"Ghost People come, take person away. Never see again. When Ghost People see you... no escape."

"About time! Grug is probably waiting for me just around the bend."

"What a view! I've never seen anything like this. I'll have to take Eve here some time."

[growling sound]

"Wha-?"

[growling sounds intensify]

"Now that's something I've seen before - or at least a close cousin!"

"KREEEEEEE!"

"Better get climbing, before that Wing-Teeth decides to become an early bird..."

"*huff*...*huff*... Finally! I've been eating too much of the Flower People's food! This is as high of a vantage point as I'm going to get, and no sign of Grug..."

"KREEEEEE!"

"That Wing-Teeth again!"

"KREEEEEEE!"

"On second thought, maybe there IS a way to get a higher vantage point... I'll have to time this just right-"

"-NOW!"

[surprised squawking noise]

Lego Quest, hell yeah!

[agitated dinosaur noises]

"I've flown plenty of planes, but I never dreamed I'd be flying one of these!"

KLUUNG

"Aaaugh-!"

"KREEEEEEEE!"

"Grug should be right... that's odd, where is he? Wait, what's that on the ground?"

"Grug's club... but no Grug! The Sardaks must have taken him!"

"KREEEEEEEE!"

"But they won't get far!"

...

That's it for now, but I'll be back after a few hours of sleep and we can keep playing!

Thanks for running LQ.

thanks again lq!

They're floating, how? :o

Lego Bump

Thanks anons, I'm glad you're having fun! I should be ready to start back up in about 90 minutes, give or take six hours.

Out of all the pictures so far, that's the one you pick? (nothing in this episode has been Photoshopped except to make the colors more crisp)

It looks like I missed some stuff. The last thing I remember was Eve wandering in the woods.

Guess I'll check the archives first.

That was the last episode (hence the "PREVIOUSLY ON CRIME T- I mean Adams and Eve"). We might come back to that, but this is what happened after Steve left the camp.

"Still no sign of Grug... but at least I'm avoiding the rush-hour traffic! I wouldn't want to get caught in that mess!"

"Maybe I should circle back around and check the far side of the swamp-"

"KREEEEEEEE!"

"What's the matter, girl?"

"A Sardak trap!"

"KREEEEEEEE-"

[pteranodon noise abruptly cuts off]

"Whooooaaa-!"

Roll a d12 and link to this post for whatever you do, please! To roll, put dice+1d12 in the Options field!

Rolled 9 (1d12)

Jump off and strangle the Sardak.

"Fella, I might not be from Texas-"

"-but I know a thing or two about wrangling critters! Yaaah!"

"KREEEEEEEE!"

"Aaah-!"

"Trying to take me down? I'll throttle you with my bare hands if I have to!"

"Pathetic primate! You are too weak to hurt me! Look how easily I turn back your paw! How many bones does it have? Shall we count? One-"

"Aaaaugh!"

"Wait, the rope! If I can only-"

"Wait, the rope! If I can only-"

"Now, is there anything you wish to say to me before I throttle you to death, filthy primate?"

"Better hurry, your bus is about to leave."

"Wha-"

"Wait, what are you doing? The tether is still connected to the beast!"

"I know."

"KREEEEEEEEE!"

"Hrrk-!"

"Don't forget to write!"

"That takes care of him... but Grug's been captured. They're probably taking him to their fortress-city. If I hurry, I can make it back to camp and grab some useful equipment before it gets dark..."

"It might be nice to have some help in dealing with the Sardaks... but I've already lost time dealing with this one, and they might get there before I can even catch up if I don't follow them."

...

>Go back to camp and get help
>Track them to intercept them
>Head straight for the Sardak fortress
>something else

Roll a d12 and link to this post for whatever you do, please! To roll, put dice+1d12 in the Options field!

Rolled 8 (1d12)

We have to save Grug, but pick up anything useful on the way there!

Rolled 3 (1d12)

>Track them to intercept them

"No time to go back - if I'm going to save Grug, I need to hurry!"

[tree trunk cracking noise]

"Oh, no, just what I need!"

"He didn't see me! Only one chance... I'll have to time this just r-"

"-rmmph!"

"Mike Adams no fight!"

"What the devil- Urr! What are you doing here?"

"Quiet!"

"Big-Teeth not know we here!"

[low growling noise]

"Come, Mike Adams follow Urr!"

"You don't have to ask me twice."

"Where are we going?"

"Urr take Mike Adams to cave of ancients."

"Cave of-?"

"This place cave of ancients!"

"Would you look at that? Some kind of naturally glowing minerals... Urr, what is this place?"

"Mike not hear good! This cave of ancients."

"I know, but-"

"Humans use cave of ancients since beginning of time. Always know about secret place. This most secret place in world. Not even Galdaks know about cave of ancients."

"Magic crystals in cave of ancients protect Urr and Mike from Sardaks."

"What do you mean, protect us?"

"Sardak crystal, one Sardak emperor sit on-"

"I've seen it. Grug destroyed it."

"No. Sardak crystal still powerful, even if broke. Very powerful magic."

"Now that I might believe."

"Sardak crystal let Sardaks see other places. See humans, like Wing-Teeth see humans. Cave of ancients keep Sardaks from seeing hidden treasure of humans."

"Seeing... what do you mean? What are you hiding here?"

"This."

"Urr, that's a piece of the Sardak crystal! It's dangerous!"

"Urr know. Sardak crystal very dangerous. But humans use Sardak crystal too, in legend."

"Long time ago, human slaves to Sardaks dig for crystal. Crystal not all in one piece, but every piece very powerful. Sardaks watch human slaves very close, but one slave very clever, hide piece of crystal. Sardaks not know about piece. Sardaks never find out."

"And this... is that piece?"

"Urr want Mike Adams to have."

"This could be what we need to defeat the Sardaks once and for all! If I could figure out how to use this like the Sardak Emperor uses that throne... but I'm getting ahead of myself. Grug is probably already inside the Sardak fortress by now!"

"Urr know secret way into Sardak fortress. Urr too old to go, but tell Mike, Mike go, free Grug."

"I hope Urr's directions are better than Grug's... I can't afford to waste any more time!"

"If that's the 'really big tree', then the secret entrance should be right around this next cliff-"

"What in heaven's name - it's some kind of ruins! Whatever it is, it must have been pretty impressive in its time. From what Urr told me, the entrance to the Sardak fortress should be inside-"

[growling noise]
