What's your budget? Bogles is easier to skimp on since Horizon Canopy's are non-critical. Infect is easily the best of the three but Hierarchs and Mistys aren't cheap or non-critical. Dredge isn't a spike deck.
I thought Dredge was more spike than Bogles? I'm looking at an initial buy in of 100 or so, then spending as much as 1k or more over time. I will say I love Pauper boggles.
So I'm recently single and I'm considering using all my extra date money to build jund. Someone talk me out of it.
Modern Dredge is just a pale shadow of Legacy Dredge, which is a watered-down shitty version of Bazaar Dredge.
It's just not a powerful strategy in Modern because the cards needed to make it great aren't in the format. It's Spike as fuck in other formats, in Modern it's meme.
Bogles and Dredge both attack from such different planes that they're both meta killers, but I'd favor Bogles since it's slightly faster and rolls over and dies to fewer popular hate cards. Dredge is fucked if it ever gets popular because graveyard hate is widespread and strong and hard to play around for it. I'd still invest in Infect if you just want to win and you have the money already. Its cards are more likely to retain value as well imo. Otherwise Bogles is pretty damn cheap and the way I'd go.

It's funny how extremely well positioned it has become in Vintage lately though. Everyone is so busy playing memedrazi and mementor that they forgot there's a deck that makes 200,000,000 zombies on turn 2.
The thing with vintage dredge is that it works on the same vein as legacy.

Take out the Canopys and that's -$280 already. There are other corners to cut in the manabase but that's by far the most expensive part of the mainboard, and I wouldn't advise less that 3 Paths or Spiritdancers without significant testing. Sideboard, instead of copypasta tailor it to your meta. You have a lot more latitude than you think.
Building my first Modern Deck.
It's a WU Emeria control. My budget is low and I'm picking the pieces slowly. I don't want to rush, but I want it to be decent. It's the new Thalia, Power of the Moon and Blessed Aliance worth trying?

new thalia is the only relevant card and it's only playable in legacy.
Will eldritch evolution see modern play? I'm certain people are going to try it out but I honestly don't think it's that good. I play Abzan company but I don't really think it's what my deck needs or really even wants.

Reminder that Asylum Visitor is a legit choice in midrange black decks because T3 Lilly -2, T4 Lilly +1 discard it to madness is a good play.

You can just play it normally for exactly the same price as Bob
But when the opponent has a Lily out and +1s her you can pitch Visitor to it and hit her on the backswing, and that's fucking good
It's not far off. There's upsides and downsides to both. Midrange decks didn't run Bob for years so he's hardly the fucking messiah anyway.
