"Since the beginning of time, we, the Flower People, have lived in fear of the Sardaks! Their empire grows more fearsome with each passing day, and every tribe that dares to stand against them is annihilated or enslaved forever!"
"But now our legends have been proven true, for Maikadams and his friend Grug of the Warrior People have come to save us all! Tomorrow they will make their journey to the Sardak fortress, where Eve-Kar-Son is held prisoner!
"Before that, they must share our food! Come, eat!"
"Here, Maikadams! Please, eat our food!"
"I'm not usually much of a salad-eater... but I suppose, when in Rome- wait, what's that, by the doorway?"
"A Sardak spy!"
"No!"
"It cannot be!"
"Hurry, Grug! We need to catch him before he tells anyone else where the Flower People live!"
"Grug go this way! Mike go that way!"
"We'll meet up at this tree!"
"There he is! Thought you could slink into the swamp, did you? Just wait until I get my hands on h-"

but in the stone age...
"Maikadams! You have returned! Where is the Sardak spy?"
"You won't have to worry about him telling anyone."
"...and you rode the Great Eater all the way back? Truly you are the one with the power to free us from the Sardaks! But come - you must be very tired. Willa shall prepare bedding for you both."
"Are you comfortable, Maikadams?"
"Yes, thank you, Willa. Your people are very kind and generous."
"It is the least we can do for you, Maikadams. You are the one who will save us!"
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Grug and I still need to free E-"
"Please, Maikadams... do not speak of Eve-Kar-Son! She is far away, and I am here!"
"Willa... it's not that simple."
"Is it... you do not like the way I look?"
"No, Willa - you're a very pretty girl. But the thing of it is... where I come from... where Eve and I come from... a man of principle doesn't just-"

"I must go. Sleep well, Maikadams!"
"Willa, wait, I didn't mean to-"
"Millions of years in the past and the battle of the sexes is already in progress..."
"What that mean?"
"It means I know what you and Tala are feeling."
"Mike have good-heart for Eve?"
"I'm praying that she's alright."
...
"Thank you again for all you've done for us."
"No, Maikadams, do not thank me! We are in your debt. We will be thinking of you until you return."
"You say the Sardak fortress is only two days from here?"
"Yes, Maikadams. We have loaded your Life-Giver's packs with our food for your journey."
"Grug not like-"
"Grug and I both thank you for your generosity!"
"You will travel first to the Great Tree."
"The great-?"
"You will know it when you see it, for it is the largest tree in the world, far larger than even the Great Eater. There you will meet with a tribe which has pledged their loyalty to the Sardaks, but will aid you nevertheless."
"To get there you must cross a plain, and you will be in much danger, for the Sardak patrols watch the plain very closely."
"Is there any other way around to this Great Tree?"
"Near our home is a river, but it is very dangerous to cross. Though if you could, you might remain hidden in the jungle all the way to the Great Tree..."

"I think this Life-Giver might need a life-GUARD if we tried to cross a river... and I'm not up to the task! We'll stick to the plain. Are you ready, Grug?"
"Grug ready."
"Goodbye!"
"Farewell!"
"Thank you, Maikadams!"
[pteranodons shrieking in distance]
"Grug no see Sardaks. Mike think Flower People lie to Mike and Grug?"
"The thought had occurred to me as well. Maybe they're preoccupied somewhere else."
"This way!"
"Yes, Commander."
I will capture those escaped primates if it is the last thing I do!"
[creaking sounds]
"Are you sure you don't want any-"
"Grug not hungry."
"You haven't eaten all day."
"Grug not hungry for Three-Horn food."
"HROOOOOOOONK."
"Mike! Look!"
"I see it-"
"Hard to miss it!"
"It so tall! Flower People not lie!"
"They certainly didn't. They didn't exaggerate, either."
"Mike ever see anything tall as this?"
"Not for a long time. We called them skyscrapers."
"Welcome to the Great Tree, Maikadams..."
"What-?"
"We are the Galdak tribe. The Flower People told us to expect you."
"We will be happy to sneak you through the gates of the Sardak fortress."
...

OK, I'm awake again. I need to do some stuff before we can start up again but I should have something for you in a couple of hours.
Sorry, forgot about some things so this took a little while, plus I had NO IDEA where I was going to start back up, but now I think I've got most everything built. Should be back online in about 30 minutes.
[trumpeting noise]
"Grug think this very bad plan."
"Don't worry, Grug... I'm sure the Galdaks will get us in. The Flower People said they would."
"What is this? The pitiful Galdak tribe come crawling to the gates of the Sardak Empire? What do you want, Galdak?"
"We bring tribute, to the mighty Sardak emperor!"
"Tribute... what worthless garbage could you possibly offer as tribute? The sooner you are all gone, the better. Very well, open the gate!"
[trumpeting noise, rumbling]
"Grug still think this bad idea."
"Just keep calm and don't let them see that club."
"This place - what is this?"
"This where Sardaks keep slaves. These people no tribe, just slave since always."
"Alright, you got us inside. Now what?"
"Now we leave you."
"What?"
"We agreed to sneak you through the gates of the Sardak fortress, to repay our debt to the Flower People."
"What about Eve?"
"You primates, by the wall! Halt!"
"A Sardak patrol! Farewell, Maikadams. If you see the Flower People again, tell them our debt has been paid."
"Wait, come back-"
"Halt!"
Roll a d12 and link to this post for whatever you do, please!

"Fellas, I'm from a place called the land of the free... and I mean to keep myself that way!"
"That one has a weapon! Get it!"
"Sardaks not take Grug's club!"
"Grab it!"
"Grug and Mike... where Mike go?"
"Come on, Grug, no sense sticking around!"
"Mike always have smart idea!"
