I keep getting normies I recruit on nights my regular crew isn't avail specifying they're interested in this. Asking for clarification usually gets met with something along the lines of "I wanna be Xena and decapitate people\want to hire prostitutes" but the other night a guy tried to take a woman alive specifically to rape her.
This obviously triggered the rest of the party, and I was none too happy--if you meant you wanted non-con you needed to tell me that up front--which got me thinking: why are so many people sheepish about explaining what they want if they're gonna go for it anyway?
Specifically this "18+ Adult Content" asking-about crowd.

I was being factious, the guy had already annoyed most of them so it was just kind of the tipping point.
iRun an eRP game where much worse occurs so I'm not terribly bothered but ya gotta have set expectations.
The party were already just people who'd happened to be in cells together when a prison break occurred. Their only bond was being heretics innawoods on the lamb, after the fateful crossing and RapeGate party stability had hit absolute zer0.
What if there was a game about consensual murder? It'd probably be boring but yeah I get your point. It's what people say n\on eRP forums like Elliquiy to avoid saying rape.

There are lots of people that have gore and rape ('noncon') from both sides as fetishes. It's actually kinda unsettling. t. Someone who uses F-List (so sue me). I play doms in situations that would never fly IRL, because being a rapist actually gets a shit ton more hits for some reason unless you play a chick. Never understood it myself.

To reiterate I didn't mind the rape, it was his autism reaching peek that was the real problem--he'd couched his desires as being for "18+ Content" and that wasn't a real explanation.
He also didn't call it rape he called it "fun," which just added to his overbearing demeanor (we had to establish speaking orders to keep him from drowning everyone else out).
Yeah it's pretty pedestrian in the eRP world.
Less so the pick up games facilitated through FaceBook world.
