hey young justice user is frequent flyer miles from Terraria a perk or a superpower for the purposes of Amazo backup data? it seems like a very very specific form of reality warping so I was thinking superpower
Anon2
you said it that great battler line was not!Kamen Rider but Kamen Rider
can really very between the armor and transformation thing so I would like a more clear & explicit answer please
...
>it seems like a very very specific form of reality warping
Oh my god you moron. It's so obviously a perk.
>Is a magical door in the warehouse that leads to a fiat-generated world a perk or a superpower
This is why nobody likes you, Tera. Stop trying.

Aww, that's adorable. Hannah the Hive Queen's making fast friends with Daedalus and Ned the Necron Spyder. And Mica Jr's treating her like twin sister! And even Lucy's somewhat tolerating her! That's a big sign of approval!
Anyway. I...hate to admit this but this place completely validates the Macross approach. Once I set up some superdimensional fold wave communications between humanity and the Formic hives I can bypass a completely unnecessary genocide. The kind of mistake I would have made once upon a time.
Nope. Not thinking too hard about that one. Just gotta focus on the resources saved through bug peace.
Oh, it's not going to be perfect because humans here are fucking assholes but I just murdered the ambassador with dwarf bread, and that makes me the new ambassador. So I'ma negotiate really, really favorable terms for the Formic-Human treaty. Which amount to any human laying a hand on a Formic drone being literally worse than murder.
Case in point: This asshole. Oh, you have some of my perks. That's a neat trick, buddy! Wanna see a neater one? I have this one perk called Via Abnegato, which means no, you don't have those perks. And now neither do I!
You know what the difference between us is, though? I have and make backups! Enjoy falling into a black hole for͝e̸͢v̛é̡r̡!̷
No comment.
Also c'mon man, for once I got bigger things to worry about than keeping a hypothetical harem from growing out of control once they figure out my essence can provide more than Exaltation.
Method 1: Cheat Mode from Minecraft.
Method 2: Dr. Amp’s Wondrous Pixel Transmogrifier from Kidd Radd.
Method 3: there's an item (a flask) in a jump that basically gives you unlimited amounts of any liquid put inside it, can't remember name.
Methods 4+: there's probably more.
I was thinking more about the generate and destroy the worlds partrather than the magical door part, also I literally Woke up to the idea so it has not been thought through at all
That would be Great Detective. It also stops bullets!
infinite liquid generator in Terraria does exactly what you're Wanting

I'm down for that!
What happens if I have Dark a Binding and I eat a key blade wielder? Does it mean I can now wield and summon their key blade?
Do I get a heartless form of powers if I eat a heartless? Same thing regarding nobodies.
Is there a way for me to make my own heartless or nobodies? And can I just get heart extraction machine or Ansem's/Xehanort's notes in-jump?
I heard someone claimed birth by sleep. Whadup with that
What jumps have perks that make it so your memory can't be affected by spells or such bullshit?

Let's get this show started
So the other night I was just messing around on my own. Laptop was a brick as always and it was too cold outside to try for the gaming room. Playing phone apps was out too, I had terrible taste in free games and Pokemon Go was out due to the lack of any stops nearby. Looked like it was either random browsing with a movie in the background, or read a book. Then I saw it.

"C'mon Rally, let's go on an adventure!"
Is there anything that can be used to cancel or mess with supernatural powers in general?
...well, that was a short Chain
Are there any replicas of Perfect Surprise Defense and Perfect Sleep Awareness perks like those from Exalted?

Well now I feel like an idiot.
Its a sign I suppose, I should just stick to jump making than jump taking.
There is nothing perfect in jump chain. There are a number of perks that literally make it so nothing can ever be perfect when used against you or to defend against you.
Just became a robot that doesn't need sleep.
It's just the charm name in Exalted. Doesn't have to be literally perfect, just the general theme of things.
**robot**
Why didn't I think of that?
I mean... maybe stop to think it through for a few seconds before posting?
So what do your warframe special attacks do? What are they named? What's your warframe look like? What's it called?
sorry this annoys you
I wholeheartedly approve of FREEDOM BUS shenanigans.
>You have two free grade ranks to use in your respective backgrounds.
I want to make sure I'm reading this right: If I'm a Naturalist, I get two free levels of Mirrors AND two free levels of Pages?
In case you're interested, Good Tastes Good from Tales of Symphonia means if something is good for you, it tastes good. So if eating magic is good for you, it'll taste excellent.
Thanks for the update.
There's something involving Water Ant from Sim Ant which allows you to drink a potion and reconstitute it.
Two free levels in total. You can put both in Mirrors, one in each, or both in Pages. Just like the Fallen London job freebies.
So is there any way to become part of the Parr family in the Incredibles jump? I think I saw this question asked earlier but I didn't see any answer.
I'm 10 and what is this?
The internet.
Jumpchain. Read the op. go to the google drive and read the how jump pdf.
Also check the irc if you have questions.
Nah, he needs a password to enter the IRC.
[spoilers]The password is "belly button". No girls allowed.[/spoiler]
Why? He doesn't have to go to the IRC to get simple questions about jumpchain answered. That's the entire fucking point of a thread.
it was only a suggestion.
thank you
A poor one.
How do you change what liquid is in the flask? Can you? Does it work on any liquid (including ones with special properties) or just booze?
I thought the point of the thread was to yell at jump makers?
Please get out with your butthurt factionalism.
I don't see how. People in the IRC are friendlier anyways. You just seem like an asshole.
That's what I thought.
>I don't see how.
You're telling someone new to get out of the thread and not to ask questions or do anything here. To not use this thread for its purpose. For no reason at all.
>Second part
See
I never said to leave the thread. I said to check out the irc. You do realize you can have more than one tab open at a time right?
Copypasta. You are responding to a copypasta. There was not actually a 10 year old child confused about what this thread was about you dense fucks.
Reasking from last thread. CleanUp user, some Incredibles questions for when you get back.
Since Drop-In, Designer, and Villain get 300CP for items, are Super and Super Kid meant to get 300CP for powers? It was pointed out that they get discounts on powers, but Drop-In, Designer, and Villain get discounts on items as well as item CP. Just a random suggestion but if you wanted to give the other backgrounds discounts on powers then some of the heroes killed by their capes could have their powers discounted for designers, and some of those killed by Omnidroid prototypes could be villain discounts, with Drop-Ins getting an assortment of the remaining powers. Just my brief thoughts on the matter, discard them freely if you don't care for the idea.
Is the distance Elasti-Jumper lets you stretch your total, or how far each limb can stretch?
Can Companions buy things like Nomanisan, Edna Complex, or the security upgrades that can be applied to the warehouse?
Why do you have to pay for the Team Costumes when imports get a suit of their own?
Would the Designer capstone let you 'upgrade' costumes or do you need to make them from scratch?
You said to only ask questions there.
>then some of the heroes killed by their capes could have their powers discounted for designers,
Incredible.
Nobody thinks they're actually ten, kid. It's an extremely old meme, but often used to genuinely ask a question as well.
It keeps from clogging the thread and questions can be answered faster that way.
>Clogging
With what, jumpchain discussion? You do know people asking questions about JUMPCHAIN aren't clogging up shit right? That is the entire fucking point of this thread.
Is anyone working on a KH:COM jump?
I believe that one is covered by the current jump. Only BBS is not.
alright.
That's retarded, questions make for discussion and what if someone has the same question? Do not just direct people to the IRC.
You can replace the liquid in the flask by willingly letting it run empty once, then filling it up again, like a normal drinking flask. It will only work on fluids considered drinkable. So water, tea, juice will be fine, but not liquid gold or anything not consumable.
>but not liquid gold or anything not consumable.
Maybe if you're a scrub.
It was sort of covered in the main jump. If there's something specific you want from it let me know and I can talk to Spyro when we update it.
Birth By Sleep has fallen into my hands for now, but I'm a long way off being able to work on it.
You can buy the ability to summon Nobodies and Heartless in the jump, including your own custom type of either of them.
I really don't know about Dark Binding rulings that much, but if you ate a Keyblade Wielder then the Keyblade may abandon them, or it might stick with them when their soul is manifested like when Alucard brought out his army. I don't think it would let you just use their Keyblade, but that might be my understanding of Dark Binding being wrong.
Using it on Heartless or Nobodies would... Probably destroy the one of them, depending on which one you consider to have the 'soul'. I think officially the Nobody has the soul, but Hearts get some odd treatment that certainly makes it seem like they're souls. I don't think Sora was soulless from the point of being un-Heartlessed till he merged with Roxas again, just as an example of how confusing it can get.
Well, yes, it is exploitable if you're the type who can drink dextro-based alcohol safely and offer someone else a drink. Just that it won't store anything you personally couldn't drink. And it only stores fluids at that one temperature.
Would potions count? That was what the original user was asking about, after all.
>in case the "what is this?" question is actually intended.
Jumpers, imagine the following:
So, that's another ten years done and dusted. Now comes the part where you pick (or your Benefactor picks) where to go next and you sort out the messy business of spending all those little tokens.
But instead of the usual situation, everything just goes black, and you appear in a new place - looking around, it seems like you're in a modern Earth city, but with no idea of what setting this is.
What do you do, with no idea of what universe you're in? How do you try to work out what setting you're in, or if you've acquired new powers?
marks deducted for reading a Universal Canon or similar items
Sure, if it was a drinking potion. There'd have to be enough to fill the flask up in the first place. And it'd have to be something that wasn't explicitly a unique one-of-a-kind unduplicatable potion.
>Hey, Viserys, want a swig?
Will your BBS jump also have key blade supplement? Will we be able to do stuff with Unversed? Will X-blade or fusing key blades be a thing?
Will we have cool Keyblade Gliders and Keyblade Kamen Rider armor?
What are the best historical jumps? I want to go back in time and do crazy olde timey shit.
>How do you try to work out what setting you're in
I don't.
I look for communists to purge
Turn invisible, fly into the sky, and look for the nearest forest. Then find the mailbox I bought in Gravity Falls that will answer any question and use it to figure out what new powers I have, in addition to the standard list of questions I ask to establish things about the world.
CoM is covered by KH. I don't really know anything that CoM has that isn't covered by the main jump...outside of memory manipulation I believe. Which I might ask TopHat to apply next time we work on the jump.
KH is really weird. They treat the Heart and the Soul as distinctly different things. I figured the heart is the fancy mojo that powers a soul. I believe the Soul acts as a vessel for whatever the fuck a heart is.
Using Dark binding could make either the keyblade leave or only work with the soul familiar as a proxy only. I doubt the keyblade would just move on to you unless you prove more worthy than the previous wielder.
BBS was claimed when I was working on KH prior to really claiming it. But I didn't want to start shit so I just took out everything dealing with BBS so as to let the prior guy work on it further.
Oh you got the rights to it now? That's neat. I hope to work with you on further KH stuff. How would you handle having another keyblade? Would you just import it if you chose KH jump first and vice versa for if you chose BBS first? That'll be confusing.
It really wouldn't be BBS without that stuff...
If I do it, yes it will use the supplement, which will likely get some add on's. If someone else does it, maybe? It'd be up to them, although I assume Spyro or I would be consulted.
Gliders would definitely be a thing, as would the armour.
X-Blade and fusing? Eh... results unclear, ask again later. Don't get your hopes up for it.
The Unversed would definitely be in there. I don't know if they'd get their own supplements like Heartless and Nobodies, but I won't rule it out.
I was thinking card battles.
But, what if there are no communists?
That's an interesting idea. The real me would probably hop in the warehouse immediately and start scrying to find out details about the situation, and use precognition to search out big threats and checking on anything that pings my danger sense. A duplicate/me in two places at once would keep going on with whatever I seemed to be doing to start with... Also casting Post-Cognition to see what native me was doing, if there is a native me at all. Could be drop-in after all. It could also be a selective amnesia drawback, so I'd check on my memory backups to make sure everything is ready to kick in if I start forgetting stuff..
My companions would also be involved, the Halo AI would access the local net and start rooting around. My other companions would do a mix of old fashioned investigating and guarding me, since they can get a bit protective sometimes and an unusual situation like this would set off their weirdometers something fierce.
We'd likely kick the robot production into high gear just in case, and I'd also start using Spiritualist to get a bit of help from the area around us.
I'd be up for working with you on it, when I have time for it. We also need to chat at some point about the update to KH, which I only remembered we hadn't finished today. Need to get working on that...
Only a dirty commie would say that.
Platoon?
I'll reiterate my ROE
- Look for gods that are against freedom to purge
If no anti-freedom are found
- Look for Xenos that are against freedom to purge
If no anti-freedom xenos are found
- Look for humans that are anti freedom to purge
Freedom
Assassin's Creed, you can go to most any time period and the ayy lmaos and illurminutty are only behind the scenes so if you don't get involved in that stuff it's pretty historically accurate.
What are good combos to healing factor, Self Molecular manipulation, and SCP anomalous physiology?
I don't think I've ever seen that webm so clear before... I also don't remember the rocks being flung at him.
I can't get over how weird it'd be to import a spear as my keyblade. Would it become a sword or could the 'handle' be halfway down? Even if one or both ends ended up having the whole key/blade motif that'd at least still work spear-like.
While I did enjoy the card battle system in CoM I can't help but feel it's more cumbersome at worst overpowered to shit at best. With little inbetween. Which is why we included the deck of cards in the items section as a thing you can get as a reference to CoMs battle system. Granted making an upgrade where you and an opponent can have a wonderful little fight [or group fight] with such a battle system like with the struggle weapons and its respective tourney minigame attachment would actually be pretty fun addition.
Yeah that actually might work. I'll talk with Tophat on that with the next KH update.
Oh right. Be sure to shoot me an email whenever you get the chance as well.
How come Wildcard absolutely refuses to update any of his old jumps?
Only the highest quality freedom.
Rakshasa from Lords of Light.
Alirght.
Imports end up a bit like Ultima Weapon, an item inside the fancy bits that make up the Keyblade. It may get resized while in Keyblade form so that it fits, but you can swap it back at will. Depending on what it is you may have difficulty using the items powers or traits in the Keyblade form, but that's why you can swap it back in an instant. Well, not quite an instant, but the flash of light that they use to summon Keyblades doesn't last very long so you can do it quite quickly.
Email sent.
What about the notes or making heartless/nobodies in other jumps?
What's the chance that if we have potential that one of key blades in Keyblade graveyard think we are worthy?
It's odd how Keyblades just seem to be multiplying. Sora apparently inherited the Keyblade that was meant to Riku, so he is using one that was originally Terra's, and also has a Keyblade from Ventus. Roxas could wield two Keyblades but arguably he was using Sora's. Riku later got his own Keyblade and what's weird is that Terra's mind, as Xehanort said his Soul succumbed to him, still wields Terra's Keyblade as Lingering Will.
What about the whole handle placement deal?
I bet it's more that there's a shit ton of keyblades left over from the war that have been without masters for a long ass time do to being picky and most of the people who'd be doing the transference ritual being dead. So it's less that they're multiplying and more that Xehanort's bullshit and attempts to get a keyblade war going are getting more and more people chosen by keyblades because of worthiness and unprotected blade swapping.
Fuck.
I already have all three Dantes you can get in all jumps imported as Wielder, Nobody and Heartless. How am I supposed to get another Dante to be unversed for full set bonus when I have them perform some temporary Fusion Dance?
Aren't Unversed just Vanitas' own personal self-loathing manifested? They're not like a universal constant or 'naturally' born or self-replicating.
The only thing that'd make sense would be to make you a being akin to Vanitas, not an Unversed.
Ah. So visiting that Keyblade graveyard might help if one has potential?
...Was there any way ever to know what are the qualities the Keyblade is looking for? And besides import in the Keyblade supplement, is there a way to merge Keyblade with other weapons?
THE UNIVERSE WILL EMBRACE FREEDOM
Wasn't Vanitas Remnant considered an Unversed?
Visiting the graveyard probably doesn't do anything. Keyblades don't seem to need to be near you/in the same reality to find someone they've chosen, they just teleport to them.
Still a being born from Vanitas himself.
am I the only one who thinks that the drawback that forces you to mentally press buttons like in KH games and being limited to a number of abilities with easy access wouldn't be that hard, especially for a strong jumper?
For a spear part of the handle would likely become the central grip. Same with swords and a good deal of other melee weapons.
Guns may end up looking very strange, it's possible part of the normal handle would be incorporated into the guard, which might let you use it like a gunblade.
Really odd weapons might be even odder still.
Chances of getting a Keyblade in the Graveyard to pick you? Unfortunately pretty slim. They've been there for a while without picking anyone in all the worlds, but might be able to find one. Maybe.
Just a note though, while Use Any Item perks would let you use someones Keyblade, you'd want to find a way to earn it's loyalty or it'll bugger off when you let go... if you let go.
That's why I'm unsure what I'll do with them. I need to replay BBS before I get started anyway, and that's a ways off from happening unfortunately.
Possibly. See my points earlier in this post.
You could use the same methods you normally use to fuse items, or imports in other jumps.
Just remember that like any item of dubious awareness it may not 'like' being fused into an unholy abomination of a weapon. I think we said that bought ones are always loyal, but if you manage to get one without paying CP it may leave if you start sticking other weapons in it.
Then is rolling the only chance to determine if a jumper that got potential from characters in world receives a Keyblade?
For a strong jumper there are a lot of perks that wouldn't be that hard. It's partially the annoyance, not just the challenge. We tried to make the drawbacks challenging or annoying regardless of your power level, but it's frankly impossible to account for everything.
It'd drive me fucking insane to be limited like that. Even how you talk to people is restricted to a menu with limited options.
Buy one.
