My org's primary focus is empowering impoverished youth in Los Angeles. Once a year we venture out and help a community in need around the world.
We're not pushing western culture on any body, we simply build a safe school for kids to goto learn and employ local teachers.

It is what people with abandonment issues and narcissism do to get attention from others by proving how nice and 'good' they are. Usually via a hashtag, flag or statement to the effect of 'I am supportive and agree with these nice things'. What OP is doing is not virtue signalling. virtue signalling is what champaign socialists and communists do. Charity is the cure for those things. While I believe the above is all true I also believe building schools in Nepal is fucking retarded. If the locals want it then they are idiots too and they do not know what they want. The Empire was too go for you. Social sciences, women in politics, honestly. It is like you want the west to die. Politics is for defence, the government is for protection and defence. Charity is for social programmes. Social sciences are cancer much like socialism in general. Women are wonderful, but not suited for politics as they try to use it to 'better the world' and improve peoples lives. This is not what it is for. Before women would stay at home, raise families, create wonderful homes, create a wonderful life, family and go on to improve the local community. Men would always have helped where and when they could. Instead, polotics is being used to further women's natural agenda and men as always are attempting to help.
