So I've been lazy and still haven't collected my free Bitcoin Gold or Cash coins yet. Should I sell them or keep them?

Sell for true king
sell if you can access them. good luck finding a wallet that won't steal your keys.
well this is part of the reason I haven't collected them yet. I have no idea how to get them safely in their own wallets
when the heck is coinbase going to give us ours? I didn't know how to make my own wallet and i trusted coinbase when they said they'd evelntually give us ours.
keep cash sell gold
Keep cash till koreans pump it again, sell gold
this :(
What wallet to use for Gold? I don't want to download the whole blockchain. Not worried about losing my keys because I'm not retarded and will move my coins.
You don't know how to make a wallet? Sell all your crypto now. Walk into a Charles Schwab or some shit and get into some automatic boring mutual fund. You will get eaten whole.
I exported my private key from exodus (emptied btc account) into coinomi on my kindle fire (since I don't have an android) then sent to bittrex and sold for XMR today.
I need to learn to do my own wallet. is the paper thing as good as the usbs? i'd rather spend the 100 dollars on more coin
no, i havnt used my brokerage acct in years
1. Move your bitcoin to a new, safe wallet
2. Install a wallet for your forked coins and type in your seed for your old wallet
3. Send your forked coins to an exchange and sell.
Done. Was that so hard?
how the fuck do i do that?
>send 1.0001 BTC to a new wallet
>it's now 0.999 because of transaction fees
REEEEEEEE
Cash keep.
Gold sell.
Everyone's saying dump gold, won't it eventually pump again?
You don't think BTG will get pumped at some point in the future?
exactly what I'm wondering
So you can still claim BCash?

Is this at all a good guide for electrum? I don't wanna get scammed...
Right, that's the one I meant to post. They link it lower. Has Electrum Cash been proven to be secure/not steal your coins?
I already used it. Just follow the directions, and use a different computer.
Is it possible to move the BCash to a wallet on the same computer holding the BTC eventually? Or is it a permanent different computer situation. I more just mean, since I plan to hold my BCash.
You split the BCash on a different comp then you can send it anywhere.
How do I find the right private key in Electrum? There's like 15 addresses and they're all showing a balance of 0.0 because I moved the Bitcoins to another wallet.
Nope. Never use that wallet again sends funds elsewhere beforehand.
So split on new system, send the now received funds to, say, a brand new Electrum Cash wallet running on the same system as Electrum, all is good?
I'm basically wanting both wallets on the same system, and I'm guessing after splitting and sending everything should be secure?
Thanks
Are there any BGold wallets that can scan private keys??
Everyone I found forces you to make a new wallet.
Also my keys are not made from mnemonic seeds
> 1. Move your bitcoin to a new, safe wallet
that transaction would probably cost me hundreds of dollars, if not thousands considering I have several hundred addresses with change dust in them
An exchange

Thank me.
Restore from seed
Split on new system, then send to a brand new Electron Cash wallet on the other system. Should be fine.
So is there any point to hold BTG or is everyone just dumping?

>several hundred addresses
Why?
its a russian website. or do you mean the app?
It's not Russian, it is a reliable website. Try a test.
There's good web and phone based apps coming out and being reviewed all the time. If you're buying and selling there has just been one, you may note for the future and keep an eye on, called revolut
You can read up on it here. Very reputable. They've just started to add crypto to it.
>trusted coinbase
people also trusted coinbase then they said they would give their user's info to the IRS
Transfer your bitcoin into another wallet.
Use your old private key and make a QR code out of it.
Download Coinomi in google app store.
Generate btx and btg wallets.
In the top right there is a menu select "empty paper wallet" there. Scan the Qr code. You will get your coins then.
After that send them to hitbtc and sell them for btc. Hitbtc has qr code addresses.
thanks, reading it now. aren't the phone apps less safe tho?
Awesome, thanks so much.
Theres no reason to run Electron Cash and Electrum on separate machines.
He means to send the original cashout of BCH on the separate system to the original system that has BTC on it.
so Cashout:
A: BTC
B: BCH
Post cashout:
A: BTC, BCH
B: BCH
Move BCH B -> BCH A is what I think he's saying.
that's what I ended up doing. Now to decide whether to sell or not...
