GorkaMorka General

Gorkers are da best edition.

If you don't have dice you can hunt ebay or you can use a D6

Sustained Fire Die: Use a D3 except a 6 is a misfire
(1-2) = 1, (3-4) = 2, (5) = 3, (6) = Jam

Artillery Die (For Stikkbombz) use a D6 where a 6 is a misfire and 1-5 are inches scatter.

>Inb4 the rules are sacred and shouldn't be changed.

yooz can change da rulz if ya beat me in a pitfite, YA SQUIGBELLIED GIT!

>inb4 40k players need to change the rules.
Man I was checking some fan rules someone posted last thread about a Ork Bike Gang?

So shit, anyone using them should consider just going back to Kill Team.

What do you say to people who want to play Kill Teams but with the Gorka Morka vehicle rules

It blows his mind.

GORKERS GORKERS GORKERS

You're using what is basically 2nd edition rules 40k vehicle with current 40k, you're just to newfag to have been alive during that time so I'm not surprised by your ignorance.

Write you own shitty game imo.

>You're using what is basically 2nd edition rules 40k vehicle with current 40k
And that changes what he asked hoooooow...?

>2nd edition 40k had vehicles move 1-3 inches, then pivot 45 degrees, then move 1-3 inches
>then you can use thrusters

yeah... no... no it's not 2nd edition rules at all bud

You'd be playing a game that is so bad, you could glue your models and dice to your dicks and think up a better game.

Unfortunately you're 40kucks without an ounce of creativity in your bodies. Same reason you make digga gangs out of guardsmen and think it's A+ effort.

What's goin' on in dis 'fread, lads--

Oh, zog me, da bait's been set already! Abandon ship boyz!

>40kids literally want every game to be a shitty derivative of 40k.
You already have your own shitty thread, don't shit up this one too.

Yeah, it started early, but until some real discussion or mob pics get posted, there's nothing else to do but play with the bait.

I fucking love GorkaMorka but why don't we make Specialist Games General rather than just GorkaMorka General?

ZOG IT, IGNORE DA BAIT SQUIGS! IZ AN AMBUSH

because bloodbowl general would kill the specialist game general where every other game would be crushed beneath a spiky football

Why not just Skirmish General then? So GorkaMorka, Necromunda, Inquisitor and Mordheim

I've got a mob that I'm starting out with.

Gorkers
Trukk, Rokkit Launcha
Nob, Shoota, 'Uge Choppa, Flakk, Krakk Stikkbomb
Spanner (driver), Slugga, Choppa, Flakk
Boy (gunner), Two Choppaz, Flakk

Yoof, Kannon, Choppa
Yoof, Slugga, Choppa
Yoof, Choppa, Krak Stikkbomb

I've also got some sweet custom terrain I've been working on if you lads fancy a look

Then frostgrave would want to join in, and the kill team players.

Then warmahordes would get butthurt that it's "not a skirmish game", and infinity players would come in...

It's a cold world liking D6 based skirmish games my friend

...

Why give your driver and gunner armour? Their vehicle is the armour!

The rules should be changed to fit the group you're playing with. If they need things to be like modern 40K to wrap their heads around it then that's what you do.

Or just run the basic rules and tell them to read the damn books. They're easy rules.

What's bad about them?

drivers and gunners can still be shot though

Yep. So? When is it enough armour? Give them 'Eavy Armour and upgrade the armour on the truck. Better nail on some armour plate gubbinz too.

Or roll the dice and don't worry about it. Keep the gunner safe by having other crew onboard to get hit. The driver already has a 6+ save too (look at the damage table).

Oi wots dis boss? Dis post ain't orky!

Hello kind anons.
I have dysgraphea, and can't write for shit, and it's painful. Battlescribe doesn't have support. Short of typing it up in word, is their any options?

Stikkbombz wild is the best rule in the game, at least in my opinion.

Post your favourite rule.

Excel.

You type in like:
Nob 12
Spanner 6

you can even do a cell which has "=SUM(B:B)" and it counts your teef spent for you.

Probably the Dok stuff

yes, it's always funny when someone goes in with a missing arm and gets brain surgery

DA BIKEZ R DA BEST

Nice, What's that based off of? I need to make ork bikers.

No idea, it's some historical kit with shootas from the boy kit glued to it.

Damn, if you can find the historical kit it's from, I'd love to know.

Since chains and hooks are weapons in gorkamorka, I'm definitely going to convert up a nob to be roadhog from overwatch

Orkerwatch is a step too far

>We play all of our games in D&D 3.5 and will never change.

I was playing Gorkamorka when I was eight years old and I understood the rules.

/hwg/ has a good list of historical providers, I'd suggest starting by looking in the WW2 28mm section. Here's the link. For reference, the bike looks like its a Bersaglieri bike.

docs.google.com/document/d/1uGaaOSvSTqpwPGAvLPY3B5M2WYppDhzXdjwMpqRxo9M/edit

Not related to bikes, but the Vietnam stuff often has great stuff for converting to war trukks, as does 28mm WW2, I've seen some great converts from WW2 halftracks.

Exactly. It's not rokkit science.

bump

>Artillery Die (For Stikkbombz) use a D6 where a 6 is a misfire and 1-5 are inches scatter
For an artillery dice that should 1-5 are doubled for the scatter.

Stikkbombs scatter half the artillery dice distance (page 22 of Da Roolz)

Oh ok, carry on then.

Don't those GW dice boxes contain artillery dice? Or am I thinking of scatter?

>It's a cold world liking D6 based skirmish games my friend

kek

...

...

anyone have pictures of dollarstore car conversions for trukks, trakks or buggies?

They no longer do I'm afraid, just scatter. With the death of fantasy there's no need for artillery dice anymore

can someone explain to me what the fuck gorkamorka is?

is that an album cover?

>gorkamorka

GORKAMORKA IS THE AMAZING, IMPRESSIVE, GODLIKE CREATION THAT THE MEKS OF MEKTOWN ARE BUILDING.

We don't know if it will fly like a rokkit, we don't know if it will telyport us onto a space hulk, we don't know if GorkaMorka will rise up and pick up Mektown and carry it to the great WAAAGGGGH!

But it definitely will take us to the waaagh.

The game is a mad max styled skirmish game with orks on scrap metal cars on a desert planet

1d4chan.org/wiki/Gorkamorka

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorkamorka

Did you ever watch Mad Max 2 and think "Gee, I sure wish I could play a tabletop skirmish game of this - but with Orks"?

That's Gorkamorka.

>mfw I used to run a mob with Boss Oomungous, da golden yoof and Wez (with some orky name) with a crossbow

Reminder that there are more gubbinz available for yer mobz in the Mad Mekz pdfs

gorkamorka.co.uk/uploads/mad-meks-1.pdf

gorkamorka.co.uk/uploads/mad-meks-2.pdf

You mean Fury Road. Road Warrior's skirmish chase was just a small part of it, while Fury Road was that scene turned into a full movie in its own right. Also the vehicles were cooler in Fury Road.

Never mind the bit in Road Warrior involving the raid on the fort by a mob of half naked Australians, the whole thing being in the desert and the gyro(deff)kopta. Or barter town in number 3 becoming mektown with pit fights, etc.

Blood Bowl's actually got it's own general most of the time , so a simple redirect to the BB thread would probably be enough. More of an issue is the possible dominance of Epic or Gothic; both have infrequent but semi-regular threads on Veeky Forums.

>Epic or Gothic

I doubt it

mirliton.it makes a 28mm Moro guzzi

Do any of the Ork kits come with chains, or should I buy third party? I'm looking to make my mob's "theme" basically GorkaMorka stormboyz.

There's one in the Ork bikers kit

just go too a craft store and get some cheap jewllery chain.

Just look for 1/35 motorcycles...

Jewelry Chain is amazing, easy to work with, easy to wrap boyz in it (for belts, arm wraps, etc), you can thread a small piece of wire through it to pose it (as in make an action-pose where the boy is swinging it about)

Do you guys ever make mini-towns to represent giant NPC forts to fight in?

you can make some really great semi-cooperative npc raid scenarios which are tons of fun (when it comes to scrap it's every mob for themselves)

...

...

...

...

Finished riveting. Just need fuel drums, doorhandles paint and stuff now.

...

...

And only 1 nzd as well.

I remember in an old White Dwarf issue, they gave a tower papercraft model to use in GorkaMorka. It had a scenario if I'm not mistaken. Wasn't there rules to have humans and a Grot rebel army?

Not according to the index: reddit.com/r/Gorkamorka/wiki/exodites_gorkamorka_index

Just standard We Wuz 'Ere Furst

Thanks, I'll pick some up after work today.

Just getting into this from last thread... how shit are bikes? I would love to do maybe 1 buggy for the nob and a bunch of bikes. would that work at all?

They can be pretty good - remember though that Gorkamorka isn't 40K and bikes don't go into close combat.

Honestly, I like it for the aesthetic more than anything else. Thinking of calling the mob a Morkacycle Club.

If the bike had say, 2 Orks on it, one driver, and a passenger, can the passenger board or jump onto other vehicles?

Absolutely.

Bear in mind that bike passengers have an armour value of 0 though.

How do sidecars work on bikes?

They're a way you can build a vehicle.

>Inquisitor
Denzel.jpg

No-one ever talks about Inquisitor.
It's not great mechanically, but the models and art are gorgeous, and the depth of story and niche bits of Imperium make good campaigns.

Inquisimunda had some popularity a few years ago though, I think they even referenced some Blanchitsu models being for a "28mm scale rules conversion of inquisitor" in a white dwarf.

Bump

Hold the phone...there's homebrew rules for Dark Eldar? I finally have the urge to dust my guys off and get some of the new kits!

Released six years ago.

Admittedly the game is 19 years old now.

Finally got my trukk painted up, sorta rushed a little just so I can get on wiv da boyz! It'll get updated and finished off over time, of course.

>lol phoneposting again
>that's the best picture I can get without waking up the girlfriend

protip, if you resize your phone photos to be smaller than 3200x2400 it will look better.

nice rust effects

>cardboard choppa

come on man, you've got like 100 spare plastic choppaz you could have used

highlighting is ace and the reds coverage is great
>didnt need to thin your paints

jobs a good un

bikes are fine, don't get hit
