Honestly, I'm mostly gonna just find a cham and copy it, put the copy down and then do the same with an abirik cham(one month later). Then I'll wander while improving my skills with the local magic and taking apart those sent to kill me in the most low key ways I can. Try and make it look like they are unlucky and incompetent more than that I am better than them(though I am). Every month, make a new cham or abirik cham and feed it to my cupil. Honestly I just bought a couple of custom powers that are basically placeholders for when I eventually figure out what I want them to be. As for what I did during the jump, I did take the exam and became a hunter, but I then basically did nothing of note

Well, most people are pretty small minded so there's a lot you can do with perks, mutant powers, and sub-Wish D&D magic. For those who want to be beautiful or the like, you've got Biomancy and a couple Marvel combos to shapeshift people into what you want.

For those that want money, you can FMA up some gold.

For those who want X to love them, you can just use psionics to rewrite personalities and priorities.

The big thing is making sure you get what you want out of the deal, and making it clear just what happens if you're double crossed.
