Wow, that was fast.

There aren't enough common sense perks in existence to help Jumper.

You could have a common sense perk in each jump - totalling about 605+ Common Sense perks. And it would still not be enough.

Having a split personality would be even worse since that's out and out insanity.

I chose not to get one sure, but there's nothing you really get from the jump in that case, and you can't really be involved in the whole 'symbiote as a solution' deal.

Actually, you already have something akin to a symbiote inside your head. The other half of your brain, that is probably sentient.

youtube.com/watch?v=wfYbgdo8e-8

And getting a free companion to talk and advice you as well as giving you some free sweet multitask is nice. It's not like the symbiote can go against you once you have enough magic/psychic telekinetic powers to ensure that he doesn't does anything weird. They're programmed to assist you, so they will suit whatever morals you have.

I know not of this sense of commons. Is it some way to tell if someone is nobily born or not?

Can you learn disciplines that you didn't pick up with cp in VtM: B? Can you increase your maximum blood points?

If Jumpers ever had common sense they wouldn't have taken the deal with Jump-chan and stayed in their world.

Hey, my mind has several dozen of me inside it, plus my zanpakuto and hollow selves, plus my kamui, plus anyone i invite inside. It's pretty palatial... plus, I read people's minds all the time... totally hypocritical to worry about invasions of privacy.

>Can you learn disciplines?
Yes.

>Maximum blood points
Only through diablerie

In Jojo, is Anubis's technique memorizing basically "I won't be fooled twice, because I now know that move and I know what weakspot it has" along with just fast reaction with the learned stuff?

As for it growing stronger and faster over time, is there a cap to it? Since apparently it's speed and strength was increasing as it fought.

Actually, it would be silly not to take the offer, seeing as you can't really die and get at least one Jump's worth of skills that would give you huge advantages in life.

>Not taking a deal that literally puts you on the path of omnipotence with little risk thanks to meta-knowledge and exponential planed growing.

Sure, enjoy your average normal life. Maybe you can survive for the singularity to happen and pray that the AIs are benevolent enough to not exterminate you.

I thought your brain halves only functioned wholly separately (and thus could fit the argument of being two individuals) if they severed the corpus callosum?

Even going Imprisoned, importing some AI of your own, or switching roles and being the Symbiote yourself isn't to your liking?

Ah well, fair enough. It's one jump, not everything can be to everyone's liking I suppose...

You could always pick up 'Brackman Intellect' and 'Symbiont' from Supreme Commander. The first perk to merge an AI with an organic mind (that's a Symbiote by the way) and the latter partially cyberizes your brain, but also does said AI merging with you.

So technically you could use them to make an AI as close to you as possible, or an AI that will agree with you, and merge it with the Symbiote before in turn installing that into the Symbiont. Basically reprogramming it to your needs.

Still having to leave a world every ten years or more depending on a drawback seems a bit much doesn't it?
Going into one world after another leaving each and every life you have behind to go into the unknown not knowing if the world you went to might be better or worse than the next.

Imprisoned means the thing is still there, the AI would be no different than a native symbiote (though I know a girl who would be fucking THRILLED if she could find a way to force me to take her as a symbiote), and being the symbiote would be hypocritical of me.

To let another being become a part of my mind entirely sounds even worse to me.

I guess. It's effectively braindead (while not having anything besides their mind) through, so personally I wouldn't count it as 'there'. But to each their own.

Some theorize that it's more like you see that once the communication is lost and the other half has to rely on memory and external impulses to keep carry on its own tasks.

You're two individuals so coordinated that you made the illusion of being only one. Once the coordination starts to falter, the illusion shatters.

Rolled 527, 199 = 726 (2d595)

Sounds like every explorer ever. Neil Armstrong didn't know if he'd ever leave the moon when he landed. Sometimes you go and find what's there.

Well you can quit whenever you want, and if you don't take risks you can't succeed in this world either. It's just that in this one, you probably won't come back when you die or build your way back up after everything falls to pieces. Of course, it could just be that I've got wanderlust and a desire to find new things.

I used to move all the time, not a big deal

As a child my parents would move ever six months or so. Being in one single place for ten years is something I've never actually done.

Question on making a servant, what does Independent Action above A+ do? I understand that A+ means that the servant can remain in indefinitely, and EX would likely allow complete independence in terms of mana generation, but what about A++ and A+++?

It wastes CP.

Girls Under Panzer (1st Jump):
Panzer Vor!
rolled 4: Ooarai Girls HS
50 Enthusiast
EGSDT: Commander Shepherd, Ender Wiggin, Sarah Kerrigan, Jim Raynor,Michael O'Neal(Aldenata), Jiraiya, ???.. mostly fictional commanders/warriors, because I like their personalities and know them better. (Outsider, Always Remember, Read and you shall know, tank tech)

250 Specialist*6(1 free, 5 discounted): All (Commander, Gunner, Radio/Navigator, Driver, Loader, Mechanic)
Basic Tankery (dependable, stronger mind/body)
100 Advanced Tankery (specialties upgraded to mastery, know all about historical tanks)
200 Polite Grace and Dignified Femininity

100 More Love Love Operation (extra hour for frivolity)
100 Songs of War
100 Always Remember (people things, facts, important dates, etc)
200 Read and You shall know
100 Tank Tech
400 Our Armor is Fairly Thin (know personal/team weaknesses, when they're targeted, and improved ability to avoid it when they are targeted)
Tank Cakes
200 Extra Food Vouchers
200 Indestructible Paint(these colors never run)
300 Tank Hangar
+600 That would be cheating, Little General, Can humans even... (sleepy)
+800 All the Enemies you ever wanted
100 Girls und Armor

My enemies... are all normal humans. So starting a year before canon, with 32 companion/allies, it isn't terribly hard to get the Tankery elective re-approved, and we can find all the old tanks. Kind of a problem with them being a couple decades old (mostly due to girls und armor), but all of us being mechanically knowledgeable, and good at reading, we can use the school equipment to _make_ parts, and assemble new tanks. The girls interested in tankery (non-companions) add up to fill the tanks we're making, and make friends.

It's annoying to be that short and adorable... but at least I get more sweets. The tankery problem benefits helps keep my sleep problems from making me repeat a grade. I sometimes sleep in a tank so I have a short walk in the morning.

Better mana generation, basically. At A+ they can remain without a master indefinitely... but if they start spending lots of mana, they aren't going to get that back in a long time.

Side note, since Servants get normal mana generation after the jump anyway (Ex effectively), buying it with CP for yourself or an imported companion is pretty much a waste.

Gives you better mana generation. A+ only allows indefinitely going without a master, not for you to run around and spend mana freely like normal Servants with masters can.

It's a waste if you're buying it for you or imports though, since you effectively get Ex equivalent mana generation after the jump. Getting it for a non-imported Servant at that high a rank may cause you to get shanked by them, since you're not really important to them. Depending on the Servant. Atleast it gives CP as a drawback then.

Rolled 502, 577 = 1079 (2d595)

Are there any better defense perks than 'You. . . Blocked?' from 8bit Theater?

Better in what sense?

Some errors have been fixed, three items have been added, the Omnitrix has been altered slightly, the aliens and the Focus item have had there prices lowered, I added an option to recruit canon characters, and a blurb at the bottom to explain what happens if the universe gets destroyed and remade and what happens with Paradoxical post-spark.

Clairvoyance from Raildex, Intangibility, Primordial Might from SMT

If you're modifying an imported or purchased mecha, you have whatever powerplant that import has. If you're building from scratch, unless you're pulling a powerplant from elsewhere, you don't have a powerplant.

Rolled 25, 550 = 575 (2d595)

Royal Guard Style from DMC.

Cool, man.

I love you.

With Totem Transformation do you still need to keep the totems after you drain them?

Looks good. May I presume you're still working on recovering the data from your other computer?
I don't suppose Big Chill'a race is on the menu, is it?

Yes

Now, when you say that the companions can't use Omnitrix, do you mean they can't even use the one we bought for CP?

Will mind resistance perks help with resisting Zz'skayr in the drawback?

How does taking Evolutionary function without Omnitrix work or can work, and in what form do we receive it.

And finally:

Can we somehow, with enough tech, in jump, replicate omnitrix or such? There have been knock offs after all. And Albedo did his thing too

I ordered a new motherboard yesterday. Big Chill was already written up, so it's good to go once I get and install the motherboard.

Huh, okay. Thanks user.

Guess I just don't get to add an extra power generator to my ridiculous amalgam of mecha imports at all.

Hey Are this build And these plans viable?
note: no limit on drawbacks found
Numbernumber:+200 at this point their technology does not scare me
The Most Dangerous Game: Khyber +300 the animal trainer with the awesome dangerous animals from space? I think it's supper time.
Freaked Out:+300 do you have any idea what I am false Phantom? Let's see how you like it when start shining like the star I am.
Chose Primus -50 got to start here so I can harvest all this essence for my myself and my zurg hive, once Azmuth arrives I burn that recent human alternate form to duplicate him, and morphing memory allows me his knowledge and skill as well as his intellectual capacity. Of course this is after we scanned the samples themselves so that we have the DNA on file for cloning with cortex command cloning. Which I then use to make cell metals via Gara's Lost Work, with the cell metals provided by my, various regeneration perks, together with waveform anatomy and The Cup of the King, these are going to be some amazing core metals.
Homeless free it's got the discounts I want unfortunately
chose Age:10/2=5 -50 I love being young.
I'm Hurt. Deeply Hurt: (Free: Homeless) seems handy
Osmosian -300 discount for homeless this seems more so
Technopath-300 discount for homeless Question does this work organic machines like Primus?
Nemetrix with Evolutinary Function-1000 duplicate twice and give to the whale wolves
Taydenite-100 discount for homeless scan and mass-produce this if I can, if I can't use Osmosian to scrape away some for sale , let's see if I can duplicate it in ways other than minecraft duplication Roll(1d100)+0:11,+0 Total:11 so yes I think my huge fabrication bay can handle it
rolling to see if I can license weapons technology from the Techadons
Roll(1d100)+0:63,+0 Total:63 so that's a no lot but I don't think they're trying to kill me.
I believe early I pretty much discussed my plans in the notes, but mostly it's genetic hijinks and taking Azmuth's place.

Also, so can we access the DNA database on our Omnitrix and copy it into a second device, in order to have the Omnitrix access two Alien DNA's at once, or do we have to have a separate device that mixes the DNA and provides it to Omnitrix?

Because:
>Do note that just because you can’t modify the Omnitrix itself doesn’t mean you can’t build
machines that are compatable with it. If you wanted to plug it into a cloning machine or even slot it
into another DNA storage device to transform into alien hybrids, go right ahead.

So I want to make sure

Reposting build.

-Background: Refugee (800CP) -I needed to get away.
-Species: Human (Free) -Stick to what I know.
-Anodite (200CP) -Improving magic is kickass.
-Studious (Free) -Learning is fun!
-Sanctum (50CP) (Discount) -Aaaand Garden.
-Magic (Free) -OH LOOK, I GET TO USE MAGIC.
-Evolutionary Function (-450CP) -Attach this to EVO's Simulated Biome. Laugh.
-Focus (Free) -Huh, this could be neat.
-Staff of Ages (-750CP) (Discount) -OH AND WHAT FUN WE SHALL HAVE.
-Rooting You Out (-450CP)
-The Most Dangerous Game (-150CP)
-Wanted (50CP)
Dice Rolls: Primus, 11 years old
-End Choice: Next Adventure

So I've got a question. Suppose we didn't install the Evolutionary Function into an Omnitrix, but instead say... the Simulated Biome from E.V.O.

>Simulated Biome (300cp, Discount Aliens): Added onto your warehouse is a door, which will take you to a large dome chamber. Just be thinking about it you can make this chamber simulate any environment, biosphere, and/or life form beyond its indestructible glass walls and use the controls to tweak the conditions and examine what happens. The space beyond the walls is effectively impossible to interact with in anyway aside from the functions of this attachment. The options you have for this simulation will expand as your knowledge and technology does, letting you apply the best of both your mind and potential gear towards seeing just what happens when you mess with the natural order. You might occasionally think you hear a voice berating you for your folly in playing god, but I can assure you that it's all in your head.

Any idea of what may happen.

>Now, when you say that the companions can't use Omnitrix, do you mean they can't even use the one we bought for CP?

No, just the finished product.

>Will mind resistance perks help with resisting Zz'skayr in the drawback?

Willpower perks will help to an extent, but they won't be 100% effective and things that prevent mind control won't work.

>How does taking Evolutionary function without Omnitrix work or can work, and in what form do we receive it.

It's a small computer part. I'm sure you could use it in genetic experiments. The main reason I didn't have it come pre-installed is because I figured some people might like the option to be able to do something with it.

>Can we somehow, with enough tech, in jump, replicate omnitrix or such? There have been knock offs after all. And Albedo did his thing too

Yes, but it will follow similar restrictions to the one found in the jump.

Hey, /jc/? How ridiculous would it be to base my entire fighting style around the "Pixie Dust" perk from Cho Aniki?

Also, I genuinely believe that I've decided to have Sparkle Lasers instead of Fireballs.

Would you mind not blatantly stating that an item that we have to spend our entire budget on to get is a cheap knock off? I understand that you need to restrict access to bullshit like the Time Alien and the Omnipotent Alien but the other restrictions make no sense.

is Primus one singular living thing for purposes of Animorphs morphing?

...

...technically I have to accept that.

Yes. They're called Eliatrope from Wakfu, getting gud at SMT magic and Beacon of Counterattack from FF13-1.

Eh, I guess that seems pretty reasonable actually-

>not Fireballs

YOU

FOOL

Why're you asking him? He didn't make Animorphs, that was Koolerkid

Honestly, you might wanna shell out for a GN Drive, they're pretty great bullshit to have on your side. The particles are real versatile, and can be used for ECM, Sensing, Beam Weapons, Defensive Fields, strengthening armor, enhancing cutting ability, flight, Communication and connection via quantum brainwaves, and optical camoflauge.

If you've already got multiple reactors, you could go the cheaper route and get a GN Tau Drive, which creates flawed red particles, and requires electricity from another source (in this case, your other reactor(s). in which case it's less a powerplant and more a GN Particle Converter.

Read up on em here: gundam.wikia.com/wiki/GN_Drive

Is it possible for someone to escape from the Totems?

So basically with ZZ'Skayr we will have hollow ichigo situation but more hostile?

Interesting. Maybe I will befriend him and keep him after jump.

>FOOL

Why do you say this?

I could probably make them FLAMING sparkle beams, but that seems silly.

If we steal Albedo's omnitrix before he uses it, and we use it in our human alt form, are we still remade into Ben due to his DNA being default?

You are blocked from getting a real Omnitrix by fiat.

Sounds fine to me. Technopathy doesn't allow you to control biological machines, but you can abuse Osmosian to harvest taydenite. It's going to hurt pretty bad, and it probably isn't good for your health, but I don't think you have to worry about that.

The first one should be fine.

It would probably put everything you created in the dome through millions of years of natural selection in an environment that would encourage the creation of biological superweapons.

He can make rulings on Primus being a singular thing,he just can't make rulings on Animorphs morphing.
also I assume all aliens in the Omnitrix are able to be Replicated entirely with genetics?

>The Omnitrix option. . .
What the hell? Just give us the real thing with the Bullshit aliens blocked off.

Albedo doesn't use a real Omnitrix. It's a knock off he made.

And Paradox just said we can make/steal knock off omnitrix. But it's affected by jump limitations

But I can't. The energy generators I have fit none of the tiers, so I have no clue what it'd pay for them. THAT'S WHY I ASKED... I want one, but I have no clue what I should pay for it without a reference.

Fucking 8 captchas, really?

Can someone who has been turned into a Totem escape from the Totem or are they secure?

Awesome. Still waiting for Kinecelerans so I can make my build, but awesome.

>Yes, but it will follow similar restrictions to the one found in the jump.
Aw... But okay, I guess. I can live without getting a fun toy. Not like there's not a dozen ways to do everything it does. Just not as stylish.

Daily Reminder that Ultimate Albedo is just Modok

>not posting best Albedo

>Best Albedo
Your shit taste is showing user.

You have odd way of spelling "worst" user.

>Not posting Best Girl

Didn't say best girl; I said best Albedo.

Is poop.

...

Obviously, I'm not the jumpmaker, but if you want my personal take on it, I would say that if you're paying the 50cp to import a mech, then I'd say you pay 100cp for a True (or Tau) GN Drive if you sacrifice an existing self-sustaining powerplant, or if you want to add one to the imported mech (or just buy a standalone drive) that it's 400cp (Nothing + Tier 2 + Tier 3 + Tier 4 + Tier 5) for a True GN Drive, or 300cp for a GN Tau Drive.

>Aura
She's gonna be the best of the bunch in a century or so.

>The "drawback" to all this power is that if your energy reserves run low your body becomes a withered husk.

What does it take to reduce one's energy reserves to such a level?

I also wish to note that if you're going for a GN Drive you're almost better off buying a prebuilt GNdam for anywhere between 200 (GN-000 O Gundam) to 400 (GN-0000 00 Gundam which actually comes with two GN drives.)

I believe trying to make Fish Naga Centaur people was a mistake.

I was implying it was built by someone like Albedo or Dr. Psychobos, so just ignore that part. The other restrictions exist to make it so purchasing an alien isn't a suckers choice. Are there any particular restrictions that you find irksome? I'm willing to make adjustments if there's something I missed and I consider it reasonable.

No. I'm not 100% sure on how Primus is put together, but it's probably a bunch of different interconnected systems, some with different DNA and some with no DNA at all. It would be like trying to acquire an entire ecosystem.

Probably, but not usually. There's a lot of crazy stuff out there in the multiverse after all, so I'm not just going to say no.

is right.

Yes

Aura or Shalltear?

Mix of the two. Its counter to Polnareff shooting his sword at the host is simply to parry it, but when fighting Star Platinum it grew stronger and faster as the fight continued. I'd expect it can scale up raw stats and devise a counter to most techniques, but dealing with more esoteric stuff.

That does sound reasonable... could go with that, yes. That works.

Hm. I do have this mecha I've been importing everywhere... But I guess I could just... transplant it from one of those?

It's alright buddy, making crocodogs was a bigger mistake

I'd still fuck it.

>Shalltear
Worst girl. That Lamprey form is easily the least attractive thing I've seen outside of a Tera post. In fact, I be he wanks it to her with zeal and regularity.

But that's adorable

Tera gets whiny and bitches any time someone remotely implies anything about maybe possibly being a lolicon or liking a loli character, so I kinda doubt it, even though she'd be his type otherwise.

This is why you stack common sense perks.

Something artificially draining your power or pushing it too far without recharging. Unlike Michael Morningstar you don't need it to maintain yourself.

the only reason not to pay 450 for the 00 & 0 Raiser, instead of 50 to import and 400 for a GN Drive is that if you import it, the custom work is warrantied by Jumpchan, and if you buy the gundam and transplant one or both drives, then you're responsible for re-integrating them in the event of catastrophic damage.

So is exerting yourself without actively trying to use absorbed energy going to drain it?

Still, is there a cap to its raw stats?

But we can still make our own omnitrix by stealing the samples from Primus and/or reverse engineering it through other tech perks from other jumps?

...yes?

That's the problem.

I don't understand Gundam very well, but the recent wind babble in Macross Delta (actually Windemeres apparently having some sort of dimensional combat hyperawareness from fold wave singing that enables them to casually dodge an entire fleet's firepower when the song's at maximum pitch) kinda helps me conceptualise what all the emphasis on psychic stuff was about.

You can make something with other jumps that literally does everything the canon omnitrix does but better, as long as it isn't an omnitrix. If it is, then it's fiat capped to the one you can buy. He's said that in thread.

Well they so crocodilians are smart enough to recognize individual people, so hey. That's smart enough to potentially be able to form bonds.

FF7. I'll need a new 8.

What are some articles of clothing/pieces with armor with useful or interesting, but not necessarily powerful effects? Stuff like this:

>Undertaker’s Cloak (Cost: 100 Cp): this drab gray cloak has a minor but useful enchantment. Non-sentient undead will not attack the wearer or even be able to see them unless directed by an outside force. Sentient undead are immune to this effect.

>Spectacles of Clear Sight (Cost: 100 Cp, Discount: Drop In): A mundane looking pair of glasses. When worn they grant the ability to see through fog and magical darkness as if they were not present.

>Mask of Shadows (Cost: 200 Cp): this pure white featureless mask covers the wearer’s face entirely. While it is worn the wearer is immune to all detection spells and witnesses cannot discern anything about their appearance or even voice. The wearer may also choose to appear as an average looking human of either sex.
