Sci-fi/fantasy helms

I have a great lovr for fantasy and sci-fi helmets. What's your favorite brain bucket?

Pic is WH40k Imperial Maximus space marine helmet

So many to choose from... gonna start with Extremis edition Iron Man

T-51b is a classic

I'm going to post something from Halo, but EVA helmets - reflective full-face shields - are my jam.

As says, Fallout also has a fantastic selection.

Forgot image.

>inb4 the million-angled taticool shit that dominates modern scifi armour

The space sallet is my jam.

...

>Halo 5

Into the trash it goes

I can get behind this.

I also like the thin and elongated cone-helms most Warhammer Elves/Eldar have. Especially the Dark Eldar.

Pantsu on head

Classic Beakie for still being an amazingly distinctive design with very few imitators despite being around for 30+ years.

Fun fact: not actually based on a pig-faced bascinet according the the designer, the original is in fact a combo of a roman helmet, headphones, a fighter-pilot's mask and some goggles armoured up.

Scum

To me, nothing beats a simple round helmet with a bunch of holes for a visor.

Horns and whatnot are optional.

Never understood the appeal of Beakie. It looks like garbage, imho.

Vendel period helms are patrician.

I feel you. Those chaos Barute kind of helmets are so minimalist but look so cool.

*barbute

MkIII Iron helm is the best. MkIV is second best.

>tfw no pic

Dakkaface is best face.

I really like the Nurgle helmets with tubes and horns for some reason

>Can't unsee now
FUUUUUUUUCK YOUUUUUUUUU!!!!!

PoĆnty head with lots of kibble.
What's the point of becoming a wizard if you don't wear a pointy hat?

Commissar hat coming through.

Excellent taste

What have you done user

N'wah.

I fucking love almost all Eldar/Dark Eldar helmets, but especially the ones with vents on the lower mask.

Like that Scorpion, and also pic related. I don't know what this style (lower half vertical vent things) is called but it's based.

Aye those are sexy.

...

not quite Scifi. But the Helmets look neato. and could possibly with some tweaks, fit Scifi.

Grey Knights helmets are top tier

Source? My imagination just orgasmed

...

no idea
i save a bunch of stuff and just try to make more.
A for instance. a player wanted to have art for a helmet and Armour in a campaign we did recently.
i was playing a Effeminate Eunuch Mage as the DMPC
he described it as Mildly roman. but with plate styling. so i worked from this and designed it with him.

As another contribution, its my Second favorite helmet from Halo.

...

Anvil industry made some interesting space sallet styled helmets.

I love the smell of my own exposed organs in the morning

I think only Hawks have retained that old style of helmet with the visor over the mouth. I miss how it looked on Dragons though. Never was a fan of the old Scorpion helms with the Darth Vader mouths though. Much prefer the new design.

...

...

I like the MKVI helmet. These FW ones are sexy.

>hand clipping

And this movie basically bankcrupted Square. Makes U think

Great for stabbing traitors in the face. Power beak for RG when?

The kind of helmets I can Deus Vult in.

My brother, Kane will be pleased with this choice.

Any of the helmets from Dead Space. Can't find a good pic though.

What are these actually called? Other guy wasn't right.

What about the others?

...

Out of the way everybody, best space sallet and dangerous levels of radiation coming through.

...

>No WWE Kane

...

...

not really futuristic, but i've always loved magneto's pseudo-corinthian helmet

Kane lives in death.

you magnificent bastard, I was thinking likewise.

40k has some good helmets but the regular SM helmet, I think its MKVII, will always be my favourite.

The helmets Karskrin and some of the guard use, the one that covers the face, is also pretty good.
