To explain another way, an arm integrated with a machinegun holds a sword. It is effectively a sword arm until they drow that sword with a tap and switch to shooting.

There's a limitation here actually. An integrated kit skill on one arm only applies to the weapon it's holding. It's not possible to stack 4 kit skills on one weapon for example. 2 ..or 3 is about the highest possible.

Granted, Kit skills are exclusive to that kit. So Speedload on a Shotgun is not the same as Speedload on a Revolver. Skills are exclusive to the weapons you're holding.
