Fuck Deathwatch, xenos-tech using gaylords. STCs 4 lyfe.

Crying Orks/10, seriously though, I can't see any gaps in your army unless they go maximum madman and flood the table with Dakkajets.

Why do you always use the same fucking gif, christ you are a fucking faggot.
Its not even that good.

Just to annoy people, nothing more, nothing else.

Speaking of which, let's repost these.

So, what can we actually expect from the book unit-wise beyond shooty Deathwatch, choppy Deathwatch, captains and dreads?
Terminators?

Aliens are just STCs that produce forbidden technology.

No point putting more Seraphim in that unit. Once you have the double Seraphim with Shredding Hand Flamers, it's 'Remove all Orks within 8 inches".
Put Litanies of Faith on the Priest so your war hymns go off automatically instead of 50% of the time.
Then get ANOTHER priest and put it in the Crusader/Assassin unit so you can reroll saves AND wounds.
Where's Coteaz in all of this?

Not sure if venerable, venerable plus bits, or new kit for deathwatch dreadnought.

Are the non vanguard marines new?

Bikes seem unlikely, though, given how the the White Scar biker is described as a real oddball in Deathwatch.

I asume they are Saint Celestine's escort but in case they aren't...

You really should do two squads of 5 seraphims with two handflamers and a grenade each. if you could sneak a mystic into one of the henchmen warbands, deepstrikes those fuckers and watch your fire crotched ladies go to down for barely any points.

On a side note. stop triggering my yellow fetish. Had to buy the Infinity Dragon lady just to be my Chaos knight pilot.

Question about mobile Battlescribe. How the hell do I post a list without copying 12000 characters?

Play any games this week, /40kg/? I just got back from playing my first game ever. My Orks vs my buddy's Black Templars. It was a 1000pt match, since I'm still learning all the rules. I lost, but just narrowly. He used some forgeworld artillery unit that barraged my boyz to death from the other end of the table.

The priest is going with Crusader/ass crew.

Coteaz, mostly for psyker. Could go for a cheaper inquisitor and just add a random psyker in each squad for almost the same effect.

I bought a Start Collecting: Astra Millitarum box to give the game a shot, but it's really shitty pointswise. I'm going to be heading out to a game tonight, and I'm bringing my dinky little army. Are there any lists on how to make something you can play with out of a unit of shock troops, a commissar, a heavy weapons team and a leman russ?

Im curious as to how they'll represent deathwatch as an army when it's more of an army of individuals. Heavy weapon guy, terminator guy, vanguard guy, special weapon guy, Psyker guy, and Biker guy may be a cool unit for fluff, but in this game where mixing weapons in a devastator squad makes you an insane person, not so much.

...woulda been cool to see new deathwatch scouts... if terminators aren't in the game box I kinda doubt they'll be in the book.

It's vanguard vets with a Deathwatch upgrade kit alongside the Deathwatch vets, who apparently will get their own box.

what are the best novels???

Played Guard + Tau (me) vs GK + Ultramarines. Those 2 have fought against me twice in 2000 pt games together and have got the strategy down to a T. We called it quits turn 2, and the GK player and I vowed to stop playing against each other for a while, as every game we've played has been a landslide for one opponent, and in general haven't been fun.

Could replace the Crusader with another Chimera, put a psyker a mystic in each.

But I could just leave the 10 girl seraphim as it is, since I like my dominions.

There should be a formation of just the units you got in the box in that box, user.

Format it to be legible on Notepad.

Well, the Overkill box did contain a terminator, so there's that...

nice kasrkin pic you got there user

Howling Griffons and Black Templars?

Oh fuck yes.

Odd seeing Autek's boys getting love, but that could be the Brazen Claws. I doubt it's one of the lesser known chapters that have the claw symbol, or that it's intended for both Red Talons and Brazen Claws.

Is that a Flesh Tearers pauldron?

Fuck me.

...

>no blood Ravens pauldron
Oh well. Hopefully forgeworld brings back the transfer sheet with the release of DoW3.

How does someone go about play Tyranid? Are they even Zergier than Orks?

Moulded successor chapter shoulders?! WhaAaaaaaaaaaat

>that middle pauldron
Is that one of the Consul symbols, and isn't the third one the Novamarines symbol?

There was a Blood Raven in Deathwatch at least.
Even if the White Scars and he are now Librarians for my Ravenwing

xD maybe they could steal it ;D
lololololol

No wait that's the Sons of Medusa.

Overkill box had a termie.
I'd be shocked if they didn't have the ability to field the overkill guys in the codex, esspecially since this release basically confirms codex: Genestealer cults, and given that they were the other guys in the overkill box, it would make no sense to not have that box be able to be taken in the new codexes. And seeing as this stuff gives a great amount of credence to the "rountree actually knows what he's doing, GW is saved" argument, we can actually assume that GW's actions will make some level of sense

Tyranids should be shooting in the shooting edition. Minimal troops, maximum flyrants, a few carnifexes, maybe some other fliers, perhaps a couple of thropes.

>a single shoulder pad is the only update Black Templars will ever get to their models

hmm

I played my first game since 5th edition on Sunday against another returning friend. I was playing SoB and he was playing Eldar at 1000 points. Holy fuck. He wasn't even using a cheesy list, no wraiths, only one serpent, and the game might as well have been over on T2. He's Not even that good of a player, either.

Idk even know what to do anymore.

Oh yknow that's right. I would love to see that. Don't see any reason they wouldnt include their rules. Wouldnt it be awesome if they could join deathwatch squads?

Yeah, but I don't need an entire model, just more pauldrons. I fucking hate freehanding their symbol, not nearly as easy as my 30k ultramarines. Oh well. Perhaps we'll get something with the release of DoW 3, seeing as GW seemse to be trying to make somewhat smart decisions now, and having something like a special edition that includes a couple of models that can hook players onto the tabletop game would qualify as a "somewhat smart decision"

Fuck off, you memespouting retard.

...

Made modifications.

>No LRC

I'm not mad, just confused

...

It could be worse. They could be the The Nameless. No seriously that is a chapter's actual name.
>Corvus Blackstars
Do what to the what now?

Oh shit

...

They aren't that special despite everyone who wants to turn them into snowflakes.
All they do is take a couple extra battle bros because they are rule lawyers and don't like librarian.

GK/BA/DA/SW all have multiple units that are different than all the Codex Space Marine chapters.

Not trying to start anything but genuinely curious why so many think BTs are worth any more than a founding chapter or something as truly unique as the Grey Knights.

I have the impression it is missing the bottom.

They have got termies.

...

I see someone was inspired by Garro's style.
I was right! It was the Sons of Medusa! Also is see the Hawk Lords, and a lot of Fists.

Well this is awkward

that Watch Captain seems to be the calmest marine in that group.

>combi heavy weapons
Just another toy to dangle over the heads of chaos marine players.

How's that heresy thing treating you guys? Got any nice new toys to share?

>Bolter glaive thing

Also dat plas cannon dread arm.

Don't taunt them. It's like trying to mercy kill a baby seal with a club.

You're a big guy.

>Not trying to start anything but genuinely curious why so many think BTs are worth any more than a founding chapter or something as truly unique as the Grey Knights.

Because they used to have a codex and people were expecting them to keep it, instead they get shoved into the corner and forgotten, even in the supplement for the codex they got nothing. Back in 4th before the DA had their update BT and DA codex had the same ammount of 'special' stuff, same went for BA and BT still got nothing except rules that suck shit and a retcon for no reason, might as well go back to 2nd ed and make them a codex chapter.

>Dark Angel got a jump pack and a bolt pistol
>White Scar got new legs, a bolt pistol and a jump pack
>Space Wolf got a jump pack, bolt pistol and power sword
>Blood Angel got a power sword and a bolt pistol
>Ravenguard remained as he is (i.e. perfect)
I had planned on using them as regular Vanguard vets, but I suppose I've already got one unit ready to go, assuming a LC sergeant and four doudes with powerswords are still an option.

Thats kinda a dumb reason.

>Corvus Blackstar
What?

>me ammount of 'special' stuff, same went for BA and BT still got nothing except rules that suck shit and a retcon for no reason, might as well go back to 2nd ed and make them a codex chapter.
user, that's what GW's trying to at the moment.

see

The one that comes in the Venerable Dread kit?

The new flyer seems to be named the Corvus Blackstar.

I'm betting that this
Is the corvus blackstar. The blackstar is in the vehicle section and that's definitely a unique vehicle.

The question is what rules it will have, and if it was the result of xeno tech

It doesn't look like it has xeno tech on the outside.

Sexy

>Corvus Blackstar
>Corvus Dropship Wing
Oh fuck, new landing craft?

Never said it was a good one.

The real reason is "silent protest" got banned for posting in a thread where the image was pretty much related. Now using it anywhere is ok. Not much of a better reason. Got my reaction and I'm happy.

GW loves to kill the armies and games I play.

Squats? Dead, SoB almost dead, BT almost dead. BattleFleet Gothic dead! Necromunda Dead!

Has anyone here ever gone to Nova Open before near DC? I'll be checking it out since I'm in the area on business at the time. How long does it usually take them to ship out the passes?

Oooh, it looks sexy.

Any other SM players planning to run a DW force instead?

It looks markedly different from other imperial flyers, and call me crazy, but I"m getting a very strong tau inspired vibe from it, but can't tell exactly why.

>Tired of Wraithknights stomping around as the biggest thing on the field?

>New from Games Workshop, 560mm Captain Artemis.

What are his stats?

It sounds like you have the worst luck outside of Orks and CSM players.

Emperor's bony sack im losing my mind right now with this dump. Right in my tacticool marine weak point.

Is that a non retarded Stormtalon?

I'll probably just start building a DW army alongside my SM army. because that's what I needed, to start a 6th army. Damn you GW and your plastic crack
DW will probably play very differently from SM, and will definitely look different, so I see no reason to not collect them independently.

Though I find it interesting that they have no cents.

>A fucking glaive bolter
Yeah.... I might become a Deathwatch player.

I want a whole squad of them

I don't see it.

Shit, From the thumbnail I thought that was one of the DA flyers.
That's pretty cool. Dual assault ramps hint at good things to me.
Fucking custodes halberd?

>not a flying brick

We Infinity now.

I'm also going to start up DW, the Watch Commander looks beautiful and it's always something to ally with my Inquisitor

I hope the conversion kit comes with a bunch of different chapter shoulders

My regular Marines may lose their spot as my go-to army.

I have a eternal Deathwatch project where every once in a while I just grab some bits and build a Sternguard, Vanguard or Terminator that looks like he could be in DW. Overkill was good, too, so now I have about 30 or so ready to be primed (apart from the termies missing a DW shoulderpad).
Last time I was this stoked was with the AdMech release.

Alright everything looks great so far, but how's the fluff?

i kinda want those harlequins but they play similar to my slaanesh daemons, only they hit weird

>Still no support for Red Hunters
Why live.

>ordo xenos release
>supporting ordo hereticus chapter

The formation doesn't tell me the points value or the upgrades I should take though

Never seen it but I have only been playing for two years and own no dreadnaughts, venerable or otherwise.

It looks cool though.

I don't see anything regarding the Ordo Hereticus, just the =][= as a whole?

Ordo Xenos - Check

Ordo Malleus - Check

Ordo Hereticus - the fuck are my new Sisters, gw?

I am making a 1000pt list for my first game on tuesday, I am using imperial fists.

What do y'all think about this?
