How's the game going? Any fun times, story times, other times? Looking forward to anything?

Like thats even a question.

Reposting from last thread:

How can I make my Fool's Errand locks more reliable?
The save DC is 17 right now at level 3. I want to boost it.
What can I do?
Are there any ways for me to lower the enemy's reflex save as a Stalker?

I don't know what that means

Gonzo 2 pdf when?

That would appear to be the case.

This is a book that came out today

Do you want to play a Path of War initiator (full or partial)?
Do you prefer text-only games?
Are you highly tolerant of weeaboo token art?
Do you believe that dedicated roleplaying and heavy optimization are NOT mutually exclusive?
Are you interested in a game set in the bazaar of the bizarre, Katapesh?

If so, then this might be the game for you:
pastebin.com/dyRApYW3

There is a catch. This will be a small group with only two players and one GM. One player slot has already been reserved. They are a dedicated roleplayer, but also very meticulous with the rules. You will have to be patient with them. There is only one player slot left.

For more details, send a Skype contact request to: explosive_runes

Translation: Buckle up for hours of rule arguments, fuckers, you're playing with Touhoufag.

You're all fuckfaces and deserve a high five in the face with multiple chairs.

Continuing.

Veeky Forums will not allow me to post the full page of the araiguma, so you receive only the statistics.

Araiguma have +2 Constitution, +2 Intelligence, a bonus to Disable Device and Sleight of Hand, and a wilderness survival benefit.

I can hardly see anyone playing this race.

Akaimimi at least have the luxury of a +2 bonus to all Knowledge checks and Augury 1/day, which is a better deal than what araiguma receive.

At least there's a large assortment of middle-eastern animu girls involved in the posts.

If you're doing such a small party you should probably ask your friends. It's unlikely you're going to find a random that's comfortable with that.

I love you too user.

Yeah, I was huh-ing because +2 to all knowledge checks seems incongruous with the other two we've seen.

Small sample size, but it's still pretty noteworthy.

Red panda is best type

Inumimi are a rare +2 Strength, +2 Wisdom race, but I doubt anyone cares about Handle Animal, Survival, or saving throws against curses.

They even lack scent. Awful.

>Coon Affinity
I... wow. Didn't think that one through at all, did they?

STRanger race.

Kitsunemimi (/pfg/'s favorite) have +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, a +2 bonus on Perception and Sense Motive checks (good), and bonuses when taking 10 and 20. These are more on par with the akaimimi than the weaker araiguma and inumimi.

These kitsunemimi would make for excellent Dexterity/Intelligence skill monkeys, like an investigator or a Path of War: Expanded stalker (vigilante).

Last thread or the one beforw that. Was posted in a link along with gonzo 1

Nekomimi have +2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, a bonus on Climb and Perception checks, and the ability to reroll a single dice roll per day. The last ability never states that it has to be theirs, so presumably, they could potentially convert an enemy's critical hit into a miss. This makes the race a decent alternative to the catfolk.

This is also the final page in the PDF I had received before everything whites out. The usagimimi can be found here . I will be seeking my refund.

Game officially starts this Saturday. I'm pretty excited.

>all the races are humanoids instead of Fey
>kitsune are Dex and Int
>none of them have any shapeshifting, and the racial traits are all boring as fuck
>the fucking dogs don't even have scent

How can one book fuck up this badly?

They aren't kitsune. The fluff even says a kitsunemimi can be born to a kitsune and human pairing.

Brutal Slayer Stalker pumping str gets a ridiculous lock DC, I had DC25 at level 8 normally and DC29 with brutal strikes up with a very quick test build the other day.

>Racial Ability: Incredibly Specific Animal Affinity
okay stop

I'm a DEX build Bushi. Pumping is a bit more difficult for me, I think.

I'm having so many conflicting feelings about this book

What's so offensive about furry races anyway? Yeah, some people jerk off to porn of it but isn't that true of elves and orcs? Sex isn't a topic of polite discussion during games anyway.

Just refluff a skinwalker for christ's sake.

My PDF works just fine. Try redownloading it.

Aren't skinwalkers basically already like that anyway

What do we say to the god of Akashit Mysteries' release?

I am fucking stoked for its release. I hope the monster art will be worth the wait.

Actually a Unumimi Ranger or Hunter would be pretty stoked if you actually run animal companion rules as they are written.

Handle Animal checks fricken suck dick, so a +4 in addition to the +4 from class is golden.

If I were to attack the Swallowtail Festival at Sandpoint, should I use a Heavy Chariot or an Armored Wagon?

try downloading the PDF again, mine has all the pages n pictures.

That they need to get it fucking out here already. I'm tired of using playtest documents instead of a proper PDF.

My players are adventuring on the positive energy plane starting from level one (as natives they have PE affinity). How do I portray the plane as a fun and diverse place to adventure? An infinite featureless mass of light is boring and pointless.

What kind of character are you using the docs for?

As I understand it, connotations of bestiality mixed with people being massive creepers about it.

I find the former a bit silly, but the latter is correct more often than I'd like.

Maybe take the chance to go full Rainbow Road?

Made a Nameer (Akashic Tiger Man) Sineater Guru using Feral Combat Training to bring the pain.

Role Played him as a cannibalistic Luchador who would use a combination of Aerial Nimbus and Coward Boots to catapult himself huge distances to chokeslam fuckers.

best moment was at the end of the campaign when I used Lashing Spinerettes to catapult myself above the jungle canopy to get one last punch on the Fey Queen before she galloped away on her Pegasus. Fucking Crit, took her to negatives, Pegasus had no saddle so she started falling with me.

GM: Well that just happened
Me: I want to Kiniku Buster her on the way down
GM: wat

I survived the falling damage. She didn't. Campaign over.

>you're playing with Touhoufag.
What's wrong with that?

Can someone remind me, how bad is it for a vigilante to be noticed changing?

Depends who saw you.

Game starts Friday. Pumped to get back to lightening bending, not so much for the lawful stupid of one of my party members.

You should think about what kinds of things you want your players to encounter in their adventure and work from there.

Depends on how much you rely on your social identity not being known to be the same as the vigilante identity.

Elves and orcs (and dragons for that matter) have a large media/cultural presence stretching back to and predating the first tabletop rpgs, of which the porn is a relatively small segment. You can't just call them a fetish race because there are dozens of perfectly tame examples for every orc-on-elf gangbang doujin.

Anthropomorphic animals on the other hand have been almost completely dominated by the furry movement, which everyone knows is sexual no matter how much they claim otherwise. You have an endless mountain range of depraved porn for every tame children's movie, and then the furries use those to make even more porno mountains.

So much truth. Furries can't be unfetishized while elves/orcs aren't nearly as fetishized.

Says you.

How's that going for you?

>not using Brocken art

I disagree.

Animal characters are ancient, and 'furry' is hardly a massive portion of that timespan.

I'm going to enchant my weapon with courageous (I'm a inquisitor with rage and heroism), though I need cheap ways to buff my weapon to +4 at least.

Tips?

Pending on Inquisitor level, Bane can help bump it up

>using Bane to help improved Courageous

Will it ever be time for fear?

Lvl 8 right now, we are squeezing money, we have to lay siege to rescue someone inside of a fortress.

Oh dear.

>Dismas and Reynauld are your last living members in that boss-battle
As it should be, and as it shall always be.

>Look on the bright side, Reynauld; we could have had to kill TWO of these things.
>Well spoken, Dismas.

PF Fucking G, by demonstrably acting like oxygen thieves you have voided any right to calling paizoshitters bad, fucking shitstains the lot of you.

I love you too

Yes, the concept is way older than furries or Disney, but its those two that popularized and shaped the average's person's perception of it, just like LOTR did for elves.

Original Germanic elves got swamped under a tide of Legolas. Original animal characters got swamped under a tide of XxYiffsniff69xX.

...

A truer meme team there never was.

Sounds like someone got their x-card stolen

Except the amount of people still using anthropomorphic animals nonsexually is way higher than people still using germanic elves outside of working for santa.

Make sure to run by with your DM whether you're using the pre- or post-errata version of Courageous, if you haven't already.

>Implying everyone who worked on Zootopia wasn't yiffing themselves nightly.

Discipline Focus (Fool's Errand)
Ability Focus (Lock) - dependent on your GM allowing you to take a monster feat
Cursed Razor has a level 1 stance that reduces the enemy's save by 2.
Weaken the Prey works if you have appropriate maneuvers.
Steel Serpent can deal dex damage, plus it works with Weaken the Prey
Watchman's Rebuke makes them roll again; get your warder or zealot to take it and use it for you

>espagnoll opens up a new game
>31 years old gamer Major in Humanities and Master degree in Comparative Theory of Art, Thought and Literature

>laugh and walk away

I'm proud of my achievement both of then almost saw death during the journey.

Dismas almost got killed by pig god and Reynauld by motherfucking Vvulf

Let's be honest with ourselves, Judy's got some rockin' hips.

Please think before you speak, user

Inumimi look pretty beefy. I would want to be saved by that guy.

And the girl looks like she can fistfight Greta. Strong race for strong heroes!

paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/coreRulebook/magicItems/magicItemCreation.html

I'm trying to figure out how exactly "uses per day" effects price. Is it just divide what the price would be by 5, then divide it again by the number of charges? Or how does that work?

The hips don't lie, user.

Ah, thank you both. So less I'm worried about it, the less it matters.

I'd only really be worried if someone who

1. Doesn't like you
2. Is generally considered Honest

saw you since they can make a lot of stuff suck for you if you planned to use Social identity for sleuthing at all.

As far as I've been able to figure out, making a magic item with a spell effect with a specific number of uses per day appears to use this formula:

>[CL of item] x [Spell Level of SLA in item] x 1800 / (5/uses per day)

I derived the equation from the equation for command word activation, which would give unlimited uses per day and applying the modifier given by the table.

Applied to the Boots of Teleportation, this equation comes out to 48600, just 400 short of the actual price of the boots, probably rounded up because Paizo doesn't like following their own rules very much.

Your character angers a blink dog, who warns your character to never speak to him or his blinkling son ever again.

How does your character placate the blink dog?

Head pats.

>Placate

The fuck do I want to do that for?

I mean, do I need to speak to him or his blinkling son ever again?

If not, think this might be one puzzle I'm willing to leave unsolved.

I pat their heads with my great axe.

Post errata is the one that take the morale bonus based on half of the weapon enhancement value right?

Hey Gareth.

d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/classes/warder/warder-archetypes/dervish-defender-warder-archetype

>Two-Weapon Defense (Ex)

>While not all dervish defenders fight in the same manner, most do and all are extensively trained in these fighting philosophies. While wearing light armor or no armor, wielding a weapon in each hand (or using a double weapon), and not using a shield heavier than a buckler, the warder may add her Intelligence bonus (if any) to her Armor Class. She retains this bonus even against touch attacks or when flat-footed, but loses this bonus should she be rendered helpless by any means.

Does this apply to CMD?

Yes. Unless otherwise stated, a typeless bonus to AC also applies to CMD.

No, that's pre-errata. Post errata is the same, but it only affects morale bonuses to saving throws against fear affects.

Please take your shitty memes back to tumblr, thanks.

I don't think that's related to tumblr?

So definitely not a problem if I'm going full toku

Really?

Please return your shitty memes to the pit whence they were spawned, then.

I'm ready to be a Brown Bunny Ranger.

Anyone wanna be my Roguish Pistoleer?

Really?

>A creature can also add any circumstance, deflection, dodge, insight, luck, morale, profane, and sacred bonuses to AC to its CMD. Any penalties to a creature's AC also apply to its CMD. A flat-footed creature does not add its Dexterity bonus to its CMD.
