If Khorne killed himself

If Khorne killed himself would he get power?

There have been some really retarded threads and discussions about the chaos gods recently.

Really retarded. Like this.
Is this just a new crop of fans?

OP, are you ten?

>Is this just a new crop of fans?
>implying Game$ Work$hop fans haven't always been this retarded
We are not the smartest group of individuals out there, bro.

Does not compute.

He would die

It would be extremely painful.

Kill... himself? What's he going to do? Stab himself till he bleeds out? Hit himself till he get brain damage?

I don't think Chaos Gods are susceptible to these things.

I mean, if anybody knows how to kill Khorne, it's probably Khorne

In Norse mythology, Odin sacrificed himself, to himself, for himself, and invented magic in the process. I don't see why not

Yes.

Maybe for other things in warp and Materium as well

According to my calculations this is the surest path to victory

>Khorne sacrifices himself to himself to gain power
>warp rips open from the inside out unable to exist because the act of self sacrifice- regardless of the reason- is holy to the emperor
>emperor ressurects from upon the golden throne, all the power from khorne's failed ploy absorbed by his psychie
>new golden age after ten thousand years of strife. Space marines begin a relentless onslaught upon the xenos
>chaos implodes in on itself

If Khorne killing himself makes any sense at all, it would be him choosing to let his power wane away to nothing, to let peace break out across the Galaxy.

I don't think Khorne has it in his nature to destroy himself like that, but if he did, it wouldn't give him power. I don't think self-destruction counts as violence for the purposes of what powers Khorne.

Now, Khorne being destroyed by someone else, especially by means of violent conflict? That, weirdly, might strengthen Khorne. But self-destruction? That is more in Nurgle's wheelhouse (if an expression of despair) or Tzeenthch's wheelhouse (if a bizarre scheme to gain more power).

For Khorne to destroy himself would be against his nature and Chaos gods do not act against their nature.

that only works when they're your enemies

If Slaneesh fucked himself, would he gain power?

If so, why isn't she the most powerful chaos god yet?

Because he fucked up

Destiny actually has a really interesting piece of lore involving tribute by death and how your own death can count for it. So a group of four demi-gods spent a few million years killing each other endlessly as an act of love, until they were strong enough to fold space in on itself.

Link for those interested. It's about halfway in.

no. He is the god of murder not suicide. Despite having some similarities they are viewed as different by most so they are different things by the reckoning of the warp.

You see why Chaos is run by Nurgle and Tzeentch and why Khorne is a lackey and Slaanesh is getting written out of the canon. The latter two were never good ideas to begin with.

Actually, Slaanesh is the god with the fastest growing power, mostly due to how EVERYTHING is fucked up.
