (85)

>B. Bear Shout

>C. Something else

>B. Bear Shout

>A. Try to break free (85)

Deadlock

>bear shout

You open your mouth wide, channeling the same power that you use in your Kamehameha upward, directing it to your mouth.

You see a yellow glow work its way up the machine's tail, and when it reaches you, your body begins to convulse in pain. Electricity shoots through your body, and you cry out as your body thrashes every which way trying to escape it.

But, you've had worse.

Fighting through the pain, you focus on your attack, and let out a roar, unleashing your Bear Shout technique on the machine, causing another explosion and putting out more smoke.

The tail unwraps from you, and you fall to the ground, fighting to catch your breath. Between the exertion of using two Kamehameha Waves and a Bear Shout in such a short duration, and being electrocuted, you aren't feeling so good.

The smoke clears to reveal the machine still in one piece. While your attacks left some nasty looking scorch-marks, they don't seem to have done any real damage.

"Walk the plank," the machine tells you, swinging its tail.

You jump over it, flipping and landing a good distance from the machine.

"This thing isn't giving up, is it?" Krillin asks.

"I don't think so," Goku answers, yelling and running at the machine.

The robot fires at Goku, and Krillin attempts to attack while Goku has it distracted. As Krillin leaps at the machine, however, it punches Krillin in the face, sending him slamming to the ground.

Krillin quickly gets back up, and Goku leaps into the air, descending and drawing his Power Pole. The machine looks up, and catches the staff as Goku swings it.

The robot turns, flinging Goku away, and dropping the staff before sliding toward him.

Goku gets up and runs up some nearby stairs, fleeing down a catwalk as the machine gives chase.

>A. Grab the machine's tail

>B. Look around for something that could help

>C. Chase after the machine and attack while it's focused on Goku

>D. Something else

>B. Look around for something that could help

>B. Look around for something that could help

>>B. Look around for something that could help
Let's use our head, but not the way Goku usually uses his.

As the machine chases Goku, jumping into the water and surfing across it in pursuit of the little monkey-tailed boy, you decide to look around and see if there's anything that could help turn the tide.

The first thing you notice is the submarine, which has a rather large looking cannon on top of it.

Krillin seems to have noticed as well, as he grabs Bulma by the hand and begins running toward it with her.

It's a good start, but if that thing could shrug off a Kamehameha Wave and Bear Shout, the cannon might not be enough.

For some reason, there's an oil truck on the other side of the room. Crashing that thing into the robot, or blowing it up next to the machine might do some damage.

You also notice how tall the building is, if you could get to the roof and jump off of it, the momentum might let you land a really good hit.

And, maybe there's more weapons in the building.

>A. Go to the cannon with Krillin and Bulma

>B. Go to the oil truck, and drive it toward the robot

>C. Go climb to the roof of the building, and try to lead the robot to it

>D. Go search the building for something useful

>E. Something else

>>A. Go to the cannon with Krillin and Bulma

You decide that Krillin has the right idea, so you rush toward the cannon.

Meanwhile, Goku continues to flee from the machine, which gives chase from the water below.

Goku suddenly screeches to a halt, and the machine keeps going, slamming into a wall and getting stuck in it.

"Alright!" Bulma cheers. "That was awesome, kid!"

You reach your friends, and look over to see Goku staring down at the machine.

"What's wrong?" Bulma asks.

The machine wriggles around, then pulls itself free of the wall, turning its gun on Goku and beginning to shoot again.

Goku starts running, and Bulma rushes to the cannon, taking aim and firing.

The shot kicks up a lot of smoke, obscuring your vision, but Bulma seems to think she made a direct hit, as she starts celebrating.

You and Krillin look closer, and find that what she hit was Goku, who sits dizzily on the catwalk.

The machine, which wasn't hit, turns its attention to the three of you, and begins to charge in your direction.

Bulma fires the cannon again, but the machine moves with incredible speed, avoiding the blast and circling around to the front of the submarine, where it leaps up to the deck in front of you.

Bulma fires again, but the machine manages to dodge this shot as well, and the only thing that ends up getting hit is the wall.

The machine starts shooting again, prompting Bulma and Krillin to leap off the ship.

You rush toward the machine, weaving around to avoid the flurry of bullets being sent your way.

It's been a little while since you've used this attack, and you aren't sure how much good it will do you, but it's worth a try.

You picture a wolf running alongside you as you close in on your opponent, and you hear its howling in your ear as you strike, starting with a punch to the machine's midsection.

You follow up with a fast series of claw-strikes and punches, ending with a double-palm strike to the machine's chest.

It doesn't seem to do much damage, but it does push the machine off the deck and into the water.

"Tofoo!"

You look over to see Goku grab his Power Pole and start toward the water.

"Take Bulma and Krillin to find the Dragonball, I'll take care of the robot."

>A. Alright

Wait, aren't we technically the captain of the crew that owns this area? Why don't we mention that?

You killed most of the crew and wrecked their ship, nobody came back to tell everyone what happened.

I like 18 as a snarky, dry-humored young woman with cyborg parts who was designed to hunt down super saiyans. I'm concerned that by waifuing Lazuli we'll never get 18, but by not waifuing Lazuli we'll get Bulma.

Who's fine and all, but wouldn't be my preference. It'd probably go 18 > Bulma > Lazuli.

Tearful reunion with 18/Lazuli in Z when?

>Tearful
>We barely met her and chased her, scaring her and pissing off her brother

You dreaming son

Is this the real life or is this just fantasy?

"Alright," you say, hopping off the submarine and rushing after Bulma and Krillin, who make their way out of the room in pursuit of the Dragonball.

As the three of you rush down another corridor, you see chunks of rock fall from the ceiling, crashing to the floor.

"If we don't find this Dragonball soon, we're history," Krillin comments.

"We can't turn back now," Bulma tells him. "We need that Dragonball!"

You come to the end of the hallway, which ends up being another hallway. You can either go left or right.

"The radar says we're practically on top of the ball," Bulma announces, looking to the right. "It's in that direction."

You and her start that way, but Krillin stops.

"Krillin, come on!" Bulma tells him.

"Just a second," he replies, picking up a rock and using it to carve an arrow into the floor. "This way, Goku can find us."

"Good thinking," Bulma compliments before the three of you continue on.

It's not that long before you come to the end of this corridor, finding yourselves staring down into a well.

"Great," Bulma groans.

>A. Ask if she packed a bathing suit

>B. Strip down to your underwear and jump in

>C. Jump in in your clothes

>D. Tell them to go ahead, you'll stay here and wait for Goku

>E. Something else

Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality

>B. Strip down to your underwear and jump in

>B, but drop a rock in first to make sure there is water in it

>B. Strip down to your underwear and jump in

You take off your clothes until you're in nothing but your underwear, and dive into the well. Bulma and Krillin follow, and the three of you swim downward.

In the distance, you spot a light, and the three of you swim toward it. It's a longer distance than you'd like, and by the time you reach your destination, your lungs feel ready to explode.

You gasp for air as you surface in another room, looking up at a multi-armed statue carrying swords.

In front of the statue sits three chests of different colors.

You climb out of the water, followed by Krillin, who's in his underwear, and Bulma, who's in a red bikini.

The second you step onto dry land, a sword flies from the statue, hitting the ground in front of you.

>A. Pick up the sword

>B. Dodge if more swords come

>C. Try not to stare at Bulma, but stare a lot

>D. Something else

>A. Pick up the sword
C is stupid as we've seen her in a bikini multiple times

>A. Pick up the sword

>B, if none come A

>C. Try not to stare at Bulma, but stare a lot

I mean we're what, 12? Come on.

13, but this user does have a point

Tofoo is a healthy young man. You don't just grow out of hot girls in bikinis.

>A. Pick up the sword
>C. Try not to stare at Bulma, but stare a lot

You pick up the sword in front of you, sneaking a quick peek at Bulma before turning your attention back to the statue.

Another sword shoots out, but you deflect it with the one you're holding. Another comes, but you deflect that one as well. Over and over swords are thrown at you, and each time you knock them away.

You swear you can see the statue sweating as it throws its last sword, and you deflect it just as easily. Then, somehow, a sword shoots from its nose.

But, you deflect that one too.

The statue's run out of tricks, and the treasure is yours. It should be in one of the chests in front of you.

"Be careful," Bulma warns as you approach them.

"Oh, relax," Krillin tells her. "If Tofoo could handle old ten-arms, he can handle anything."

There are three chests in front of you.

>A. Open the gold chest

>B. Open the blue chest

>C. Open the plain chest

>C. Open the plain chest
I don't remember the episode, but if this is the correct one then I'm not surprised Toriyama used folklore for a riddle also there's no way Bulma tits are that big

Ask Bulma to use the radar to check if the ball is in one of the chest.

That thing got super precise.

>>C. Open the plain chest

You open the plain chest, and find it mostly empty. Only a single object sits at the bottom of it.

A key.

You pick the key up and look around, spotting what looks like a lock at the base of the statue that just tried to kill you.

You insert the key into the lock and turn it, standing back as gems begin to fall from the mouth of the statue.

"It's beautiful," Bulma sighs.

"Amazing," Krillin agrees.

"Do you know what this means?" Bulma asks.

"No, what?" Krillin asks.

"We're rich!" Bulma declares.

"Wait, you're already rich," Krillin reminds her.

"Well, now I'm even richer!" she cheers.

"Actually, I believe you're both mistaken," a voice says from behind you. "This treasure is property of the Red Ribbon Army."

You turn around to see a tall, muscle-bound man with blonde hair and blue eyes stepping toward you, smirking devilishly as he looks between the three of you.

"Now, step away from the treasure, and tell me exactly where the Dragonball is, and I'll let you live," he declares.

>A. Tell him that if he wants the Dragonball, he'll have to go through you

Can't we just poke him with our tongue in the side of the neck?

Seconding.

>>C. Ask his name
>B. Ask Krillin if he wants to take this one

Are you a a tree-surfing mercenary with a kick-ass ponytail?

Don't we still have a sword on us? We should throw it at him.

"Let me guess, you're General Yellow?" you ask him.

"No, I am General Blue, but good to know you've heard of our organization, because we've certainly heard of you," the man tells you.

"Krillin, let's take him together," you tell your friend.

He nods confidently. "Right."

"Oh no, what ever shall I do?" Blue asks mockingly before dropping into a fighting stance. "Alright boys, let's see what you've got."

>>youtube.com/watch?v=t-Gs-evnBnM

Krillin strikes first, charging at Blue and making a jump kick aimed at the General's face. Blue leans to the side, and Krillin lands behind him. Your friend springs to attack Blue from behind, but the General leaps into the air to avoid the hit.

You throw your sword up at Blue, and his eyes widen before he leans back to duck beneath it, reaching up and grabbing the hilt.

He lands and swings at Krillin, who rolls beneath the slash and kicks upward, only for Blue to lean back and kick him in the face.

Krillin rolls toward you, and Blue begins to advance, sword in hand.

on a side note I like that Som has given up on posting relevant pictures and is just posting waifus.

Thanks

You rush toward Blue, who confidently prepares to fight you, only to gasp in shock when you use the Afterimage technique and jump over him.

Landing behind the general, you jump and kick him in the back of the head, sending him crashing face-first to the ground.

He goes still for a moment, then stands, wiping his face. He pulls back his hand to see blood, and lets out an anguished cry.

"What is this?" he asks. "Blood? Oh, how disgusting!"

Blue whirls on you, glaring with absolute contempt. "MURDERER! You have killed my perfect looks, and for that, you will suffer!"

You get ready to defend yourself, and Blue plants his feet firmly on the ground. His muscles begin to bulge, and you get the feeling he's about to do something significant.

But, he doesn't get the chance, as Krillin is back on his feet, and takes the opportunity to catch Blue off-guard, kicking the General in the face and knocking him to the ground.

"Yeah! That's the way!" Bulma shouts. "Show this jerk not to mess with us!"

"Ah! You brute!" General Blue cries as he sits up. "Do you children have no concept of beauty? Defiling my perfect face by making it bleed. You may as well throw red paint on the Mona Lisa!"

"We're just getting started," Krillin tells him.

"Oh, on the contrary," Blue says. "You boys are finished."
